It’s Demcare crunch time. Bring out more babies! The House Speaker surrounded herself this afternoon with a fresh batch of kiddie human shields:

As for the young men on Capitol Hill whom Democrat Rep. Eric Massa allegedly groped at his creepy playhouse, Pelosi remains coldly indifferent.

That’s funny. I sort of remember liberals foaming at the mouth over Palin bringing her children up on stage. Once again, outrage only flows in one direction.
Children belong to the parents, not the state. There are a plethora of programs that exist to treat sick children. The problem is that the welfare Moms don’t want to suffer the long lines that accompany free things.

Empty out the prisons and jails;
Empty out the ICUs and PICU;
Empty out the orphanages;
Empty out the homeless shelters;
Empty out government housing.

So “offing” the unborn will reduce costs by culling the pool of people on insurance? So who will pay for Gen X, Y, Z and Zero?
Putting two and two together, one has to look at the half trillion dollar cut for Medicare the Democrats have put in their health care “reform” bill a bit more critically, and in the light of this latest revelation. It would not be difficult to extrapolate Pelosi’s logic to include cutting coverage of the elderly to further “cut costs”, would it?

Seems obvious, and a popular theme here – and true enough, as far as it goes. Correct me if I’m wrong, but in the real world women often get pregnant without planning to do so. How do we propose to prevent this? The “family planning” Nanny is talking about when it does happen is to have your unborn baby killed – to save money. That is what is repulsive. How many dollars / terminated human life will we save?
Nancy Pelosi needs to step away from the babies and come out to face her constituents!

When I contacted her office last week I was told Nancy Pelosi has no Town Hall Meetings currently scheduled.
Since Nancy Pelosi is leading the charge to force her Democrat-care bill on us all, she should at least have the courage to tell her constituents how great it is in a Town Hall Meeting in person (Telephone Town Halls don’t count!)
If we all contact Nancy Pelosi’s office, perhaps we can convince her to have a public Town Hall Meeting in San Francisco during her “District Work Period” which is scheduled to begin on March 29.

Perhaps if Nancy Pelosi knows she will have to explain the Democrat-care reform bill to her constituents, she might think twice about forcing this bill on us.

I completely agree that Nancy Pelosi is a Marxist. And the only thing Nancy Pelosi cares about is power.
But the Democrats realize that if they are going to have any hope of passing Democrat-care, they have to do it before the March 29 “District Work Period” because they are afraid of Town Hall Meetings.
Nancy Pelosi will either hold a Town Hall Meeting or she won’t. I am assuming that Nancy Pelosi is terrified to have a Town Hall Meeting so it won’t happen. Nancy Pelosi’s performances at the January 2006 Town Hall Meeting and before have been completely embarassing.
But we need to keep the pressure on Nancy Pelosi and the other Democrats in Congress.
If Nancy Pelosi refuses our requests for a Town Hall Meeting we need to make sure that the media and all of the Democrats in Congress know that their “Fearless Leader” Nancy Pelosi is a afraid to defend Democrat-care in a Town Hall Meeting, even in her own liberal district of San Francisco.
Yet Nancy Pelosi expects the other Democrats in Congress to defend Democrat-care at their own Town Hall Meetings.
We need to expose Nancy Pelos’s hypocrisy and cowardice!

Last Friday, while speaking from the House Floor on C-SPAN, Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (one of four Republicans vs. nine Democrats on the Rules Committee) said that she had requested that the Rules Committee proceedings be televised on C-SPAN.
The Democratic leadership refused.
This should be our next focal point.
Challenge the self-proclaimed “Open, transparent, and accountable” Democrats to actually be “Open, transparent, and accountable” and let the people see what transpires in the Rules Committee.

passeddeemed into law. Does that mean that SCHIP goes away(revoked). It is a 12 billion dollar program per year over the next five years. If everyone has health care, why would SCHIP be necessary? Does the $1.01 tax on a pack of cigarettes go away? Does the $.50 tax on chewing tobacco go away?
