Someone needs to ask Michael Steele to start running. Yesterday. He needs to step down as RNC head and organize a campaign.

Even a Northeastern squish is better than a true believer Demonrat in the Senate, and maybe someone who can actually run the RNC might get selected.

Olympia Snowe is not a Northeastern squish. She is flat out a Demonrat, working as a mole within the caucus to cast the patina of “bipartisan” on anything truly noxious the Dems try to ram through.

Ed, can you tell me what the difference(s) in these two passages are/is? I’m confused.

Michael Steele is a squish. He would defect on many key votes in the Senate, but he would vote with the Republican caucus well over 50% of the time.

Olympia Snowe is a Democrat who pretends to be a Republican. She had a 2008 ACU rating of 12%, a third of what Louisiana Democrat Mary Landrieu had, and votes with her supposed caucus less than half the time. That’s right, she votes with Reid and the Demonrats the majority of the time.

There is a difference. A spectrum. Scott Brown will vote a lot like John McCain. Brown is from Massachusetts, I’ll accept it, best that can be hoped for. But John McCain is from Arizona, which has sent Kyl to the Senate. Kyl had a 96% rating from the ACU in 2008. Almost perfect.

So what I might be able to accept from a Northeastern Republican, who will vote correctly only a little more than half the time, I can’t accept from a Republican in “flyover country”.

I was just pointing out there is one Republican (along with Spectre, but he jumped on his own) that don’t belong, in any way, in the GOP caucus in the Senate.

SEIU thugs bullying bankers in Minnesota’s state capital today…

Local tv station report along with video
“Most of the protestors belonged to Service Employees International Union Local 26 which represents more than 4,000 janitors who clean many city buildings and downtown banks.”

SEIU Statement of their terrorist tactics
“Janitors joined students, workers, and other concerned citizens this morning as they tried to enter the bankers’ meeting to demand bank executives do the right thing, help people keep their homes, and support better jobs and a green future.”

“They have been bargaining for months with their employers, including ABM, Harvard, and Marsden…”

Their employers are NOT the banks, but cleaning companies. This has nothing to do with janitor pay. Wells Fargo was not involved in the mortgage scams. Something the SEIU terrorists neglect to mention. Most of the attending protesters were professional protesters and NOT janitors, something the reporter neglects to mention. News organizations were notified prior to bring their cameras for media exposure.
