National security nightmare: John Brennan and the notorious flying imam

He’s baaaaaack
While national security deputy John Brennan’s comments downplaying the seriousness of Gitmo jihadi recidivism earned most of the headlines this weekend, his exchange at the same event at an NYU Islamic students’ event with an infamous Muslim grievance-monger is crying out for greater exposure. It’s the subject of today’s syndicated column. Take your blood pressure medicine before reading and remember as I’ve written often on this blog:
Political correctness is the handmaiden of terrorism.
Which makes John Brennan its wet nurse.

It’s bad enough that John Brennan, President Obama’s national security deputy, thinks Gitmo jihadi recidivism is “not that bad.” But in his talk last week with Islamic law students at New York University, Brennan made even more reckless comments about our counterterrorism programs while pandering to one of the worst Muslim grievance-mongers and sharia peddlers in America.
During the question-and-answer session, Brennan welcomed a question from Omar Shahin. He identified himself as the head of the “North American Imams Federation.” What he didn’t mention was his role as the chief ringleader of the infamous flying imams. You remember them: They were the six Muslim clerics whose suspicious behavior – provocatively shouting “Allahu Akbar!” before boarding the plane, fanning out in the cabin before take-off, refusing to sit in their assigned seats, requesting seat-belt extenders, which they placed on the floor – led to their removal by a U.S. Airways crew in 2006.
In coordination with the unindicted terror co-conspirators of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Shahin and his radical delegation attempted to shake down the airline with a discrimination lawsuit and bully the citizen “John Does” who flagged the imams’ security-undermining behavior. CAIR’s then-mouthpiece Ibrahim Hooper blasted “anti-Muslim hysteria” by those who saw something and said something about the imams’ in-flight shenanigans. Shahin ranted in a teleconference strategy session in 2007 that indeed, he and his cohorts were spoiling for the incident and planning to engineer “many, many cases” to sabotage airline security efforts.
As head of the Tucson Islamic Center in Arizona (home to past jihadi dry-run plotters), Shahin preached that his followers must put Islamic sharia law above Western laws. He told the Arizona Republic that he doubted Muslims were behind the 9/11 terrorist attacks, concluding: “All of these, they make it up.” Brennan didn’t appear to know who Shahin was. Somebody around him should have briefed him: Shahin’s involvement in Hamas-linked charities and radical Wahhabi “youth groups” has earned the Jordanian-born naturalized citizen increased FBI scrutiny over the years.
Instead, Brennan treated him as just another innocent Muslim with “reasonable” concerns about the government. “We came to this country to enjoy freedom,” Shahin began with faux, flag-waving emotion. “We feel that since September 11, we aren’t enjoying these values anymore…Also, we feel that there’s a big lack of trust between Muslims’ community and our government…My question: Is there anything being done by our government to rebuild this trust?”
Instead of countering the narrative, exposing Shahin’s true intentions, and vigorously defending America’s homeland security apparatus, Brennan dutifully genuflected to the gods of political correctness. President Obama, he told the militant 9/11 inside-jobber and jihad white-washer, is “determined to put America on a strong course.”
No, not a “strong course” that includes national security profiling of Islamic radicals pretending they care about our country’s best interests. By “strong course,” Brennan assured Shahin, he meant a course towards assuaging the civil rights groups who have objected to every security program at airports, borders, train stations, and visa offices for the past nine years.
Brennan told Shahin that the post-9/11 response of the Bush administration was a “reaction some people might say was over the top in some areas” (insert indignant grievance-monger nodding and mmm-hmm-ing here) and that “in an overabundance of caution [we] implemented a number of security measures and activities that upon reflection now we look back after the heat of the battle has died down a bit we say they were excessive, okay.”
It gets worse: Brennan then went on to decry the “ignorant feelings” of Americans outraged at the jihadi attacks on American soil. And then he told Shahin and the audience of Muslim students that he “was very concerned after the attack in Fort Hood as well as the December 25 attack that all of sudden there were people who went back into this fearful position that lashed out not thinking through what was reasonable and appropriate.”
The Fort Hood jihadist slaughtered 14 innocent soldiers and an unborn baby after an Army career openly threatening the lives of our soldiers and Brennan is wringing his hands about the rest of us “lashing out” over government incompetence. He believes our true sin is not in the systemic underreacting by the military, homeland security, intel, and White House officials in charge, but in the “overreacting” of the American public.
With clueless capitulationists like Brennan in charge of our safety, who needs enemies?

