Gibbs: “[A]ny additional transfers to Yemen is not a good idea;” Obama: “Let me be clear…”

Scroll for updates…

All weekend long, Team Obama’s intel folks refused to say that the White House would stop Gitmo transfers to Yemen.

Looks like someone woke up and decided to stick a foot in the jihadi revolving door.

For the moment, anyway:

U.S. suspends Guantanamo prisoner transfer to Yemen…

“While we remain committed to closing the (Guantanamo) facility, a determination has been made right now — any additional transfers to Yemen is not a good idea,” said White House spokesman Robert Gibbs.

You don’t say!

Now, someone make sure that message gets sent to conflict-of-interest-laden AG Eric Holder and his cronies at Covington and Burling.

Update 4:52pm Eastern. President Obama is rushing through another half-hearted, perfunctory, hasty statement on homeland security after meeting with officials on the Crotch Bomber case. He flubbed Abdulmutallab’s name twice and issued one of his classic “Let me be clear” flip-flops — stating that Gitmo will be shut down, but that Yemeni Gitmo detainees will not be sent back to Yemen for now (contradicting his intel people over the weekend). Just later.

Oh, they will eventually transfer detained Gitmo terrorist to Yemen.

This statement is not much different than Obama’s rep’s statement about the International Ciminal Court where he basically said that he couldn’t support it before Gitmo closed, Iraq and Pak wars ended and, though not in these words, until we surrender our sovereignty to an international police force.

Well, he’s working on all of those little details. Just as they are working out the “image” issue for sending Gitmo killers to Yemen.

It’s all smoke and mirrors. This Admin is what it is. Corrupt and self serving.

It is necessary that these America-haters in D.C. continue to be smacked with a 2 x 4 between the eyes in order to have them focus on reality enough; so that at least even they, America-hating as they are, are forced to act less harmfully toward America than they otherwise would.

In otherwords the Obama administration will just speed up the process of transfering GITMO detainees to Illinois.

In Obama’s statement a few days ago, he talked tough but then gave away the store with his remark “consistent with our values”. By “our values”, Obama means the full ACLU agenda and the agenda of Covington and Burling, whose entire team of “pro bono” lawyers who got their thrills from representing Gitmo detainees. Obama signaled to his ACLU cronies that he was only giving bread and circuses to the great unwashed in the heartland and his real values are those of Cambridge, Ma. and the Harvard Law Schoo. We all know that this administration will do nothing. KSM knows a patsy when he sees one.

Speaking of “screwups”, I noticed that the one of the President’s security advisors, John Brennan, was out defending him over the weekend from what Dick Cheney said (Cheney was right on target if O had to send someone out to defend him).

In other news, Brennan was the guy who got ‘briefed’ by a Saudi minister on underwear bombers in October.

What’s annoying is that the President’s job is not apologizing for past perceived grievances by his nation, it’s not getting the olympics for his home city, it’s not calling police “stupid”, nor is it claiming we’re not a Christian nation and that we are one of the largest Muslim nations (I guess the other 7 states have a lot of Muslims), it is to protect and defend the Constitution of the US. And he’s too focused on the other stuff to do what his predecessor at least sort of tried to do.

And by the way, when one of these guys who’s been released strikes the US, it will not only be a coup for Al Qaeda, but will make all of us (not just “O”) look stupid and weak. This is a huge risk because all of our traditional enemies know how weak Obama is and now that the sheriff has declared himself unfit for duty, they’re just biding their time until they do their worst. Worse, our allies who’ve been shunned have decided that life goes on and will be forging new allegiances, possibly to our detriment.

I see world power the way I see wealth. It’s not static.

The guy spent too much time reading Alinsky and too little time reading Sun Tzu.

Does anyone know if NFL owners are planning to install Full body scans at the stadiums?

If airline passengers are protected with extra tight security and Full body scanners, what about Subway riders in New York and Chicago? This could be a major Civil Rights issue as these metro trains are the major means of transportation for poor African Americans living in those cities!

LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR ONCE AGAIN:

With terrorist-proof security at the airports, we will punish many BAD businesses at once. With declining Air-travels the Airlines, Car Rental companies, Hotels, Conventions, and Tourism will surely take hit; no better way to bring SOCIALISM to America, is there?

Sounds like we can not win this war. They can attack us in many ways forever. Subway, stadiums, trains, planes, truck bombs, car bombs, fires, random mass shootings. They will never give up, desire death to life, and are consumed with their ideology.

We will not fight them with all our might due to political correctness considerations and self imposed rules of society such as the Geneva Conventions and US ROE. They follow no rules other than what they say is in the Koran.

Whats the alternative? I guess we might as well surrender to Al Qaeda. Otherwise, it is just silly to continue fighting for years. We don’t have the resources and will eventually be conquered anyway. Russia and China are both waiting to destroy us. They don’t follow any rules of society either so it will be a fair fight between them and Al Qaeda.
