Al Gore is not responsible for those alleged global warmicides

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 1, 2010 02:50 PM

After a year’s worth of unhinged lefties blaming conservative bloggers, pundits, and activists for every crime spree on the planet, it would be just deserts to blame Al Gore for the alleged global warming-inspired murders reported in the UK Daily Mail today. But count me out of that game. For starters, the story is sketchy:

A seven-month-old baby girl survived three days alone with a bullet in her chest beside the bodies of her parents and toddler brother.

Argentines Francisco Lotero, 56, and Miriam Coletti, 23, shot their children before killing themselves after making an apparent suicide pact over fears about global warming.

Their son Francisco, two, died instantly after being hit in the back.

But their unnamed daughter cheated death after the bullet from her dad’s handgun missed her vital organs.

Paramedics rushed her to hospital covered in blood when police alerted by worried neighbours discovered the massacre three days later.

…Her parents said they feared the effects of global warming in a suicide note discovered by police.

I want to see the note. Were the references to global warming just one small part of a lengthy, nutball rant? Is this another bizarre, twisted hoax a la the Sparkman census scheme?

In any case, Al Gore is responsible for enough fraud and misery without overreaching and laying this strange case at his feet.

Leave the hysterical smear-mongering to Frank Rich, Andrew Sullivan, Paul Krugman, and Keith Olbermann.

Godspeed to the baby girl. She is the same age as my oldest daughter.

The increased earthquate activity is the result of global warming. As the earth warms due to man’s irresponsible behavior, the warmth causes the earth’s crust to expand. When tectonic plates are in contact with each other the expanded size of the plates causes increased stress, thus increasing the number and magnitude of earthquakes.

Read this speech by Dr. Michael Crichton. He too was dismayed at the amount of money poured into the non-scientific consensus that is global warming. He also thought we should be spending it on more appropriate things. Here’s an excerpt.

What is wrong with us that we ignore this human misery and focus on events a hundred years from now? What must we do to awaken this phenomenally rich, spoiled and self-centered society to the issues of the wider world? The global crisis is not 100 years from now — it is right now. We should be addressing it. But we are not. Instead, we cling to the reactionary and antihuman doctrines of outdated environmentalism and turn our backs to the cries of the dying and the starving and the diseased of our shared world.

    All too true.

People like Gore and Strong truly believe that it is their responsibility to act as the stewards for earth and that includes ‘CULLING the herd’ to preserve resources.

Because they put themselves in charge – of course then THEY are not subject to the culling. Besides wanting to send us back to the stone age while they continue to live in luxury, their attack includes killing off the third world to prevent them from improving their way of life and subsequently ‘exploiting’ their resources the way we have. To Gore and Strong – humans have become a VIRUS on earth that needs to be controlled to save the planet (caution – language).

, I’m sure they will get around to blaming the Chilean earthquake on global warming.

Not yet; however, they claim the earth’s axis has changed, shortening the day. What we need to do is get congress, now, to pass bills spending billions to “study” it, by campaign contributors and special interest groups, who will blame the U.S. only for this, and encouraging more government takeovers.

But of course we are all told over and over – weather isn’t climate…

…until it’s the hottest winter or summer on record. In which case, weather IS climate. Right, Al?

More likely, these “parents” would have found another reason to kill themselves and their kids, if it wasn’t global warmiing. Perhaps, it would have been the Middle East, or health. Both of them were mentally disturbed. Global warming was simply the excuse.

This murder/suicide is sad. The kids had no choice in the matter and certainly did not commit suicide. Is Al Gore to blame? I don’t begin to know but I do know that he’s become bloated and fat, like a huge leech sucking blood out of its victim.

When I lived in Kalifornika, you could see bumper stickers saying something to the effect of “don’t bring more lives into an already crowded Earth” or some such nonsense.

My answer to that was: “Well, you can always leave Earth if you don’t like it.” Don’t think anyone took me up on it, though.

Same thing with Goracle Warming: don’t like it, leave the Earth.

“Is our climate changing? The succession of temperate summers and open winters through several years, culminating last winter in the almost total failure of the ice crop** throughout the valley of the Hudson, makes the question pertinent.

    Washington Post, Nov. 2, 1922:

“The Arctic Ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer and in some places the seals are finding the water too hot,” according to a Commerce Department report published by the Washington Post.

New York Times, May 30, 1937:

Warming Arctic Climate Melting Glaciers Faster, Raising Ocean Level, Scientist Says – “A mysterious warming of the climate is slowly manifesting itself in the Arctic, engendering a “serious international problem,” Dr. Hans Ahlmann, noted Swedish geophysicist, said today.

San Jose Mercury News, June 11, 1986:

A global warming trend could bring heat waves, dust-dry farmland and disease, the experts said… Under this scenario, the resort town of Ocean City, Md., will lose 39 feet of shoreline by 2000 and a total of 85 feet within the next 25 years.
