Right now everyone gets the same treatment at the hands of the TSA — that included Joe Foss, former Gov of SD and WW II recipient of the Medal of Honor which TSA tried to take from him because it “could be used as a weapon.” Why should HE get a hard look, but we can’t even look sideways at someone who has shown ‘all the signs’ of those about to do something?

Now we have to live without pillows and blankets… and no bathroom privileges… sheesh… just wait until your landing is pushed into a endless holding pattern… and those Bud Lights are coursing their way to your bladder…

And pity the inconvenience faced by our righteous leader, who had to pull away from his Maui beach chaise to mumble some indecipherable pulp about maintaining security… Great job, Prince… Putting those blankets away has surely shut down al-Queda…

Does that include my 2 moslem friends, that I’ve known for years, who are very conservative in their religion, and I think very highly of? One is an ER doctor for years, the other an employee of a food market. In other words, if someone came after them for their religion, they would find them in my home, defended by me, a devout Christian. Don’t let yourself become a radical, Nail49. For now, I’m cutting this sick Nigerian some slack. Being on a plane with a gastrointestinal problem can mean several trips to the bathroom, especially if the symptoms are cramps, diarrhea, and vomiting. Plus, once there, you aren’t too interested in leaving. Of course, there are other conditions that would promote a trip to the bathroom, including low blood sugar, and hypotension. So, who knows? It may have just been bad timing; there wouldn’t have been a news story if there was no Xmas bomber.

graysonret: He gets NO slack in my book. I would argue that he may have had an “uppy tummy” because he swallowed the ingredients for a bomb inside a condom and was trying to retrieve them. Perhaps said condom ruptured and that is why he was in the bathroom losing his lunch, BOMB.

That way, any attempt to light a match would fail due to the airstream and there would be no luggage, no bathroom, no flight attendants, no crew, they would have to pilot the airplane themselves — Welcome Aboard!
