Clyburn: Health Care Opponents are Aiding and Abetting Terrorism
Rep. James Clyburn (D-S.C.) continues his desperate attempt to paint opponents of Obamacare as racists pining for a return to the Jim Crow era (unbeknownst to Clyburn, the only thing being forced to the back of the bus is the Constitution), but now he’s added terrorism to his vast repertoire of accusations:
Terrorism? Don’t you mean “Tea Partier-caused disasters”?
Clyburn also said somebody faxed a picture depicting a noose to his Congressional office. If only he’d have remembered to bring it to this interview with CNN reporter and Jeopardy savant Wolf Blitzer. I’ve also heard numerous stories from Clyburn and others about racial slurs being shouted at black members of Congress, but nobody that I’m aware of has produced any video or audio evidence that it happened, though I have seen video of Jesse Jackson trying his best to provoke protesters into calling him nasty names, but to no avail. Sorry, Jesse.
In other words, Rep. Clyburn, give Tea Partiers something to denounce, as well as evidence that it came from the aforementioned Tea Party terrorist organization, and I’m sure most of them will denounce it. But they’ll probably require more evidence of this terrorism than just a photo of some guy holding up a picture of the president with a Hitler mustache drawn on him. People grew numb to that during the Bush years, way back when the left considered dissent to be the ultimate act of patriotism.

I wonder how soon it will be before we have neighborhood commisars to make sure we are docile, or report us for “hate speech” (sedition) or “terrorism”?
And how many are aiding and abetting an ineligible usurper acting as President?
These Marxist distractions and accusations are all expected and time tested tactics straight from their operations manuals. All good Alinsky students know to obfuscate, confuse, misdirect, and deceive the public whenever their plans are imperiled. Mockery, derision, ridicule, and above all put a face on the capitalist enemy and keep the media focused on them. A compliant and collaborative media is vital to their plans.
Understand your enemy and his tactics and use them to your advantage.
It seems liberals of all persuasions are obscessed with racism.
Since they keep bringing it up, I’m beginning to think they are the one’s who have trouble with the race issue.
Maybe they have lingering guilt and doubts because of their past support for segregation, the KKK, fighting the Civil Rights laws, etc.
“Thou dost protest too much” methinks.
Oh, and about those claims by the Black Caucus not seeing many white faces at the Tea Party rallies. I’m wondering where all the white faces are in their so-called caucus.
“Esculate”? Wow. We sure aren’t getting the best and brightest in politics any longer. This guy is the direct result of identity politics (ie race based voting).
If Brown Can’t Stop It, A Browning Can was a sign i saw more than once there. Violent rhetoric is growing more by the day. That is lowering the noble goals of the Tea Party and Conservative movement. Its getting sick.
Has anyone heard the straight story on the alleged spitting incident? The last I read about it, there appears to be doubt as to whether the Tea Partier actually intended to spit on the victim or merely accidentally sprayed him while speaking audibly above the crowd.
Tie Obama and the Dems to the impeding financial collapse of California due to lawless immigration – and any other crisis. Pound the message and keep pounding it especially when new revelations of disaster present themselves. Hamstring and harass the war horse at every opportunity and they will make more and more mistakes out of fatigue and frustration. Then at the opportune time you pull the invader from his saddle and deliver the skee’n'doo coup de grace. Asymetric political warfare.
Not only is the left and their media minions all too willing to accuse the Tea Party without a shred of evidence with actions by unknown persons, the left and their media minions show us that civil unrest is only bad when traditional America does it.
Is Al Sharpton or Van Jones extremist?
Is even Bill Ayers worthy of the current media or liberal portrayal of the kind they so quickly use to show the Right as extremist?
Hows about Code Pink, are they extreme?
What happens when conservative America acts up? The left pegs the hypocrisy meter.
After a year of protests some of them huge,loud adamant townhall meetings, huge numbers of emails, phone calls, every kind of communication, the left should have paid attention to, and after refusing to listen to the American people and forcing their agenda through by corrupt despicable means, the question is…What does it take to get your attention?
What else can one expect from someone who thinks that the First Ammendment Right to Peaceably Assemble, and Petition the Government for Redress of Grievances only applies to Code Stink, SEIU, et.al.?
The left is feeling panic and are attempting to quell legitimate and legal political dissent . . . don’t fall for it. Some of them still revel in the backlash of the 60′s where images of police dogs and water cannons did wonders for their cause.
It doesn’t matter if ANY of these charges of racism or “dangerous” tea-partiers are true or not. RedDog has is right. It is all a strategy to demonize, demoralize and marginalize the people who are rightfully furious that the USA is becoming the USSA.
Repeat these accusations long enough in the halls of Congress and in the media and they will become reality to a great percentage of the population. They figure then no one will want to associate with these “racist terrorists”, hopefully, in their mind, killing any opposition to more collectivism.
Clyburn is a Racist, a Socialist and a Domestic Enemy of the Republic so he has no room to talk…
What DEMS failed to take into account, when you go against the WILL of the PEOPLE you must be willing to suffer the consequences… For indeed they did go against the majority… As far as THREATS, I have been listening all AM, and I have not heard ONE threat… A lot of MALICE, a lot of ANGER, a lot of FRUSTRATION, a whole lot of NAME CALLING and BAD LANGUAGE… Ah, but not ONE THREAT… MR CLYBURN and MR. The next time you are in their presence like during the Pelosi Victory march with gavel in hand, which was DESIGNED deliberately to provoke you, say nothing.
If you are seated, stand and turn your back to them in silence. It is passive resistance. Do not say anything. They do not care what you have to say anyway. Do not disrupt them, do not infringe on their right to free speech. That way when we speak if they infringe on ours, who is the devil here?
If you are at a meeting with you Dem Congressman or like today in Iowa City with Obama, when they start to speak, stand up, reverse your chair and sit back down, passively, quietly with you back to him, not disrupting hom or his audience in any way. When the event is over, leave quietly.
They want anger to deflect from their piece of crap legislation. Give them no opening. Simply discuss facts and ask them questions which reveal their inconsistencies. The amendments put forth in the Senate last night were BRILLIANT. They damned Obama with his own words.
Defend the Constituion by being be better person. It will be hard and we WILL take casualties from their thugs, but in the end this refusal to be “unAmerican” will doom them.
Here the overly sensitive complain that Amos and Andy were racial stereotypes and we have a CongressCritter mimicking them! Then again the phrase “Beyond the Pale” which the man used is in of itself an ethnic/religious slur. So there is the evidence that CongressCritter Clyburn is a self hating minority trying to act white! Call him Oreo Clyburn.
So, if angry protesters get their signals from people in office as Rep. Clyburn suggests, is this really an acknowledgment and admission that Democrat officials were ultimately responsible for all the anti-Bush, anti-war protests? Seems to me that Rep. Clyburn assumes that Republican leaders are responsible because he’s reading from his own party’s template. Pictures of Pres. Bush with a Hitler mustache are perfectly okay, but doing the same with Pres. Obama is “beyond the pale”?
I also don’t recall Rep. Clyburn stepping up to admonish and condemn the acts of sedition and violence committed by the radical left.
We can agree to condemn violence. However, to suggest that the GOP is responsible for the outrage and anger caused by the deaf ear that the Democrat majority has turned to the will of the people is weak and desperate. They knew this would be an unpopular bill and instead of facing the consequences of that anger, they are still trying to play the “blame Republicans” game. Problem is, it’s not just the conservatives they need to worry about, but all the moderates they’ve pissed off as well.
I am a law abiding, tax paying, play by the rules Veteran and if you want to paint me as a Terrorist for suppoting and defending the Constituion and damning those that just wiped their collective asses on that sacred document Mr Clyburn, then so be it, you freaking hobgoblin.
Congressman John Dingell accused Frank Beckmann (Beckmann is a conservative columnist and radio host in Detroit), of “spreading useless terror” for questioning things about Obamcare.
This must be part of the new Dem memo-meme.
Belmont Club had an article up yesterday which addressed just this type of tactic, ratcheting the action. They get a toe-hold into new socialist ground, then ratchet the pressure to ensure they hold it. Ignore the accusations and continue to push pressure back to a constitutionally run federal government. Strip the federal government of powers not specifically under the constitution and return that power to the states. You will be amazed at how well it will work when the accountable politicians are closer to home.
Calling people terrorists has been a standing policy since the Obamabots took over Washington. Remember Janet Nepalitano calling Gulf War Vets and Christians “Terrorists”? it’s getting very close to showing these freaks what real terror is: the terror of standing in the unemployment lines they created.
Oklahoma’s very conservative candidate for govenor Randy Brodgon, recently gave a speech in which he said Obama didn’t have the right to dictate our health coverage anymore than he had a right to tell us where to buy a chicken dinner. Guess what – the black caucus said he was racist because he used the words “chicken dinner.” I guess they want to make the very words watermellon and chicken their own and off limits to everyone else…You cannot help but wonder about that race of people sometimes…where in the heck? This insanity must stop! I’m tired of liberal, self serving people dictating what is right and wrong for the rest of us. It.Must.End.