The “flying imams” should have been fully interrogated and barred from airline travel. They are trouble makers, and were possibly practicing a dry run.
A better question might be: Is there anything being done by the Muslim community to rebuild this trust, other than provocatively shouting “Allahu Akbar!” before boarding planes and planning to engineer “many, many cases” to sabotage airline security efforts? Trust is not a one-sided effort.
The answer is to make Shahin famous. His picture and story should be everywhere on the internet so that sooner or later everyone recognizes him for what he is – the proverbial poop in a swimming pool. Then he can’t ask incognito asinine questions and get away with it.
You’d think President Obama’s top adviser on terrorism and homeland security, the purportedly brilliant John Brennan with his 25 years working in intelligence and counter-terrorism, would have recognized the lead Flying Imam’s face. Not only did Omar Shahin have peripheral connections with one of the 9/11 hijacker pilots, but his mug was also all over the national news for several weeks just three years ago.
Brennan, Napolitano, Gibbs, Obama….
This administration is the culmination of four decades of the philosophy from the 1960′s combined with the collectivist hatred of all that is good with the USA.
Maybe this was necessary for the people of the country to see what happens when utopian idiots control things.
My hope is that a majority of voters are still sane enough come November to crush this abomination of an administration. The adults will have a huge task ahead of them cleaning up the mess left behind by these morons. It will take decades and our children will pay the price.
Clueless? Perhaps-I would think treason is a better term. John Brennan, as with so many others of the Progressive Left, is loyal only to his gods of Political Correctness and power over the American people. We will have to sweep away the Leftist, the moderate and the weak before we can take on the mohammedan horde. That there is even such a thing as “Islamic law students at New York University” bodes ill and highlights Mr. Brennen’s treachery.
We are on our own.
Let’s waterboard John Brennan to get him to confess that he is a radical Muslim sympathizer. IDIOT PANDERING FOOL!
Where’s this backlash against peaceful Muslims Brennan’s so worried about? Have there been violent incidents galore where American Muslims have been singled out by bigoted mobs of un-thinking, un-caring “Westerners” (read Christians and Jews)? Or have we seen American-raised Muslims head for Pakistan and Yemen to be trained as terrorists, or turn against everything their country has done for them to immerse themselves in hateful ideology and bloodlust? What a great country where a faux psychiatrist can openly express his jihadist sympathies while in the military, even seek war crimes charges against his patients, then in a cowardly act of defiance against all basic human values, gun many innocent, unarmed people down for his corrupted interpretation of religion. Oh, aren’t we just a bunch of vigilantes, though? Consider the fact that we didn’t even shoot that bastard to death, we just wounded him. Now we’re treating him before we try him and put him to death as he so justly deserves. Assuming Obama doesn’t pardon him.
We’re becoming just like Europe; scared to offend or upset any moslem. To them, it’s a victory. They know they can’t defeat the West militarily, so they defeat the culture. So far, they are succeeding very well.
Both our friends and enemies alike are anxiously awaiting November. Our friends hope we wake up and our enemies hope we hit the snooze button.
It is not a matter of IF we get attacked by our enemies, it is a matter of WHEN. Remember, they only have to get lucky once. We have to get lucky ALL THE TIME.
Brennan had a long career in the CIA, and in 2004 was appointed by Bush as the first head of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC). Sadly, his pandering to Muslims is nothing new; it merely continues the policy of the Bush administration.
McCain & Lieberman should call for Brennan’s firing in a joint news conf.
The ‘Flying Imam’ incident highlights the deliberate attempt by the radical Muslims to put America in a defensive position as regards to the accommodation of Islam. It doesn’t inspire confidence when the National Security Deputy totally buys into that premise. It’s also quite disconcerting that the likes of Shahin have calculated that they can get away with this provocation and turn it to their advantage. We are being ‘protected’ by an Administration of Fools who are letting the other side set the ground rules.
Does everyone get it now? It’s pretty clear what this administration believes. The people who are part of the enemy or support the enemy of the United States have more rights than the people of the United States. Their safety and their rights are more important than ours. The Muslims and their jihab loving, blood shedding ways are more important than our ways and this administration will fight for their rights at the expense of protecting the American people.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — The CEO of a company whose employee is accused of improperly looking at the passport files of presidential candidates is a consultant to the Barack Obama campaign, a source said Saturday.
John O. Brennan, president and CEO of the Analysis Corp., advises the Illinois Democrat on foreign policy and intelligence issues, the source said.
Brennan briefed the media on behalf of the campaign this month.
The executive is a former senior CIA official and former interim director of the National Counterterrorism Center.

