Update: Just announced…White House press secretary Gibbs says Obama is postponing Asia trip to June.

Now is the time for all good men and women to raise their voices, kill the bill, and demand that Congress wipe the corruption-stained slate clean and start over.

Robert Gibbs says “The voters will have the final say on the politics” of Demcare.

Damned right.

Have your say. And remember: There are no inevitabilities in politics.

I think this bho going on Fox last night just might have cratered this bill. If you are inclined to pray, please ask God, if it is in His will, to help our Repbulic. We need all the help we can get to stop this.

Postponed his trip???? He should have left on schedule. By not leaving, he gets a front row seat to the downfall of his most beloved program. Had he stuck with actually creating real solutions to the problems with health insurance instead of making it a power grab, he would not be watching his popularity sink.

He should really just plan the goodbye tour now (by going to Asia) because his a$$ will grass in 3 years. Better yet, just move abroad and be somebody else’s president… Obeyme never really cared enough about America to ACTUALLY listen to the people about Obamacare.

Just a pretender, always a pretender, never to be real.

Don’t make me laugh. Do you actually believe that the donks give a flyin’ eff what you do or don’t want? If they did, they’d have abandoned this effort months ago.

Donkey-care is inevitable, because long before now the donks decided that they were going to force it on us be any means necessary. Absent a successful court challenge, once it’s stuck on us the only way to get it off will be riots in the streets.

Also, in the press conference he said that Obama will meet with Pres. Calderon of Mexico on 19 May, to discuss (in part)…yes, you guessed it… ‘immigration issues’.

Regardless of how the Health Care bill shakes out, be ready for the next round: “Immigration Reform”. It heats up for real starting… RIGHT NOW.

Americans don’t want Obamacare – he spends all his time on it.

They have made it very clear that they will pass this bill by any means necessary. Anyone who believes that this bill isn’t going to pass is deluding him/herself. They already know how unpopular this bill is and they are going to pass it anyway because for them, ideology trumps everything.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.

How do you destroy the Constitution? One small piece at a time. One of the most obvious and easiest facts to verify –

No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

But all everyone wants to do is label those who want that easily verifiable information proven are called “birthers” and other names to marginalize them.

Now everyone is surprised that the liberals are still chipping away at the Constitution. Enforce the small things and the rest will get taken care of.

Even stalwart Glen Beck admits he’s never looked into it but dismisses it as a waste of time. Maybe if he’s hasn’t even looked into the issue, he shouldn’t comment on it.

I can prove where I was born and have had to on a number of occasions.

This may be the one key to getting Obama out of the White House. If he produces a valid birth certificate verifying the location of his birth (not a long form that can be issued to anyone), then no harm, no foul.

I’d be happy if he’d prove he’s a real genius like everyone claims if he’d produce his college transcripts like other candidates and Presidents.

The DD-214 is a document that one may be asked to produce during their lifetime – i.e. applying for veteran benefits, funeral, etc. Many veterans have had to produce this document as well as their birth certificate.

I thought Kerry refused to produce his medical records which, to me, would be a valid act. Medical records are of a much more personal nature.

Thank you. My first comment seems to have disappeared – basically it was that even though we survived, our incomes are down 3000%, but to avoid the swine flu pandemic – and 10,000 casualties like Kansas experienced from their tornado, we need billions of dollars. We have already saved millions of jobs though.

My great grandfathers fought in the Revolutionary War, the civil war, my great uncle lost his leg in WWI, my dad was wounded and taken prisoner at the Battle of the Bulge, and my brother -in-law was killed in Vietnam. These men fought, were wounded, and or died to ensure the freedom of their posterity (me). The very minimum that my wife and I can do to honor them is to go to Washington and peacefully protest the healthcare abomination that will help destroy the freedom for which they shed their blood.

Our ancestors are crying out to “water the tree of liberty!” I truly believe our founding Fathers are looking down at this moment in our history. As a genealogist, I have had too many amazing experiences that have led me to believe my ancestors are somehow helping me out. Unbelievable things that, taken singly, might be coincidence…but put them all together and the evidence is overwhelming. I would drop everything and go this week, except I’m still recovering from two bouts of pneumonia and still pretty tired. My prayers, however, will be constant and I will literally be on my knees.

Well, there are already signs that the Open Borders Lobby is fracturing on the proposed amnesty being kicked around.
The CoC (Chamber of Commerce) is unhappy because there is hardly any talk of guest worker additions/programs (sigh, as if we don’t already have an array of those that are used…and, of course, abused, frequently. Maybe similar discord is already brewing among the Open Borders groups (let’s hope!). Of course, legalizing 12 million illegals during a time of near historic unemployment is, to me, an exercise in the bizarre and unbelievable.

Anyway, I just wanted to put this issue on everyone’s radar as it will be at least as contentious as the Health Care bill has been, if not twofold.
