Old Van Jones: W. is a crackhead! New Van Jones: We need more civility in politics

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 23, 2010 01:53 PM

Out with the old

And in with the new

Partial transcript of Van Jones’ remarks to students at Philip Exeter Academy in NH yesterday:

JONES: It’s just a food fight all the time…’I'm right and you’re wrong.’ We gotta have a different approach. And it’s gotta be okay to believe in different parties. But at the end of the day, we can’t treat each other in ways that leaves it hard for our kids to be friends. I’m never gonna say anything in public about any leader — media, political, or any other leader — I will never say anything publicly about any other leader that will make it hard for our kids to be friends. Doesn’t mean we won’t disagree. But you’ve gotta conduct yourself in a way that we’re one country, conduct yourself in one way that we’re one people, and that even when we disagree, at the end of the day, we’re gonna have to figure out how to work together, live together, be together, and so I try to have those kind of approaches starting at the local level…

What a phony huckster slinging green-tinted bull at high school students. Like Joe Wilson says: You lie!

Which schools will he be bringing his eco-circus to next?

Update: NAACP to honor Jones as a “national treasure.”

Van Jones will agree with you as long as you think government’s job is to take money from rich people.

You thought I was going to add . . . and give it to poor people. But that’s not the philosophy.

The philosophy according to Communists like Jones is that the government owns everything. He thinks spending other peoples’ money is the government’s job.

Civility to him is he robs you (through the government), and you agree that the government should rob you.

. . . so the kids can play together and all.

It’s the same old tactics. If we’re in the majority you have to get along and if you’re in power then the most patirotic thing you can do is dissent and ‘get in their face’. It’s a symptom of the Liberal Disease.

Nice, classy, well thought-out answer. Typical progressive response. Anyone to the right of radical are assholes. What else is new? Unfortunately for Van Jones, he is not only an asshole, but his head is permanently stuffed up there. Can we just deport him to Cuba now?? He is a traitor and doesn’t deserve to live in the United State of America. I want him gone.

Classic passive-aggressive behavior from a leftist: perfectly comfortable engaging in name-calling, race-baiting and character assassination, but if you shine a light on them they become Rodney King: “Can’t we all just get along?”