Key witness in passport fraud case fatally shot
April 19, 2008

A key witness in a federal probe into passport information stolen from the State Department was fatally shot in front of a District church, the Metropolitan Police Department said yesterday.
Lt. Quarles Harris Jr., 24, who had been cooperating with a federal investigators, was found late Thursday night slumped dead inside a car, in front of the Judah House Praise Baptist Church in Northeast, said Cmdr. Michael Anzallo, head of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
Cmdr. Anzallo said a police officer was patrolling the neighborhood when gunshots were heard, then Lt. Harris was found dead inside the vehicle, which investigators would describe only as a blue car…
Maybe if more moderate American Muslims spoke out about against the flying Imams and others, people wouldn’t think that they approve of the bad seeds.
On November 4, 2008, our country’s national security was weakened. How many more days until we vote them out of office?
Brennan should join the resignation tsunami. Clueless.
Great article Michelle. And you’re right, my blood pressure rose quite a bit reading it.
PC is not only the hand maiden of terrorism as you say, it is the ticking time bomb in our Country and the world. It renders otherwise intelligent people (even the higher brass in the military as we saw after the Fort Hood massacre) incapable of making reasoned judgments, even at the cost of other people’s lives.
Brennan is another in a long list of uber-morons that care only about being in power, and will kiss the a*ss of any person or group that will help him keep it. Sickening. But Brennan will just bury the Obama administration more with every stupid statement that he makes.
“We’re very sorry we tried to defend ourselves and defeat you. Very, very sorry. Please don’t behead me when you guys takeover, okay?”
Used to be we’d second guess ourselves years after the victory was secured:
Was bombing Dresden necessary?
Were the Atomic bombs detonated as a show of force to the USSR?
and so on.
Now, our own government whose primary responsibility is to protect us from the bad guys kowtows to the enemy in public!

Brennan is putting us all in danger. The man is an ignorant fool. I’d like to see what he would do if Shahin and his cohorts ran another Allah Akbar routine on a commercial flight he and his family happened to be on.
Then this from Shahin:
Hey, if he wants to pull that crap on a flight I’m on, I will more than happy to plunge a steel ball point pen into his jugular to protect myself and my fellow passengers.
That’s what I advocate in that situation.
We know TEAM OBAMA by their actions. They seek crisis. They lie.
If you want to stop “radical” Islam in America, then you have to stop Islam because it is the same thing.

