Readers of the day

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 10, 2010 09:25 PM

Making their voices heard, some of our readers made the road trip from Chicago to St. Louis to protest the Obamacare Road Show at the St. Charles High School. Every voice counts:

One group of folks on Bennett Avenue journeyed from Chicago to hold signs protesting health care reform. Stefanie Wilson, 44, daughters Ellery, 18, and Charlotte, 16, said they drove four hours along with friend Ryan Szumny, 20, after hearing about Obama’s visit through columnist Michelle Malkin’s Web site.

Wilson said she had attended every Tea Party event in Chicago. “I really believe that health care is not the government’s business.”

If you can be in D.C. on March 16 for the people’s surge against Demcare, check in here for more info and details.

I was actually planning to head to DC for the April 15 rally. Won’t this last minute event steal some of the thunder from Tax Day? I know there is a sense of urgency re killing the bill, but how many people can realistically make the trip on such short notice? Hope I’m wrong.

Somebody prove to me that Obama himself ever made a dollar working in the private sector and I’ll shut up. The man owes his whole existance to public funding. A generational teet sucker, seeking to increase the roles.

How about we start by investigating if Obama, Ayers, and/or Wright played any role in 9/11?

    Yes, I’m serious.

jangar, take a day off and don’t look at news or think about politics. We all need a sanity break once in a while. If you lose your sense of humor, all is lost. This report on Dear Leader’s fishing ban should help.

Well he actually worked at Baskin-Robbins when he went to school in Honolulu – or so they say. But no need to shut up. :)

I’m guessing he thought 31 flavors gave the customer too much choice, and wanted the governmnt to buy everyone the same flavor – Big Block Cheese.

I see that NY is considering a ban on salt in restaurant cooking. Anyone who has ever cooked knows that this is an impossibility if the meal is to be decent. The point is that this is what the future holds with Obamacare. To “protect our health” be prepared for food to be managed, children to be watched and homes to be inspected.

I don’t know, but I would say that Michelle Malkin is a more effective “community organizer” than Barack Obama.

This was largely inspired and prompted by windmill-atop-buildings Nanny Bloomberg, who also seeks (along with sickly-green City Council members) to replace meat and milk products in public school (colleges too) with soy substitutes. They’ve already gotten the beverage industry to kowtow so they’re very gung-ho about getting their way. Even the fur industry doesn’t hold conventions here anymore. In upstate NY, they want to pass a law that requires you to have a forestry inspect first if you want to chop down a tree on your OWN land within the huge State Preserve. Kids are taught fish have feelings and you’re only REALLY a good person if you’re “green”. If they hadn’t the power to swing this it’d almost be comical.

You ought to see Switzerland’s laws on pet/animal care. I believe it’s a law there where you can’t “fight” a fish for more than 20 minutes; since fish have feelings. The desire to own a dog requires a future owner to take courses and know the laws (like walking the dog, etc.).

    Hey Democrats!

If, as Obama has said over, and over, and over, and over again:

The time for talk is over.
America deserves an up-or-down vote on Healthcare.

Then have the House vote on the Senate bill TODAY!!!

The time for talk is OVER!!! Hold the vote, and when the Senate bill fails to pass the House, SHUT UP!!!

Aren’t you listening to your Dear Leader? The time for talk is OVER!!!

Uh, I think America has voted on it, and near 80% want him to take his bill and pound sand (which shouldn’t be a problem for a closet muslim).

I hate to nitpick, but I’m pretty sure he scooped 57 flavors.

And you say Big Block Cheese like it’s a bad thing. “More cheese gromit!”
