Video flashback: Obama botched “corpseman” before

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 10, 2010 01:04 PM

Turns out it wasn’t just a one-off flub. President Obama mispronounced “corpseman” before last week’s gaffe-a-thon….on October 26, 2009 during a speech to graduates of the Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida.

Reader Chris P. sends the video and e-mails: “Doesn’t Obama have any military advisors, Democrat Senators or anyone who saw the speech and heard him say ‘corpse-man?’ The mispronunciation is stark and grating to me as a former
soldier. Why didn’t anyone correct their boss? If they don’t feel empowered to speak up on something so minor what about bigger matters?”

As for Hope-a-Dope himself, his idea of what it means to be “Commander in Chief” is to revel in receiving salutes every time he gets onto or off of his private jet (a.k.a., “Air Force One”), and to stuff the ranks with homosexuals.

Nothing more can be expected of a donk in that role.

    Emperor – clothes

A small child will probably have to break it to him.

“But he has nothing on at all,” said a little child at last. “Good heavens! listen to the voice of an innocent child,” said the father, and one whispered to the other what the child had said. “But he has nothing on at all,” cried at last the whole people. That made a deep impression upon the emperor, for it seemed to him that they were right; but he thought to himself, “Now I must bear up to the end.” And the chamberlains walked with still greater dignity, as if they carried the train which did not exist.

Yeah, “so what?” The problem is that when Palin writes seven key words on her hand to remember what she wants to say (because she can speak without a teleprompter–something Obama CAN’T do), the media falls all over themselves talking about it, but when Obama can’t even READ his teleprompter correctly, he gets a pass.

So they will go out and make the same mistake over and over, and be corrected over and over.

The only way to get through to them is to tell them that unless they correct themselves, they are not going to get what they want. That’s hard to do with somebody like President Obama, who has the World on a string. Appealing to him to correct himself in order to be correct is pointless, because he “knows” that he was right all along.