A Proposed Constitutional Amendment
Background and justification to Amendment 28
Whereas Religion is defined as an institution dedicated to improving social conscience and promoting individual and societal spiritual growth in a way that is harmless to others not participating in or practicing the same;
Whereas the United States of America was founded on the ideals of individual rights, including the individual right to practice one’s religion of choice, or no religion, and that there would be no compulsion of religion, nor state sanctioned religion, nor a “religious test” for participation in the body politic;
Whereas Islam includes a complete political and social structure, encompassed by its religious law, Sharia, that supersedes any civil law and that Islam mandates that no secular or democratic institutions are to be superior to Islamic law;
Whereas Islam preaches that it and it alone is the true religion and that Islam will dominate the world and supplant all other religions and democratic institutions;
Whereas Saudi Arabia, the spiritual home of Islam does not permit the practice of any other religion on its soil and even “moderate” Muslims states such as Turkey and Malaysia actively suppress other religions;
Whereas Islam includes as its basic tenet the spread of the faith by any and all means necessary, including violent conquest of non-believers, and demands of its followers that they implement violent jihad (holy war) against those un-willing to convert or submit to Islam, including by deception and subversion of existing institutions;
Whereas on 9/11/2001 19 Muslim hijackers acting in the name of Islam killed 3,000 Americans, and numerous other acts of terrorism have been directed at the American people around the world;
Whereas representatives of Islam around the world including Osama Bin Laden (architect of 9/11), the government of Iran including Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, HAMAS, Hezbollah, and other Islamic groups have declared jihad (war) on America, and regularly declare that America should cease to exist;
Whereas there is no organized Islamic opposition to violent proponents of Islam;
Therefore: Islam is not a religion, but a political ideology more akin to Fascism and totally in opposition to the ideals of freedom as described in the United States Constitution, especially the Bill of Rights.
Be it resolved that the following Amendment to the Constitution be adopted:
Article I
The social/political/ideological system known around the world as Islam is not recognized in the United States as a religion.
The practice of Islam is therefore not protected under the 1st Amendment as to freedom of religion and speech.
Article II
As representatives of Islam around the world have declared war, and committed acts of war, against the United States and its democratic allies around the world, Islam is hereby declared an enemy of the United States and its practice within the United States is now prohibited.
Article III
Immediately upon passage of this Amendment all Mosques, schools and Muslim places of worship and religious training are to be closed, converted to other uses, or destroyed. Proceeds from sales of such properties may be distributed to congregations of said places but full disclosure of all proceeds shall be made to an appropriate agency as determined by Congress. No compensation is to be offered by Federal or State agencies for losses on such properties however Federal funding is to be available for the demolishing of said structures if other disposition cannot be made.
The preaching of Islam in Mosques, Schools, and other venues is prohibited. The subject of Islam may be taught in a post high school academic environment provided that instruction include discussion of Islam’s history of violence, conquest, and its ongoing war on democratic and other non-Islamic values.
The preaching or advocating of Islamic ideals of world domination, destruction of America and democratic institutions, jihad against Judaism, Christianity and other religions, and advocating the implementation of Sharia law shall in all cases be punishable by fines, imprisonment, deportation, and death as prescribed by Congress. Violent expressions of these and other Muslim goals, or the material support of those both in the United States and around the world who seek to advance these Islamic goals shall be punishable by death.
Muslims will be denied the opportunity to immigrate to the United States.
Article IV
Nothing in this amendment shall be construed as authorizing the discrimination against, of violence upon, nor repudiation of the individual rights of those Americans professing to be Muslim. The individual right of conscience is sacrosanct and the practice of Islam within the privacy of home and self is strictly protected to the extent that such individuals do not violate the prohibitions described in Article III.

Correction: Shahin, CAIR, et al. didn’t attempt to shake down US Airways, they succeeded in doing so. The airline settled out of court late last year:
http://www.weeklystandard.com/Content/Public/Articles/000/000/017/148tyfxg.asp
several above noted that “moderate ” muslims say and do nothing when their fellow muslims provoke and murder innocent civilians. this leads me to the inescapable conclusion that there are no “moderate muslims”, they are all terrorists and provocateurs which need to be returned to the toilet from whence they and their religion springs. The more we keep pretending they are not on a quest to take over the world, the greater danger we face from these zealots. muslim nations don’t allow the practice of nonmuslim religions, why do we? i’m a firm believer in playing by the rules the other guy plays by, so if saudi arabia doesn’t allow christian churches, we should not allow muslim temples. if china pegs it’s currency to the dollar to keep it’s products prices low and ours high, impose a tarriff on all chinese products to balance that situation. if the world wants the u.s. military to protect their cowardly asses, they should pay for that expense fully, eh europe, korea, thailand, okinawa, et al.

The U.S. failure to stop the Iranian nuke work and the continuous Jihad–1400 years so far–will result in us losing some of our cities in the future.

