Racial Preferences in Obamacare
Hello, comrades! The government’s take-over of the American health care system is almost complete.
The federal government, which does all things so well, is one step closer to making our medical decisions and having access to our medical records.
If that sounds like a far-fetched conspiracy theory, stretch your mind for a moment. Who could have imagined that the United States would adopt socialized medicine? That was a far-fetched idea not too long ago. But here we are.
Transfer of wealth and “crucial decisions” aside, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act contains provisions that provide incentives for racial discrimination. I mentioned the so-called health care bill’s racial preference provisions on the American Civil Rights Institute’s blog a while back.
One provision states that programs with “a record of training individuals who are from underrepresented minority groups or from a rural or disadvantaged background” will be given priority for government money. This is only one of several such provisions. Programs and medical institutions that practice racial preferences will be moved further up the money queue than programs and medical institutions that disregard race.
The one who disregards skin color is penalized. Hopenchange in America!
By the way, the Civil Rights Act prohibits government racial discrimination and preferences. The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights called the provisions racially discriminatory and sent President Barack Obama and Congress letters warning them about the provisions. The politicians ignored the warning, naturally.
The Commission said the inclusion of the discriminatory provisions appeared to motivated by a crusade to narrow racial health care disparities and the belief that the disparities are caused by a shortage of medical professionals who are members of preferred minority groups. Seriously.
The Commission rightly concluded that medical institutions competing for federal dollars may end up lowering academic standards for minority applicants, and added that “race-based attempts to achieve some ill-defined ‘critical mass’ of minority students or to demonstrate a ‘sufficient’ record of training such students are constitutionally suspect… As we noted in our October 9, 2009 letter, it is generally illegal for the government to show favoritism or even use classifications based on race, ethnicity, or sex.”
If the Obama administration’s going to violate the Civil Rights Act, one would think the discriminatory provisions actually would solve the racial health care disparity problem. The Commission cited research that showed raising the quality of care at hospitals in the 500 largest minority serving areas would improve minority health care more than eliminating racial disparities within every provider in the U.S.
This finding seems intuitive, but the racism-under-every-rock civil rights industry prefers to deal in quantity over quality. Why adopt controversial and illegal discrimination and preferences over simply improving care for all?

Reparations, by one name or another.
In order to bring FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE to America.
Since the Civil Rights Act isn’t part of the Constitution, it’s waaay down the list of considerations. Unless of course they need to quote it, then it’s the law of the land.
This ugly takeover just gets uglier with each subsequent look. It’s an avalanche of unintended consequences.
Just wait until they ration care based on race, gender, and sexual preference. Can you say white male ethnic cleansing?
What did anyone expect from the Affirmative Action president and the “racism behind every corner” Democrats”?
They’re lying about this too. My mother just spent a week in the hospital, and none of the MD’s that treated her were Caucasian. There was an Indian, 2 Filipinos, 1 Chinese and 1 darker-skinned Greek MD. They were all wonderful, but to suggest that minorities are underrepresented in the pool of competent physicians is ludicrous.
They need to stop using the term “minority” and just say, “black”, which is what they really mean.
The first time someone is denied care due to that pablum will open up a can of whoopass. Folks don’t take kindly to tyrannical barriers to self preservation.
Obama is a racist prick. Given the chance I’d beat the hell out of him. I don’t want to hear another word about Obama uniting anyone or being post-racial. He’s Jeremiah Wright. Nothing more. Nothing less.
The socialist party obviously will not follow our constitution because it is in direct conflict with their goals.
For the sake of peace in this country, I pray that legal avenues are pursued and ultimately win. It may take a Constitutional Convention by the states, but whatever the method, all racist laws need to be declared void and eliminated. Also, any individual or party supporting these unconstitutional laws should be punished according to our laws. It may seem like a strange word, but justice needs to be served or we are no longer a nation of laws. Without laws we will have anarchy.
Keep this in mind when filling out the race part to the 2010 census.
But wait, what kind of GPA will be required for these new training programs? Oh wait – GPA! whats that? All those tests to see if they are qualified will be deemed racist, the education system that spawned them will be deemed racist and the list goes on.

Don’t worry. Once the American doctors start closing their practices, the admission standards and immigration laws will be loosened to the point where you’ll be lucky if your doctor can speak a word of english. Doctors? We don’t need no stinking doctors. A lab assistant can look just a professional as an MD.
Oh, and about the privacy of your medical records. Don’t worry. They’ll be as safe as Joe the Plumber’s records were during the campaign.
Patient question: were you a doctor who was admitted to medical school after 23 March 2010?
If so, I want another doctor.

