The old “coconut” smear: Another white liberal bigmouth with race issues
A few readers asked me why I hadn’t commented on MSNBC’s latest attack on the Tea Party as RAAAAACIST. Been there, done that. Over and over and over again. (The Dallas Tea Party posted an excellent rejoinder video here.)
The whole right-wingers-are-racist and minority-conservatives-are-race-traitors-wrapped-in-color thing is getting really, really old. Staler than last year’s Halloween candy, Diane Keaton’s wardrobe, and the Smothers Brothers’ show. It’s gotten so old that yet another white liberal bigmouth has now resurrected a smear I first heard in college: “Coconut.” (See here and here for my past musings on the vile bile minority conservatives have put up with over the years.)
Newsbusters reports:
MSNBC and CNBC contributor — and professed Charlie Crist admirer — Donny Deutsch used racially charged language on Monday night, smearing Republican senatorial candidate Marco Rubio as a “coconut.” Deutsch appeared on HLN’s Joy Behar Show and used the word, which both the New York Times and Urban Dictionary define as a “person who is tan on the outside” and “white on the inside.” Rubio is the son of Cuban exiles. Deutsch employed the derogatory term while hitting politicians with no experience. He noted the success of such candidates and derided, “…You almost need that blank piece of paper. That’s the new model. Like, you know, this coconut Rubio down in Florida.”
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Brown on the outside, white on the inside. What is this? Sophomore year at Oberlin? Guess this bottom-feeder didn’t get Van Jones’ civility memo yet.

On a related note: Jon Stewart mocks CPAC as a “festival of whites.” And I’m sure the studio audience and demographic breakdowns for his nightly shows are a veritable rainbow of fruit flavors.

Quick primer for those of you unfamiliar with the “coconut” insult:
If you are a conservative with Latino/Pacific Islander/Filipino heritage, you’re a coconut (brown on the outside, white on the inside).
If you are a conservative with Asian heritage, you’re a Twinkie or banana (yellow on the outside, white on the inside).
And if you are a conservative who happens to be black, you are an Oreo (black on the outside, white on the inside).
Okay, who is getting hungry?

Never heard “coconut” before. Deuthch, Stewart, what have you…all bottom feeders that connect well with the single digit IQ set. A liberal calling conservatives racist…yawnnnnnnnnnn…. Along tonight’s theme (and this is a true story), a friend of mine here in Arkansas, who is black, told me that his aunt once made the best bbq he ever ate. He asked her what it was… “boy, you eatin’ coon!”.

Why is it always white bourgeoisie liberals that are the biggest racists?
I live in the uber-liberal Northwest and I noticed a couple of things. First, they are largely Caucasian, most either have never met, worked with, or had as close friends any minorities. It’s rather funny to watch them react to meeting a black man. It like they just discovered an alien lifeform. Liberals are the biggest idiots I have ever met.

Liberalism is a disease. It’s proven daily on national communications networks for all to see. As the disease progresses (no pun intended), the victim tends to become more shrill, agressive, and/or violent in nature. Other symptoms include, looking for a “cause”, creating a “cause” in a vacuum, and blaming others for the created cause, real or imagined. These poor cretins hate themselves and everyone else so much… it’s sad. It would be better if they just vaporized after reaching critical mass.
Why not well before that, so that they would not have the opportunity to cause so much trouble?

(The picture was actually taken at the Denver Capitol Tea Party). I was thrilled to see his picture on Noel Shepard’s Newsbusters.com. This video made it on to YouTube, Ann Coulter.com, and some others. Hurrah! The Tea Party Lives and MANY people who happen to NOT be white are participating!

Nice-if we can believe it.
Sadly, 63% of Hispanics in Texas said they were Democrat. Conservative to them means honest and strong families, which ironically, democrat policies oppose.

I repeat, the political party of racism is the democRATS. They want to keep people (black, white, yellow, red) on the government plantation where they are reliant on the government rather than themselves.
They will play the racial card any time they can but conveniently ignore it when one of their own is caught in the act.
Funny we all have to be White hate filled people, or enlightend yet hate filled coloreds. Never mind I seen plenty and in the case of the Asian community the majority of them fallow conservitive views, same with Mid Easterners at least socially.
Ah well call me silly but I’m sure we all are red on the inside…
I must be the few lucky ones because I never got labeled sell out by other blacks.