I was standing at the intersection of Independence Avenue and East Capitol Circle/New Jersey Ave when several African-American legislators walked past. I heard many and prolonged “boos” and “kill the bills.” I DID NOT HEAR ONE SINGLE SOLITARY STATEMENT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN INTERPRETED AS A RACIAL SLUR.
I was at that corner on the date and time in question. It didn’t happen. End of story. Clyburn, prove your false, slanderous accusations or shut up!

I have attended several tea parties and never once, NEVER, did anyone utter any kind of racial slur. At one such event, my husband who just happens to be a non-white American was approached by someone who came up and told him how glad he was that an African-American was at the Tea Party. Mr. FirstSkirt calmly told him that he was an American – no hyphen. Gotta tell ya that the guy looked embarrassed. Goes to show how many have bought into the politically correct speech. When Mr. FirstSkirt said that, many people around us spontaneously applauded.
I practice Flyoverman’s suggestion now. Last year at the July 4th parade in Fairfax City I turned my back when the democrats drove past. It is a good start but in the end it won’t be sufficient.
I don’t condone terrorism or violence in response to DemCare. I make my feelings known through the email box and the ballot box.
Nevertheless, I can almost understand the feelings of those who hate to see the Dems rip the constitution to shreds.

When will Clyburn and his fellow black socialists going to address why there is so much poverty, crime, illiteracy, high school dropout rates, unemployment, and broken families in ths black community? The black community is a microcosm of what the Dem Socialists promise- you can get your freebies as long as you become our whore and vote for us.