These preferences are a double-edged sword. The National Institutes of Health has proposed a compulsory HIV “test and treat” program for all blacks in the Washington DC area. The trouble is that the tests are flawed and the treatments are toxic. It’s Tuskegee all over again.

It has become extremely apparent that all those years under Jeremiah Wright and all those many associations with promoters of white hate, have deeply influenced Barry Sorento, despite his claims to the contrary.
He hasn’t spoken the truth about anything. Even his “fundamental change” speeches were hidden with the lies of what change he was referring to. So I conclude that Obama is the most habitual lier I have ever witnessed. So how can we believe anything that rolls from his tongue?
His goal seems to be the elimination of God and White people. To enslave the whites to punished them for the “perceived” injustice that blacks have experienced. Sure, some have experienced racial hatred, but none have experienced the degree of racial discrimination that I, as a white skin person, have experienced my entire life, starting with forced busing in the seventies.
Because, that’s how they roll.
I see Michael Steele, yelling from the mountain tops, that this provision is racist. Then I woke up.
This may be slightly off point, but you might also pay attention to the creation of School Health Centers under the bill, located in or adjacent to public schools. Not to be confused with having your own doctor, these school health centers will aim for the pupil clientele. Just imagine what these could accomplish with your children. Oh, they are forbidden to provide abortion services, but that’s about all. They could do referrals, or pass out condoms, whatever. Of course, that already happens in school health classes. And you wonder why this bill is so costly?

“underrepresented” appears to be a very loose interpretation. To the grievance mongers underrepresented means their race is not 100% of the members. Just look at government jobs. They continue to push hard on affirmative action. But have you been to a gov’t agency lately? 90% are minorities and/or women. But that doesn’t stop the howls of discrimination from the protected class.

The best medical services, especially trauma care is already in place within inner cities.
What more is wanted? Most medical universities operate hospitals in inner cities, take USC medical center in Los Angeles or the Univ of Ariz (UMC) in Tucson.
These research universities serve the inner city mostly populated by represented minorities.
How did this provision get through? Who is really benefiting by this?
I can understand rural communities pitching a fit because they are generally under served, inner city though I don’t get so much.
No doubt the country got bamboozled, it’s a criminal rape of our Constitution IMO.
This health care nightmare is nothing but a giveaway to minorities, except if you’re Asian. If you’re white, then you’re to blame for what’s wrong in the Latino and Black communities. It’s funny, that, since these two communities have failed to take any responsibility for their decisions because they’ve always had the protection of the Federal government to shield them from everything they’ve done.
This was intended all along. This will set back race relations for years. The Dems have confirmed that Latinos and Blacks can’t take care of themselves and this bill is just another signal lof that.

So Obama runs from Dr. Martin Luther King’s position of judging, “not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character”…..to Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton’s position of “the white man is out to get people of color.”
Not surprising.
And worse, if that’s even possible, is the potential “dumbing down” of medical school standards to admit more minorities. But then again, since the gov’t won’t allowing any real complicated procedures going forward, maybe this is a wash since these C+ Med students wouldn’t have the skills to do them anyway.

In FY 2005 the feds fired or retired 4,179 white guys. At the same time, the feds managed to hire 6,238 new preferred minorities.
Of course, OPM doesn’t call it “over hiring” of minorities. They call it “meeting or exceeding affirmative action goals.”
If you want to get sick to your stomach go to the website Adversity Net and read the following studies on the Federal Government over hiring minorities read discriminating against white caucasians.
Synopsis:
The feds have over hired blacks by such an overwhelming margin in all 22 independent federal agencies that it is difficult to see the over-quota hiring of the other minorities.
For example, in the graphic to the left, while the EEOC hired Hispanics by 98% above their racial quota, that accomplishment is dwarfed by the 427% by which blacks were over hired by EEOC.
Blacks were over hired at the Court Services and Offender Services agency by 841%. And at the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation by 405%.
Expect more of the same as they destroy our health care system brick by brick.
*Let’s not forget the tanning tax, which begins tomorrow on tanning salons; This is obviously a tax based on race; Individuals and salons should have already been lawyered up on this; Imagine the outcry over a tax on JeriCurl!

The goal we have been working for as a nation is now being penalized. 100 years from now we will have liberals “fighting” a civil rights battle to get white folks treated in the community clinic. What comes around goes around comrade.100 years after that the liberals will be fighting to get some other race treated at clinics. Is this Liberalism a “make work project” or what?
