Video: Union workers admits being paid by Coakley camp…but he’ll vote for Brown

I printed an e-mail from a reader I received yesterday about union workers with Coakley signs standing outside the UMass debate venue. The e-mail reported: ” While speaking with one of the union guys holding the Coakley sign, he admitted that his union was paying him $50 to stand and hold the sign. I was blown away, I always thought that these guys were out in the cold like us, doing what we thought was the right thing to do, not that they were actually being paid a fee to do it. The best part was when he admitted that although he was there because he needed the money, he was voting for Scott!!”
Now, there’s video. The union guy is wearing a Sheet Metal Workers shirt from Local 17. Love how he says, “Shhhh:”

Uh oh….’hope he doesn’t end up sleeping with the fishes after being exposed!
Take her money and vote for Brown…now that is capitalism.
Fine with me if they get paid to hold signs for Coakley but tell everyone they know they’re voting for Brown—so long as they really do!
Proclaim something and then do something else for money?
He could be the next Democrat Senator from Nebraska.
wow. I have no idea why people bother voting. It’s so corrupt that no vote really matters. This country isn’t great because of democracy, it is great in spite of it.
No matter how the ‘leaders’ are determined, any form of government leads itself to corruption. The bigger the government, the bigger the corruption.
It’s just sad. There’s no point voting because of crap like this. Why not just pay them 50 bucks to vote for them?
Let’s see…sheet metal union, could use the jobs created when the Republicans get drilling in ANWR started, takes union money to picket for democrat, votes for Republican because the economy will recover.
The democrats will just cry that he’s a plant and not really a true union worker. Except that he knows where his bread is buttered, so to speak…
Paid to hold a sign.
But, it’s TEA Partiers that are ‘astro-turf’.
Got it.
This guy will be unemployed before the sun comes up. Or possibly missing or found having “committed suicide” for some reason or other.
Either way, he’s no longer a Union Man.
Yep! It makes me sick every time I see that clip of Pelosi calling people at Tea Parties “astroturf” when the Dems are the real astroturfers. Somebody posted a comparison of the signs that left-wingers bring (all professionally printed) vs. right-wingers (all home-made). That’s enough to tell what’s going on, but the lame-stream media will NEVER mention it.
Fifty bucks! Crikey. Pint of corn likker still buys a vote in Kentucky.
Wait’ll his shop steward gets a hold of his ear!
That’s hilarious.
