Virginia’s Democratic-controlled state Senate passed measures Monday that would make it illegal to require individuals to purchase health insurance, a direct challenge to the party’s efforts in Washington to reform health care.

Gee. I thought it was only racist, fearmongering, right-wing fanatics who were against Obammy’s plan to do what’s best for us.

I recently asked state Rep. Betty Brown and state Speaker of the House Joe Straus if they were going to fight Washington’s power grabs. Speaker Straus indicated they would.

Unfortunately, the legislature doesn’t meet this year.

He either really believes his bs or has the ability to lie without compunction.

Both are bad.

Shout it at your town halls. Yell it through the phone and email it in all caps to your congressional criminals. Email it in all caps to your friends, neighbors, acquaintances, complete strangers, and enemies too.

Those would be my exact thoughts too. TX or FL. This state is full of left wing hate-filled liberals. Too bad we don’t have a real conservative voice in this state. Michele Bachmann has her hands full with D.C. I’ve stopped rolling my eyes and walking away when liberals (even RINO friends) try to convince me Conservative politicians and their ideas are bad for MN. I’ve educated myself on the facts, news from Malkin’s blog and stand my ground until they walk away in disgust or realize the faults of their beliefs. I don’t care if there are 100 liberals in the room, I stand my ground. The movie 300 has nothing on us minuscule Conservatives in Minnesota. Challenging liberals has become a trap shooting sport for me.

My 66 year old mother had a lung transplant 1-1/2 years ago. She had private health care insurance on a limited pension and savings. Hell, I gave up time from business, personal time and my finances to help her like a REAL MAN and like a family member is suppose to. Under Obama, she would be forced to take a pain pill and die. I recite that quote directly from Obama when anyone says ObamaCare is good for the country and the people. The seriousness of my voice and stare of my eyes usually puts a surprise look on their faces. I also note NO ONE IS DENIED MEDICAL CARE right now. Hit the emergency room and you get care. Otherwise get off your rear and call around for Health Insurance Quotes. MOST people CAN afford it… you don’t need your expensive cell phones, cable tv, fancy cars, overpriced residences and maxed out credit cards used for frivolous purchases. As Malkin has noted numerous times, the people Democrats use as examples of those who claim to be denied medical services actually have financial assets or free access to health care. Lies Lies Lies.

Mi suegra went down to Mexico for oral surgery, cheaper than getting it in this country even with the Wells Fargo dental plan.

I’ve bene inside the church my wife was baptized in, San Miguel Arcangel in Cd. Gustavo Ordaz, Tamps for a wedding of one of Tio Fito’s daughters.

He still has a house in Ordaz, Mexico doesn’t strip citizenship for becoming American. Fooled them, Tio Fito watches Fox and votes Republican. Mi suegro and his brothers and sisters all came legally when my wife’s grandfather was battling leukemia and they sent him to Houston. Everybody became US citizens back in the ’80s, but about half the family moved to Mission or La Joya, down in the Valley. I guess to be near my wife’s grandmother, who returned to her house in Mexico when my grandfather died.

When she started suffering heart failure, she wound up living with my wife’s family until she died.

She died in 1999 or 2000, right after mi cuñado Luis got out of the Marines and came back home.

Georgia’s taking it a step further than Virginia. State senator Seth Harp has introduced a Constitutional amendment to exempt Georgians from health care reform. This covers not just the insurance mandate, but the whole steaming Obamacare turd pile, and would not just be a law, but placed in the state constitution! It has a good chance of passing.

This would bring a direct constitutional challenge to Obamacare that could even kill it in SCOTUS.
