Unhinged update: Left-wing hate-crime hoaxer pleads guilty in Denver

By Michelle Malkin  •  December 22, 2009 10:46 AM

In August, Democrats in Denver tried to blame conservative Tea Party activists and Obamacare foes of vandalism at the party’s downtown headquarters.

Remember?

Even after the hammer-wielding suspect was revealed to be a far Left anarchist nutball who had worked for the SEIU-tied 527 group Colorado Citizens Coalition and once canvassed for a state Democratic candidate, state Democratic Party chair Pat Waak clung to her bogus indictment of conservatives:

“I stand by my statement that I think there are people opposed to health care reform and there has been a lot of rhetoric that has prompted an atmosphere that I don’t think is constructive,” Waak said Wednesday. “It’s such a polarizing issue. It shouldn’t be.”

Well, the hate-crime hoaxer pleaded guilty in Denver yesterday:

Activist Maurice Joseph Schwenkler, 24, pleaded guilty Monday to a second-degree misdemeanor for smashing windows at the Colorado Democratic Party headquarters last summer. He received one year of probation and was ordered to pay $5,000 in restitution for the Aug. 25 incident at the party headquarters at West Eighth Avenue and Santa Fe Drive, according to the Denver district attorney’s office. Schwenkler and an accomplice, who was never identified, took a hammer to 11 plate-glass windows. Police caught them in the act, and Schwenkler was arrested.

Being a Democrat Party official means never having to say you’re sorry for smearing grass-roots conservative activists.

WRONG! It should be polarizing- one side wants to enslave the other side to provide for all their needs with no reciprocity. We should not be against the enslavement of others? Oh, wait- the Democratic party was IS the party of slavery. I remember now.

Off topic, but it appears that Rep Grayson does not like being criticized:

In an effort to raise money against the outspoken freshman Democrat, a Republican activist named Angie Langley has launched “mycongressmanisnuts.com” — a Web site that parodies Grayson’s re-election site, “congressmanwithguts.com.”

Langley criticizes Grayson on her Web site for his “inappropriate behavior” and “childish approach” toward governing, and claims he “does not represent the values of central Florida.” She said in an interview with Fox News on Tuesday that she launched the site in an effort “to expose him (Grayson) for what he is.”

But Grayson is not amused, and he is asking U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder to conduct an investigation into the Web site and Langley, according to a report in the Orlando Sentinel.

In a four-page letter sent to Holder, Grayson accuses Langley of lying to federal elections and requests that she be fined and imprisoned for five years.

And what is this lie he is claiming:

Her lie, according to Grayson, is that she claims to be one of his constituents. Langley, Grayson says, is misrepresenting herself by using the term “my” in the Web site’s name.

Langley is a resident of Clermont, Fla., which is outside Grayson’s 8th District. Oh, my.

“Ms. Langley has deliberately masqueraded as a constituent of mine, in order to try to create the false appearance that she speaks for constituents who don’t support me,”

This coming from a guy who does not even hold town halls in his own district, he heads over to the next district over to the SEIU hall (anyone know if this hall is in the 8th district?)

    But wait it gets better:

Grayson writes in his complaint. “[She] has chosen a name for her committee that is utterly tasteless and
    juvenile.”</
    blockquote>

This coming from a Rep who has done some pretty utterly tasteless and juvenile things on the floor of the house (which MM has chronicled very well).

As far as they are concerned, while a looney leftwing liberal actually did the act, Conservatives created the “atmosphere”.

We need to hammer over and over – the D party is the party of slavery. The D’s want you as slaves to them in health care, the D’s want elderly as slaves with Social Security (and it’s attached rules). The D’s obviously have been successful in keeping most blacks as slaves – beholden to the government.

The D’s are the party of slavery (past, present and future)

the knee jerk “it’s a right wing conspiracy outrage” put out by the left media is quite amazing. wouldn’t you think that after a decade of having to apologize for getting the story wrong, these media “pro’s” would try getting the facts first. but the story is so much better when you can tell the fiction instead of the facts.
