Purple Army to Coakley’s rescue: SEIU sends $685,000 more; And speaking of thugs…

I told you on New Year’s weekend and again last week that the SEIU was “pulling out all the stops” for Mass. Attorney General and Democrat Senate candidate Martha Coakley.
Now, on top of all the manpower that the Big Labor army of Purple Shirts has lent her, plus the group’s primary endorsement, and the $214,000 they sent her for radio ad buys last fall, the SEIU is preparing to burn through another $685,000 in rank-and-file union members’ dues for the attorney general.
Via the Boston Globe tonight:
A major national union supporting Democrat Martha Coakley is taking out a massive TV ad buy that slams her Republican rival, Scott Brown, for his positions on abortion and climate change.
The ad taken out by the Service Employees International Union, will begin airing statewide tomorrow. The buy size is $685,000, one of the largest of the election.
Still no word from Coakley’s AG office on the complaint filed by GOP challenger Scott Brown regarding the SEIU’s illegal use of state computers to lobby for Coakley’s Senate bid.
Birds of a corrupt feather…

Speaking of thugs, get a load of what happened to Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack as he tried to question Coakley at the big D.C. shindig tonight:
Yahoo News has a photograph of the incident here (though the caption fails to tell you the real story).

SEIU money and muscle to MA, can ACORN be far behind?
Dang…Mista White House organizer show do be bizzy 2nite!
(negro dialect)
This will be looked into immediately after they get done investigating the complaints about Obama’s web site accepting credit card contributions with no security measures. But first we need to know who Tiger slept with.
Also, Palin’s now a Fox News contributor. Let’s keep our eye on the ball and what’s really outrageous, shall we people??
That money would be better spent in Haiti right now.
Click on my moniker to donate. Sorry again Michelle.
Naw. Idol started back up. Tiger is so yesterday.
You know, Edwards was right (sort of). There really are two Americas… those with integrity, and those without.
The AP caption says, A supporter of U.S. Senate candidate Democrat Martha Coakley helps journalist John McCormack of The Weekly Standard as Coakley looks on as she was leaving a fundraiser in Washington, Tuesday, Jan. 12, 2010.
I guess they have a different definition of the word “helps” than I do.
Funny that’s precisely what I was thinking……
That video just turned me into a contributor to his campaign. Hopefully more will do the same. Make Dem thuggery backfire on the arrogant jackasses!
It seems as though we are forcing the SEIU to commit enormous amounts of resources in getting their shills elected.
She needs to shamed with that video until she names who that person was, then he needs to be charged with assault and battery by the DC Police.
On another note, had that been me, whoever that was would have found himself in a very painful hold and taken to the ground the second he touched me, maybe some reporters need to start doing the same.
I just sent another contribution to Brown.
As the toilet flushes, so another loyal corruptocrat is sent on her way to congress.
Speaks volumes on the Democrat view of Freedom of the Press.
Same story as the “free speech” mantra at Berkeley.
Depends on who defines it.
If I was an Independent, living in MA, the SEIU’s presence alone would have me vote for the other guy. Corrupt to the core.
Go Scott Brown!
but but but we were only protecting ms coakley from a pesky popparazzi. just as in st louis, the police arrested an innocent reporter because he was photographing the seiu attack on teaparty participants and the police didn’t want to arrest brother union workers. if the reporter hadn’t been there, and the whole assault photographed, i have no doubt the police would have told one and all “no harm no foul, rub a little mud on it and everyone clear out.”
This tv ad may help Brown more than hurt him with the extremely cold weather they have had in the NE along with the climategate emails support for climate chnage legislation is at an all time low.
Pretzel Logic runs through my head anymore:
“Well, I’ve seen ‘em on the TV, the movie show
They say the times are changing but I just don’t know
These things are gone forever
Over a long time ago, oh yeah, oh yeah, hey, hey”
Looks like panic time in corruptocrat city.
Going with climate change in a blizzard, not smart. I have friends who live up there, they say it has been way to cold for the global warming fraud. How do they know, they are tired of shoveling it. Even dumb dogs learn.
Or, in English:
The leader Obama is mobilizing all his National Socialist Workers (i.e., “purpleshirts”) to threaten and smash any and all freedom of speech and assembly of the people who oppose his master plan for National Socialism in America.
Thug looks like Michael Meehan, quite a resume:

* Vice President at NARAL Pro-Choice America
* Director Message and Polling at Democratic National Committee
* Political Director at Office of Senator Tom Daschle/Office of Democratic Leader
* National Political Director at US Senator Thomas Daschle

* Communications Director at U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, Washington D.C.
* KY press secretary at Dukakis/Bentsen Presidential Campaign

Drop him a line like I did. Ask him if it’s his company policy to assault reporters asking legitimate questions of public candidates. Ask him if he is going pay to have the reporters trousers repaired.
