Bart Stupak’s announcement that he and other self-labeled “pro-life” Democrats will vote in favor of Healthcare reform legislation with the addition of an Executive Order from the White House to address concerns about abortion funding, Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund President Marjorie Dannenfelser offered the following statement:
“This Wednesday night is our third annual Campaign for Life Gala, where we were planning to honor Congressman Stupak for his efforts to keep abortion-funding out of health care reform-we will no longer be doing so. By accepting this deal from the most pro-abortion President in American history, Stupak has not only failed to stand strong for unborn children, but also for his constituents and pro-life voters across the country.
“Let me be clear: any representative, including Rep. Stupak, who votes for this healthcare bill can no longer call themselves ‘pro-life.’ The Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund will not endorse, or support in any capacity, any Member of Congress who votes for this bill in any future election. Now through Election Day 2010, these representatives will learn that votes have consequences. The SBA List Candidate Fund will work tirelessly to help defeat Members who support this legislation and make sure their constituents know exactly how they voted. We will actively seek out true pro-life candidates to oppose Members who vote ‘yes’ on this bill, whether it be in general or primary elections. For these Members, it will be a quick downhill slide to defeat in November.
“The executive order on abortion funding does absolutely nothing to fix the problems presented by the health care reform bill that the House will vote on this evening. The very idea should offend all pro-life Members of Congress. I think all who vote “YES” should be stripped of their “Defenders of the Constitution” Award.
And quick. The Susan B. Anthony List Candidate Fund is huge. This is significant. Still time Bart. Are you the real deal or not?

Or one can argue, as I prefer to, that for a demoncrat Party loyalty trumps everything. From the start I thought counting on the “Pro-life democrats” was a huge blunder. Their positions are bargaining chips, nothing else. I am not happy to be shown to be correct.
May thoughts of the unborn he could have saved be with Stupak every night of the remainder of his traitorous life.
Anyone that thinks America should be free should do the same.
Is anyone really surprised that Stupak caved. It wasn’t a matter of “if” but “when”.
For as easily as he rolled over, I doubt he will be bothered in the slightest.
As for the rest of us, no matter how abhorrent we may find abortion, we are now forced to pay for it.
Over at http://www.Hillbuzz.org they are mounting a letter writing campaign to contact all the top money donors to representatives who voted yes on Obamacare, to express their disappointment and disgust with the then and future candidates. They have today put Stupak at the top of the list for this project. There will be more consequences.
Also, I think tonight is the night they put down the last “Blue Dog” Democrats by euthanasia. They were a pretty puny breed anyway, not very true to principles — in fact they had none.
I will not pay for ONE abortion with my tax dollars. I will do whatever it takes to prevent the IRS from taking my hard-earned money to kill an innocent human life.
Message for all Democrats and collaborators: Treason has consequences too.

The IRS is a terrorist organization. I was terrorized by them in 2007. Unless you are self employed and get paid in cash you will be likewise terrorized. Wages garnished, Employer harassed. Bank accounts and savings and retirement wiped out.

There is no such thing as a “moderate” democrat. There is no such thing as a “conservative” democrat. Anyone who has labored under either of those delusions should just get over it right now. Obama kept a bill off the floor of the Illinois senate that would have provided health care to aborted babies that survived the abortion. I’d like to point out that Alabama Congressman, Artur Davis, D-7th District, voted against the health care bill, repeatedly, including last night. I’m generally opposed to all Democrats, but Representative Davis has shown himself to be principled and one who stands by his beliefs.

Dr. Charles Krauthammer was on Dennis Miller’s radio show this morning. He said anyone who thinks they are going to repeal this bill is, essentially, whistling through their shorts (my phrase). Insurance companies are now like utility companies, and just look at the wonderful job the feds have done regulating utilities! Get ready for 18-hour waiting lines in ERs.
Stupak’s a hypocritical, traitorous fraud – HA! Glad it was made public that his bullsh– resulted in him losing any kind of recognition as a supporter of the unborn. As far as I’m concerned, him and all his blue-dog buddies are bigger traitors than Pelosi and company.

Stupak’s behavior should finally put to rest the notion that a Democrat can truly be “pro-life”. Those so billing themselves may make some political hay from the label, but clearly, when push comes to shove, they are willing to go along with their party’s “abort ‘em all” attitude. Unless this guy is the stupidest human being ever born, he cannot possibly believe that O-Bama-Lama-Ding-Dong’s “executive order” is anything but a publicity stunt for the terminally gullible. Stupak has no principles that don’t include at their core the notion of “I’m a good foot soldier in the army of Obama.”
Stupak’s maneuverings during this lousy episode should serve as a guide to those politicians who want to demonstrate their own inner weasel. You knew this guy was going to cave the minute he started saying he was never going to cave.