Brennan is just one of the O’Bambi collection of morons that must go,and hopefully before we pay dearly with our lives. Our fortunes are already suffering, our prestige and respect are seriously damaged, and our lives are in jeopardy thanks to this pitiful administration.
Quick question for Brennan, when was the last time a muslim person was “selected” for additional screening by TSA?
Oh that is right TSA is too busy demanding that 4 year old boys with leg braces remove their leg braces for screening….
Yep TSA has the security threat all figured out…/sarc
Where oh where is Ziggy Stardust(trippin today)? No argument? I’m always amazed in seeing how you “intellectual elites” can twist an event in your mind that is so obvious to us simple minded conservative/tea baggers but to you…We just aren’t smart enough to “understand”. Like Health care. The public is too stupid to understand so Obambi said he has to explain it better. It has nothing to do with WE DON’T WANT IT…How will you twist this one Zig???
Yeah, what’s that all about? Like Burglers in Locksmith school…
BTW – anyone who didn’t read Lucius Vorenus #18 above, please do so.
“Propaganda must not investigate the truth objectively and, in so far as it is favourable to the other side, present it according to the theoretical rules of justice; yet it must present only that aspect of the truth which is favourable to its own side. (…) The receptive powers of the masses are very restricted, and their understanding is feeble. On the other hand, they quickly forget. Such being the case, all effective propaganda must be confined to a few bare essentials and those must be expressed as far as possible in stereotyped formulas. These slogans should be persistently repeated until the very last individual has come to grasp the idea that has been put forward. (…) Every change that is made in the subject of a propagandist message must always emphasize the same conclusion. The leading slogan must of course be illustrated in many ways and from several angles, but in the end one must always return to the assertion of the same formula.”
Mein Kampf
We don’t need these enemies, but they sure do need people like Brennan.
You’re kidding right? I am getting a lot of free space without having to pay rent in yet another poster’s head.
The operative question from the post which I will address is, ” . . . Is there anything being done by our government to rebuild this trust?”
My response would have been to say that trust works both ways. It is incumbent upon the Muslim community to do what it can to overcome this situation. There must be loud and public advocates from the Muslim community who decry terrorism.
Look back to our recent history. During the Civil Rights era. There was M.L. King and Malcom X. Where is the Muslim M.L. King? How was each recieved by the general public? Which one was successful in using their approach?
Around the world there has been Ghandi, Mandela and the Dalai Lama. Where are those people from the Muslim community?
Yes, there is a trust problem and there are several roads to take that addresses that issue, but what road is the Muslim community taking, or not taking?
Pres Bush and Pres Obama have repeatedly stated that our efforts are not against Muslims, but against terrorists. The trust will increase when the Muslim community fully adopts and endorses this message, without hedging or taking tangents to other issues.
It isn’t only about what the Government is doing to rebuild trust, but what the Muslim community is doing to rebuild trust.
Now why would an innocent, law-abiding citizen want to do that?
That depends on if you’re abiding U.S. law or Sharia law, init?
How many more dots do you need before you “Connect the dots…”
Rogue
Speaking of that, didn’t some Islamic group recently issue a fatwa against full body scans? I have a simple solution, no Muslims are allowed to fly. Period. I mean, what did the Prophet say about flying? It must have had some reference to flying carpets, or some other nonsense.
Just how radical are Obama and his friends?
Friends like the Marxist, unrepentent terrorist Bill Ayers who bombed the U.S. Capitol, gave his children Islamic names, and just so happened to have the following words printed in a famous newspaper on the same day and in the city that was bombed by hijacked airliners:
Brennan’s gotta go.
I will write my elected representatives to call for his dismissal.
I invite you all to do likewise, and tell your friends, neighbors, and family how dangerous this moke is.
Each and every time some radical mooslum suggests we replace our western law with sharia law, we need to grab them by their shaggy, flea-infested beard and drag them immediately to the nearest airport and ship them back to their country of origin…oh, after repealing their visas and putting them on the no-fly list. These a$$holes do not belong in our free society. They contribute NOTHING and only mean us harm. Why are they even here??? We have to purge this country of the vermin and fumigate before we can begin to heal.
Brennan is a useful idiot. He belongs in jail, of course. But the worst that will happen to him is he will resign on some weekend and no one will even know about it for days. The reason will be family issues, or health, or something really lame. Whatever the reason, it will be good riddance, but definitely not punitive enough! His resignation will be coming any day now…mark my words.

