“You all mind if we dance wif yo dates?”
Sounds like some dirty laudry there.
Can be found in the same book sections along with Stephen King and H.P Lovecraft!
It would not surprise me one bit for van to be on this bho new climate board he is going to start. One thing about all this bho people, they never actually go away, they just get a new job title.
L
Wouldn’t that be the same stage where that other great pioneer in human rights Mahmoud Ahmadinejad gave such a moving and eloquent oration? – Not to mention the alma mater of the Socialist in Chief.
If you visit a sewer, you may expect to see lots of turds and experience a rather fowl smell. Just saying.

The self confessed Communist, 9/11 “truther”, and President Obama ex CZAR will fit right in at Colombia–they already hosted the Iranian Hitler there.

Is Van Jones still on the Taxpayer’s dime? Do we support this clown?

What green collar economy?! He must be projecting, or prostelytizing.
I confess, I just cannot see workers on rooftops or in a field happily whistling while they work installing Solar Panels and Wind Turbines. Maybe I have not been looking close enough. Green Collar Economy? What the hell does that mean? After all the installation is complete, the Green Collar workers go home without a job and happily eat shoe leather all the while knowing what power they could have had, but can no longer pay for, is pollution free or some such rot.
Whenever I hear the phrase “green jobs” anymore – I see in my mind’s eye the same color green that the Hamas terrorists wear.
Why is that?
Ask the Spaniards about Green Collar jobs. For every Green job, they lost 2 real ones.
WHAT GREEN JOBS? If anyone out there can tell me one green industry which produces a product that competes without subsidy, please inform me. Solar, good for heating your swimming pool, but a joke for heating your house. Wind, the perfect power source for deaf blowhards. Ocean or water currents, you can’t put a dam on a river it might hurt the fisheees, and hell no you aren’t putting any power plant on my ocean front lots. So let’s all caulk our houses!
The Green job industry gave us traffic lights which don’t melt the snow and wind turbines which won’t work in cold climates. Do they have any more bright ideas? Green jobs are all about spending something that is “green” rather than saving the environment.
Truth in advertising…

Guess we will all be making cheap necklaces and rings in the future.
What the h*ll kind of business school would actually pay a Marxist punk to lecture students on “green jobs”? What a confederacy of dunces.
Um, the only ‘green’ jobs I know of belong to greenskeepers at the local golf courses, the arborists and the groundskeepers/lawn maintenance folks I see driving around.
Just sayin’…
Speaking of hydro-electric power, the greenie meanies up here in Washington convinced the voters to list hydor-electric power as a non-renewable source of electricity and then wonder why their electric bills have gone up…
I hope he gets tough questions from smart students that understand the flaws in the whole alternative energy / green jobs thing.
Do you think he will come in an Audi TDI and be escorted by the Green Police?
The wind turbines that have been installed in MN are not turning…..it’s too cold for them.
Green is the new Red.
Rogue #3; You must have squandered much of your youth if you know the name H. P. Lovecraft. I’ve never met anyone else who knows of him & that he wrote very strange horror. Here’s a test to see if you really know your stuff. Who was Cordwainer Smith, what did he write & what is connection to the Orient? (Cue Jeopardy music)
Chew Z anyone?
I wonder if the Minutemen would like to engage in the type of free speech and righteous indignation that the leftists always champion… and rush the stage.
That is, the type of free speech and protest that was used against them at Columbia.
I’m afraid you have me there, I’ve heard his name but I don’t recall reading anything by him. Although The Planet Buyer sounds familiar to me. I’ve forgotten a lot. My tastes besides H.P. Lovecraft, was along the lines of Arthur Conan Doyle, Kipling, Frank Herbert, Ray Bradbury and a lot of Sci-Fi shorts that escape me at the moment.
I hardly ever read for pleasure anymore, but did recently pick up the complete Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy and a massive Arthur C. Clarkes book for $3. I will endeavor to read them even if it kills me.
Oh and H.G. Wells, read a lot of his stuff.
Hows about H Rider Haggard,Roger Zelazny, Phillip Jose farmer and Phillip K Dick.
Do Androids dream of electric sheep? Why yes, I believe they do.
I have the anniversary director’s cut of Blade Runner, still incredible after all these years. I wish all the old sci-fi were brought to the screen with as much attention.
The cut with the Unicorn Scene? One I watch from time to time is A.I. To this day I find that one well done
As a former boss used to say: “Follow the Yellow Brick road, and ignore the smell of manure!”
Hey, the Flim Flam Man is back I see. Well, everyone’s got to make a living, I guess.
I wonder will Valerie Jarret be joining Van the Man on his triumphant tour (just to keep him away from the smitten coeds)…?
The Van Jones/Anita Dunn Band, with their big hit Papa Ooh MAO-MAO (or should that be Mau-Mau?)
People are still using the term “green” after the climategate scandal? Slow learners.
And isn’t it rather telling the only job he can get creates nothing but hot air? Has he ever had a physical job in his life? (seriously asking, I don’t know)
And if you can stand that you should be awarded a medal.
You mean an ‘award’, like, um, a 4H ribbon? Or for his soapbox derby entry? What?
You mean ‘pioneer’ like Daniel Boone? Lewis & Clark?
I don’t get it.
The only Gree Job I recall was the guys who produced Soylent Green.
Please pass the hot sauce!
Sheesh!
Green Job
I know, I know, “Preview” is my friend!
What’s his speaking fee? WHAT’S HIS SPEAKING FEE??!!@1!
Let’s get a good look at his palm in slo-mo…what’s it say, WHAT’S IT SAY?! See that? See that! It says, “cap/trade…
emissioncuts…Marx…Republican a-holes holding us down…” The words on his other hand are pretty smeared, but I think they read, “9/11 inside job” and “Columbine white suburbanites.”*Van Jones,

They’re turning. Even on completely windless days they turn. The power company just uses power from the grid to turn the turbines so everyone thinks that wind power is so fabulous!
And everyone wonders why their energy bills go up.
All socialists do that. They just keep trying until you cave. A century of failure proves nothing!
Green Jobs. Hmm. Can Van Jones and crew tell me any “Green Collar Job” that is not in some way shape or form subsidized by the government or big Corporation. Even if it is not, if it is not the most reliable way to say, generate electricity, then it is not a job. It is a feel good job.
There are some power plants around here where the water from the lake flows down hill during the daytime to run the generators. At night, the water is pumped up hill to reload the source.
Because it is not wind or solar would they qualify as “non-renewable”?
Or it could be they are just clogged up with all the dead birds that were trying to fly south in October. Those turbines are lethal. And ineffective. And stupid. Keep trying, folks. You might get something that doesn’t kill birds or fill our landfills with mercury, or use up all our corn for fuel, or stop working if the sun doesn’t shine for a few days. Geez!
Anyone want to bet he is getting $15-25,000 or so for this appearance?

More accurate.
Old disgraced Marxist anti-American political appointees never die; they just lecture at lib infested colleges across the Country.
Green collar? Is that like ring around the collar? Is that something a little Wisk detergent can get out?
Here’s a little nostalgia for you…
