The section in the bill that will force citizens to buy insurance or go to jail must be immediately challenged in court.

Is any group getting ready to challenge this provision before the Supreme Court?

To wit:

Did Schlussel Smear Hannity?

By John Tabin on 3.19.10 @ 2:22PM

Regarding this morning's item on Sean Hannity's Freedom Concerts, it seems that much of Debbie Schlussel's report was very misleading. A knowledgeable source tells me: "The reason so little has been paid out from the charity is that the vast majority of the kids the money WILL go to are right now not in college. When they turn 18 they will get the money for college. But because these are the children of Iraq and Afghanistan vets, their kids are mostly not of college age yet."

As for Hannity's private plane, my source says "he pays for it himself," and adds that "he personally has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars of his own money to the Freedom Alliance."

I'm told Freedom Alliance will issue a statement on this today; I'll update this post with their statement as soon as I get it.

Phil: I saw this from Debbie Schlussel’s site. She hates Hannity and has nothing good to say about most other conservative commentators, even Michelle Malkin.

That kind of accusation needs to be investigated thoroughly before it is tossed around.

Schlussel is not the "go to guy" on what conservatives are doing. I mean, really! What does she think Sean is, a Democrat?!?!?! He isn't stupid.

It is just another distraction and further proof that Hannity is hitting them where it hurts.

***
HI ED MAHMOUD ABU AL-KAHOUL--#89. Good comment on how can any serious Christian vote for abortion supporting democrats. I have been an Episcopalian since I was 11 years old--my choice--57 years ago.
***
I hear many Christians--good Catholics also--supporting and voting for democrats--and they like Comrade Obama (PBUH) because he helps out poor people. Too bad The Messiah doesn't feel the same way about helping out the unborn--it's O.K. to abort them for convenience purposes--no need to PUNISH HIS DAUGHTERS WITH A BABY.
***
What will a good Christian, Jew, or Muslim tell God when we stand before him on the final judgment day? I think He will ask us, "Why did you vote for abortion supporting candidates? I didn't ask you to fight them-- at least you could have voted for life instead!"
***
I don't want to have to tell Him that I was so stupid as to support these evil people. And also--there are likely to be some bishops burning in hell. My Episcopal Bishop left the church and became a Catholic a few years ago--he could no longer serve a new world (read satanic) agenda. And more good Christians leave every day. It just proves that you can educate a fool--but all you get is a (seminary) educated fool!
***
God is patient--and forgiving. But his patience and forgiveness is not infinite in the face of evil actions. The Bible lessons about Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, the Babylonian exile, and the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans are examples of what happens to peoples and countries that continue to offend God.

Re the education earmark: I guess Asians are no longer minorities?

So IOW only the minorities who are failing at college will get more money...when you subsidize something you get more of it.

Pathetic.

All Democrats have to go! Oh, and while we’re at it let’s show the RINOs out too.

Yep, any Democrat who is undecided is voting for the bill. The only transparency in this administration is when they attempt to deceive their constituents.

Swede - I too take great comfort in this and believe in His divine providence. I'm surprised by Ig-Reilly's dismissive response to your words that reflect over 200 years of truth - words that the founding fathers used to guide them in creating our consitution. I plan on calling on the power of prayer during these times as it seems to go hand in hand with another God-given right called the 2nd amendment. The thought that keeps coming into my head with regard to the health care takeover is how is this not tyranny -- how is this not worthy of a revolution?

Oh, about who the Demonrats follow, the Lord of this World...

Luke Chapter 4

Filled with the holy Spirit, Jesus returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days, to be tempted by the devil. He ate nothing during those days, and when they were over he was hungry.

The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread."

Jesus answered him, "It is written, 'One does not live by bread alone.'"

Then he took him up and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in a single instant.
The devil said to him, "I shall give to you all this power and their glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I may give it to whomever I wish.
All this will be yours, if you worship me."
Jesus said to him in reply, "It is written: 'You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him alone shall you serve.'"

Then he led him to Jerusalem, made him stand on the parapet of the temple, and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down from here, for it is written: 'He will command his angels concerning you, to guard you,'
and: 'With their hands they will support you, lest you dash your foot against a stone.'"

Jesus said to him in reply, "It also says, 'You shall not put the Lord, your God, to the test.'"
When the devil had finished every temptation, he departed from him for a time.
Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news of him spread throughout the whole region.

He taught in their synagogues and was praised by all.

On March 20th, 2010 at 6:44 am, rplatt said:
Why not . . . Stupak is just another wormy liberal slug that will sell his soul for a pittance. We’re dealing with self serving, amoral liars, cheats and crooks and there’s no reason we should expect them to behave honorably and honestly. Marxism and socialism are the “law of the land” and our once great Republic is dead.

There is no way a real Christian of either Protestant or Catholic flavor, can be a Democrat, unless they are amazingly stupid.

The Dems have been the abortion party since 1988 at least. Al Gore, Tennessee's "moderate Democrat Senator", miraculously discovered the joys of abortion on demand when he entered the Democrat primaries. Instant 180º flip. Even more astounding than Huckabee's 180º flip from pro-illegal and friend of La Raza to supposed border security hawk in 2008.

In 1992, Bob Casey Senior, governor of Pennsylvania, was denied a speaking role at Clinton's nominating convention, because he was truly pro-life.

His fraud son claimed the mantle, and beat Santorum, but now is a safe vote when needed for abortion on demand and federal funding of foreign abortion clinics.

If millenium of tradition, or the Scriptures and Gospel are a person's guide, they can't be a Democrat. Pelosi, Kerry, Sebelius, the rotting DWI Killer, were all frauds.

Only members of churches that choose to follow the Lord of this World, like some Episcopal churches (hang tough to the faithful Anglican churches), Unitarians, MCC, etc. can claim any semblance of Christianity and be Democrat.

BTW, the now retired Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Newark, New Jersey, publically denies Jesus was born of a virgin, died on a cross, or was resurrected.

And the Episcopal Church continues to honor him as a bishop and maintain his denials of Christ on their website.

2 choices for Stupak, fraud of very stupid.

Why not . .

Al Gore, Tennessee’s “moderate Democrat Senator”, miraculously discovered the joys of abortion on demand when he entered the Democrat primaries. Instant 180º flip. Even more astounding than Huckabee’s 180º flip from pro-illegal and friend of La Raza to supposed border security hawk in 2008.
