Democrat depression: Obama “not pleased;” Hoyer blames GOP; Barney Frank sputters

By Michelle Malkin  •  January 19, 2010 02:39 PM

Oh, dear. The Democrats need a collective anti-depressant. On the eve of President Obama’s one-year anniversary in office, euphoria has turned to ennui.

Check out this afternoon’s headlines:

Gibbs: Obama ‘not pleased’ by closeness of Mass. election

Hoyer: Voters upset about GOP obstructionism, not Dem agenda

Barney Frank: ‘God Didn’t Create the Filibuster’

To all of my Tea Party friends: I think they can hear us now.

Barney is upset about the rules of the Senate? I wonder if he thinks the same thing when the traffic light in front of him turns red and there’s no cross traffic. Poor baby….. It is so frustrating to be in the adult world sometimes.

The One is “not pleased?” Really….. That might have something to do with the self-inflicted bullet hole in his foot.

Hudson: We’re on an express elevator to hell; going down!

Hudson: That’s it man, game over man, game over! What the f@#k are we gonna do now? What are we gonna do?

Hudson: Hey, maybe you haven’t been keeping up on current events, but we just got our asses kicked, pal!

    About this vindictive. From Politico

President Barack Obama plans a combative response if, as White House aides fear, Democrats lose Tuesday’s special Senate election in Massachusetts, close advisers say.

We have a local pool on the election results going for a buck. I’ve got Brown by 5.3%. People were grabbing between 8-12% this morning.

Then, when they can’t win even that way, they want to change the rules of the game.

Many fingers will be pointed when Coakley loses, but in the end, the Democrats will realize, yet again, that the Internet and talk radio need to be “taken care of”, in that Chicago manner of speaking.

They can’t have all this truth spreading, willy nilly, for anyone to see.

So, my predictions thus far on this race, if Coakley loses:
    1. Next week or shortly thereafter, some lefty (probably more than one) in the MSM will outdo Kieth Olbermann’s latest insane rant, and might even advocate violence against conservatives, and the MSM will step up the 1930′s-Germany-style hate-propaganda another couple of notches, on all venues from standup comedy to sitcoms to late-night to movies to Today/Oprah-style shows – they will make the last 8-10 years of hate-propaganda look tame and rational.

    2. More will be done to control what people can see and hear on the internet and talk radio. The fairness doctrine will be taken out and looked at again. Taxation of the internet will be looked at. Any way that anybody in our government can find to shut down free political speech will be looked at. False flag attacks are always something to watch out for, but now more than ever, since they NEED a catalyst. They have folks (KY Census worker much?) who are willing to be that “conservative wackjob” catalyst, and given that depression among Dems is higher than ever now that their Golden Boy has turned out to be everything the conservatives predicted and then some, we can expect more real-life Moby activity from folks who wanna die, and who wanna do one for the Cause.

Our first great depression that began in October 1929 and didn’t end until sometime during the Second World War started on the tail-end of a Republican administration, and it became greatly exacerbated and encouraged through the socialist and fascist measures of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Roosevelt campaigned on the notion of “change,” and that he’d turn away from Herbert Hoover’s disastrous policies. What he actually did was to take Hoover’s policies and greatly bolstered them (like Hoover’s policies on steroids).

Obama is following FDR’s playbook to the letter, and we can fully expect four years of an ever-collapsing economy and an ever-tightening of the government’s control over every aspect of our lives.