Excuse me Zyg but what does this gov’t owe the US citizen Muslims besides equal rights? It is ALL on them and Obambi(Did you vote for this idiot?) kowtowing to them on his own and thru his politically incorrect useful idiots is not what is needed. As has been stated previously, we as a country have been repeatedly attacked by these animals and have not retaliated in kind, aka roaming the streets for all Muslims to beat up…But if our President continues on this appeasement strategy, the Muslim M. L. King doesn’t show up, and these terrorist attacks keep happening, there will be a problem. I hope it doesn’t come to this and am not advocating it but there is only so much a reasonable person can stand…The whole reason for the Tea Parties is just that. I’ve been to several, including the 9/12 march in DC and these are reasonable people, smart people, common sense people and they are not usually out to protest, but Bambi has woken a sleeping giant.
By the way, the Mein Kampf quote was spot on Southpaw. This Marxist president and his Saul Alinsky tactics are not much different than Adolf’s. He’s just doing it stealth. And the sheep voted for this/him but even they are waking up…
And in private these Imama’s are laughing at the “stupid Americans”, i.e. John Brennan, Janet Nappy, BHO, etc.
Are we just going to lie down and surrender trying to be SO NICE that we stink? This is the greatest country on the face of the globe and ever since the “progressives” have discovered they could win other nuts votes by insulting our country and our intelligence they have escalated the lies until they have our enemies defeating us because we are so damn politically correct. Our veterans have all died in vain if we don’t man up and defend our country not only on the battlefield but by word and deed. Obama and his cohorts apologizing and kissing every jerk’s pattotie have to GO!
It isn’t only about what the Government is doing to rebuild trust, but what the Muslim community is doing to rebuild trust.
Those are my words and they reflect the construction of the question.
The Government owes no more, or no less, than it owes any other citizen.
[Note: I used your construction of the question to provide an answer, though the word 'owe' is not how I believe the Government/citizen relationship works.]
It is on all of us and Pres Obama (no) is doing no more, or no less, with regard to political correctness towards Muslims as had Pres Bush.
I am troubled by people who would roam the streets for Muslims to beat up because of a terrorist attack. I am old school (and a believer in the rule of law) and would only strike at those who have struck me.
And, I am not aware of the appeasement strategy to which you refer. Pres Obama has said repeatedly we should deal with those who have and will do us harm.
Reasonable people do not roam the streets to beat up people who have done them no harm.
Well, MM just did thread on the start of the Tea Party movement, and it is primarily concerned with fiscal responsibility. That is not to say there aren’t other concerns.
What must be acknowledged is that much of the fiscal irresponsibility began with the previous Administration. Where was the sleeping giant then?
Yep, take Pres Obama to task over what he is doing, but don’t forget paying for a wars on borrowed money (yes, our grandchildren will be paying for them), keeping the war off the books and out off the budget, not raising enough revenue to pay for the prescription drug plan (or, even allowing it to pass in the first place), or failing to use the veto when conservative principles have been violated.
The credibilty of politicians is often judged by their consistentcy and the Tea Party should be judged the same way. When there is talk of fiscal irresponsibility take everyone to task. Credibility is at stake.
John Brennan was also the guy, according to Michael Isikoff, who was briefed (pun intended) by the Saudis on the crotch-bombing technique in OCTOBER.
He had time to go out after the panty-bomber attack and criticize Dick Cheney, and has time to fiddle around with these guys, but not to prepare our national security infrastructure for known terror techniques.
FAIL.
You know what’s really a National security nightmare?
A usurper is acting as Commander in Chief!
On July 25th, 1787, John Jay wrote to George Washington, who was then Presiding Officer of the Constitutional Convention:
John Jay became the First Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, and it was this letter that caused the following requirements to exist in our Constitution…
The suggestion that “a strong check to the admission of Foreigners into the administration of our national Government” led to:
and
The suggestion that the Consitution “declare expressly that the Commander in Chief of the American Army shall not be given to nor devolve on, any but a natural born Citizen” led to:
No person who is a citizen or subject of a foreign country (i.e., a “foreigner”) is allowed to hold the office of Repreresentative, Senator, or President/Vice-President.
Both the age requirement and the citizenship requirement increase from Representative to Senator and again from Senator to President and Vice-President.
In order to be a member of the House of Representatives, you must have been a U.S. citizen (and not a citizen or subject of a foreign country) for at least 7 years.
In order to be a Senator, you must have been a U.S. citizen (and not a citizen or subject of a foreign country) for at least 9 years.
In order to be President or Vice-President, you must have been a U.S. citizen (and not a citizen or subject of a foreign country) since birth.
It’s a matter of national security. The Commander-in-Chief of our military must never be someone who has ever been a subject of a foreign country.
Obama’s own “Fight the Smears” web site admitted he had “Kenyan citizenship” preceeded by his British subjecthood!
That disqualifies him from being eligible to hold the office of President and Commander in Chief.
It is not a “birther” conspiracy to say that Obama was born a British subject and acquired Kenyan citizenship when Kenya became independent. Obama’s own campaign web site openly spoke of “his Kenyan citizenship“.
It is a national security nightmare that someone born a foreign subject (and who admits to holding foreign citizenship as an adult over the age of 18) is being allowed to usurp the office of Commander in Chief.
As United States Senator, Obama actively campaigned for his favored candidate in a foreign country. That favored candidate just so happened to support Muslim interests, and when that candidate lost the election, there were riots where Muslims burned churches and many people were killed. To calm the riots, the Kenyan government arranged to share power with Obama’s favored candidate.
Obama not only violated the Logan Act but also revealed the dangers of allowing him to command our military.
It truly is a national security nightmare.
Anyone who suggests we replace our law with sharia law is:
Whether they are foreign or domestic makes no difference. They are enemies of our Constitution, and they have no right to live in this country. If they are in this country, they are guilty of treason, and should be dealt with accordingly.
People in this country have a right to worship as they choose, and that includes Islam, but the minute they advocate sharia law, they become enemies of our Constitution and must either leave this country or face charges of treason.
This oath must not be taken lightly:
In 1784, Congress authorized American diplomats John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson to negotiate with the Muslim terrorists. [18] Negotiations proceeded, and in 1786, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson candidly asked the Ambassador from Tripoli the motivation behind their unprovoked attacks against Americans. What was the response?
Wow…… 1786. Didn’t take long for Muslim extremists to start hating Americans.
I like George’s thought on the subject.
Wait a minute….
Had we ousted Iraq from Kuwait yet?
Had we helped establish Israel yet?
Were we in Afghanistan yet?
Was George Bush the president yet?
Because last I heard from liberals, those are the only reasons Islamists hate us and want us all dead, dead, dead.
Another example of the enemy.
Deport him, do not let anymore Muslims into the country, and any Muslims preaching hate against the USA should be deported, with the Mosque they worshiped allah at destroyed.
Following Mohammed means making war on the Infidel, or you are Apostate.
Did ziggy take over for LGM?
No.

