Sign of the times: Nebraskans Jokerize Ben Nelson
I said yesterday it wouldn’t be long before Obama’s Jokers posters started popping up across the country.
First, Claire McCaskill.
Now, Nebraskans have Jokerized Ben Nelson. (Or rather, he Jokerized himself, didn’t he?)
Reader Tim e-mails the photos and this message:
“Saw this in small town Nebraska today less than 50 miles from Ben Nelson’s home town. This is pretty surprising to me because this is strictly an agricultural area. Nelson has consistently catered to the agricultural interests in Nebraska and so is pretty popular among the farmers and ranchers in the area. Federal subsidies are a huge percentage of area farm income. But this last deal may have been the straw that broke the camel’s back.”

In the ’89 version of Batman, Jack Nicholson as the joker said, “This town needs an enema!”
Totally applicable to Washington, D.C. These Joker signs will start piling up like little Kilroys all over our nation to drive the enemy nuts.
Mark my words. SOMEONE will call this racist. I’m not kidding. The nutjobs on the left will take this as equating him with Barack Obama who had been jokerized before, which they called racist.
You watch. SOMEONE will claim that to “jokerize” someone is now a racial attack indirectly on Obama. It doesn’t matter that Romero, Nicholson, and Ledger are/were all white.
Next door to a Plumber? Coincidence – I think not…
Isn’t this the point in the script where the guys in black cropdusters “sanitize” the town?
You mean Andromeda Strain wasn’t an accident?
Isn’t this the point in the script where the
guysSEIU thugs inblack cropdusterspurple buses“sanitize”“Obamanize” the town?I prefer pretty girls in cropdusters, ala “Goldfinger.”
I see that Nelson is looking at having the Nebraska deal removed from the bill (only after criticism of course) and he says that more Senator’s are lining up with their hands out (DUH!). Looks like Harry Reid may be playing Santa with our money again on the 24th.
OUR GOVERNMENT AT WORK
Blagojevich takes bribes to fill Obama’s empty Senate seat = a crime.
Ben Nelson and a host of others take bribes from Harry Reid for their votes on healthcare = how business is done in D.C.
They should all be beaten and cast out of this country along with every other socialist/communist/humanist/statist.
BTW, the Longshore Workers Union was exempted from paying a tax on “Cadillac” health plans. Joins several other unions.
At what point does the scrutiny test of the Equal Protection Clause apply to a discriminated against majority and an unfairly rewarded minority?
I think he’s more like Two Face than Joker.
Problem is he looks better on the poster than in real life.
ed mahmud; haven’t you learned, you can only discriminate against the majority. no hate crimes if a minority sets out to kill white males and does so, but if a white male reciprocates he faces murder and hate crime murder charges. so both federal and state (double jeopardy laws, nah) courts get to whack at you.
The source of Ben the Joker may be from a challenge put down from the gents over at Hillbuzz. It looks like it could be?
They want photoshops for all 60 senators voting for the healthcare bill.
I’d forgotten them – yes, a definite upgrade.
I would say 2-face is more Ben Nelson’s Alter ego.
Says on Principle he can’t support the bill, but vavoom..$100 Million + payoff and he throws “Principle out the window…(as well as his career in the Senate)
Idunno. The Joker meme is getting old already. How about the Penguin?
Forget the Penguin-its a toss up between Mr. Freeze or The Riddler.
GSP
Nelson went a bit heavy on the lipstick.
He looks like a drag queen.
McConnell isn’t so opposed to Marxist Medicine he won’t agree to move the vote up early so the Senators can get to the airport early Christmas Eve to fly home.
Introducing a whole new character:
The AssClown
Well, Ben, years from now when you’ve fallen and you can’t
get up, or you just can’t get that arm or hand to or leg do what you want it to do anymore.
When you can’t push yourself up out of that chair and there’s no one around
to help you anymore, you’re going to ask yourself the question again. But, even before you ask the question, while its still forming in your mind, you’re going to know the answer.
That one decision I made at Christmas time of back in ’09:
“Will I enrich myself with my vote or my constituents who sent me here on their behalf; that one word, “yes” or “no” that will define the rest of my life.
Was it worth it?
”
Enjoy your Christmas with your family.
Love the pic! Is that a minstrell?
Methinks the Hamburgler is more apropros.
Corndogger maybe
Batman is a fun movie to pull from. How about Mars Attacks! version of term limits?
Nobody in the MSM will ask Obama (or even Gibbs) the following simple question: Is it fair that the federal government will pay all of Nebraska’s medicaid bills but not North Carolina’s or Michigan’s bills?”. It is a very simple question that Katie Couric or Brian Williams would ask to Bush if he were president and pulled the same stunt as was done to bribe (it’s not too strong a word) Nelson. But of course nobody will ask.
A second simple question is: Do you think it is fair that Mutual of Omaha will get a tax break not available to any other insurance company?”. Another simple question but nobody will ask Obama, Nelson, or Gibbs.
On this whole Jokerize theme…Perhaps I am showing my age here but I can not help but picture the donkey and the blue dog quislings in the older Batman TV series characters instead of the newer movie depictions.
Obama looking like Cesar Romero with the maniacal laughing
Nancy Pelosi would be the Burgess Meredith Penguin (There is no way I can picture a dem looking like Julie Newmar/Eartha Kitt/Lee Meriweather in a cat suit)
Nelson could be either the Riddler or the henchmen
Lest I forget, McCain as Robin.

Intriguing idea Fineous. Can we still get Slim Whitman to perform before the Joint Houses of Congress?
That one is already taken by Sandy Burger.
True-but nobody with a brain will care
My gosh, that Joker-ized picture of Ben Nelson look like John Gacy in his clown makeup! That’s a little scary!