Muslim jihad against Christians and Jews is as old as Islam.
1786 wasn’t the start of such unprovoked attacks. Just put that date into perspective. Prior to 1776, any attack against “American” ships was an attack against Great Britain, and that country had a very formidable navy. During the American Revolution, we had the support of the French navy. Once the war was over, however, we had no navy at all… only commercial ships. The Barbary Pirates (Muslims) recognized that weakness and attacked. They took our sailors captive, and expected ransom and tribute payments in return.
That is why George Washington said, “Would to Heaven we had a navy able to reform those enemies to mankind – or crush them into non-existence.”
And that is why John Adams started the U.S. Navy.

Liberals can’t handle the truth that Jihadists have always believed that the Koran instructed them to war against those who do not accept sharia law, and that any jihadist who died in a jihad was sure to go to Paradise (with their 72 virgins).
Sniveling j@cka$$! How many Americans no longer enjoy their freedom because of your little flying stunt?
If I was a New World Order New Age fool who wanted to destroy the culture of the west, I would import Muslims, and any other third world Marxist I could by the millions.
Let’s see. Illegal aliens on the sugar tit by the millions, and moon god worshipers planning murder, hate, and more murder. Yep, the destruction of culture is on going. Then, throw in Homo marriage for good measure.
Our government is full of Treason, and should be tried for it.
Oy. I doubt they would be interested in rockets that don’t blow up.
How many space agencies in Muslim countries?
The system worked!

*The PC nonsense coming from this administration is astounding; Even while having blood on their hands(Hasan) they continue with this foolishness; Bush was bad enough with his “religion of peace” bovine scatology!
*Right now this country needs a Churchill who is not timid about the truth, and that truth is, we are in a holy war against a 7th century invented religion of death cult savages!
Prejudice may be reality to the person perceiving it yet the 2,976 murdered by Muslims on 9/11 were really real.
If Imam Omar Shahin did not wish to be perceived to be a terrorist, he should not have acted on November 20, 2006 similarly to 19 Muslims who mass-murdered. Mr. Shahin ought to stop acting now like a living martyr, claiming to have been mistreated when he brought it upon himself by his own actions, and suing the very people he scared the hell out of.
I read the same story, and immediately thought no Muslim will then be screened using the full body scanner.
Those doing the screening, and those supervising the screening will think it’s easier to avoid the blizzard of civil rights lawsuits by just waving them through.
And what do you expect your credibility to be seen as when you ignore the fact that the left has been in control of Congress since 2006 larding up every spending bill they passed? or when you ignore the complicity Dodd, Frank and others had in the financial meltdown due to the mortgage mess they created?
I don’t expect to give Bush a pass, and many others here have called out his spending. I also know many others have called you out on the same things I mentioned above that the left is responsible for, yet you continue to ignore it.
You shouldn’t mention credibility when yours is zero.
Somehow it wouldn’t surprise to me if his attack on Cheney got wider coverage in the press corpse than his briefing…and FAILURE to act on it.
I have ignored nothing, and yes the Democrats have been in control of Congress since 2006.
I was responding to a specific comment by another poster, who was ignoring irresponsible governance by suggesting it began in Jan ’09.
Did you read the firt line of the paragraph before the one that you cut and pasted? The paragraph that begins, ‘Yep take Pres Obama to task . . .’
Moreover, read the paragraph that you cut and pasted. Did I say Republicans are judged by their consistentcy, Democrats are judged by their consistentcy, or ‘politicians’ are judged by their consistentcy?
Read the paragraph again. Did I say take Republicans to task, take Democrats to task, or ‘take everyone to task’?
Again, I was responding to the post of another and the only individual either of us mentioned by name was Pres Obama. Had Sen Dodd, Rep Frank, or any other single individual politician been mentioned, they would have been called out, too.
It is called reading comprehension. Try it.
Agreed, no one should get a pass.
Read this comment. Read it. When something is said or an issue is raised, I acknowledge it. In responding to what anoter poster said, I cut and pasted their words, and gave my opinion. I did not single anyone out beyond who the poster mentioned.
Am I supposed to mention every single Democrat and Republican, or can I just say ‘politicians’ which includes both.
If you have called the left out and/or asked me a question I have responded. I do not ignore anything. Because I have been taken to task over the length of my posts it is difficult to accept that I ignore anything.
How could you possibly say my credibility is zero when you continue to fail and fully comprehend what I write?
Now, your credibility is on the line. Will you address the questions I asked?
Gee, it would’ve been nice to have a big flashing red-alert up there with the main banner to signal when you’re appearing on a TV interview!

Isn’t that just another word for “traitors”? We do still hang them, don’t we? If not…
Brennan says….
I’d like him to substantiate those claims. I suspect he can’t.
.
Certainly Brennan and his crowd are traitors.
Their propagandizing follows a predictable pattern.
One of the primary components of their method is to drop, to ignore the context in which things happen, in order to reframe them and make them appear as something other than what they are.
So, according to them, jihaddi acts are not happening in the context of a worldwide mohammedan supremacy movement which has expressed itself in thousands of lethal attacks around the world.
Those acts, we are told, are to be regarded as isolated criminal acts. As if they happened in a perfectly peaceful and normal world.
Everything is normal, regular, nothing is out of the ordinary. Nothing new is going on. Everything is politically and militarily as it was 20 or 50 or a hundred years ago.
So we are to regard say, the Ft. Hood jihaddist as we would have regarded a random psycho-killer in 1950.
NO context. No popular ideology to which he subscribed. No approval or encouragement from believers in that ideology. In fact, no connection to the outside world whatsoever.
And the great irony is that all we have to do to resist this sort of poisonous treason is to say, NO, I won’t ignore everything else going on in the world.
They can only ask that you turn off your mind.
And all you have to do is say no.
And then act appropriately.
