Andrew Breitbart Offers $10,000 to United Negro College Fund
Nothing shuts down the debate like relaying third-hand stories about some conservative calling somebody a ni**er. Accuse now, ask questions later.
We live in a world where a “minority student” can put a noose in a university library, and students cite the incident as evidence of racism and start demanding race-based goodies as compensation.
You’ve read the news stories. According to reports, Tea Party protestors called Congressman John Lewis a ni**er last weekend as he and other lawmakers walked through the crowd. Is it true? Has the allegation been corroborated? Andrew Breitbart is offering a cash reward for proof.
And he’s upped the ante.
Breitbart’s offered to donate $10,000 to the United Negro College Fund for proof that someone used the epithet. I wonder if UNCF would accept the cash.
If the story’s true, surely someone will come forward on sheer principle alone, right?

On the topic of Breitbart’s offer, I wonder what sort of odds Vegas would offer on someone actually accepting his offer – either the video proof or passing a lie-detector test.
That latter offer really puts the onus on those who claim tea partiers used the N-word.

You need a strong stomach to go to this site, but it shows a bunch of protestors at various times threatening the life of George W. Bush. Last I heard, no one in the media complained, nor was anyone arrested. Enough said.

If you offer money for something, someone will find a way to give you what you are asking for.
If the independent “proof” hasn’t surfaced by now, it doesn’t exist. Even the “spitting” comment was walked back after the footage of the “spray-it-don’t-say-it” chanting protester surfaced. All of a sudden, it wasn’t “spit”, but “spittle was allowed” to hit the Congresscritter’s face….BIG difference.
The Left thinks by playing the race card, they’re going to peel independents away from the Tea Party and the “Throw them all out” movement.
Instead, the Independents are realizing they’ve been played and have had enough.
The only “base” it served was to rile up and entrench the far fringes of their supporters.
Kudos to Breitbart for calling them out on this.

I only see one thing good happening right now, with everything going on. I know who the fifth columnists are now. By being emboldened they are showing their true colors and that, to me, is a good thing. No more hiding in the shadows like the roaches they are, now we can pick and polarize them.

And about a potentially faked audio that may surface, let’s keep in mind the Dan Rather mindset that the Left has.
It doesn’t matter that the audio is (or would be) faked, since they believe that it is (or would be) an accurate portrayal of how we are.
To the liberal Left, Truth is relative — relative to advancing their agendas, that is.
I was at that street corner on the day in question. Breitbart is in no danger of every paying out this “reward” because the alleged events NEVER HAPPENED!
I am tired of people telling me all white people are racists because we are white! I guess they fail to see the racism inherent in their allegation!
Frankly, the accusation has been so overused that it doesn’t mean that much to most folks any longer.
But the MSM could save a ton of money on ink if they just admitted that when they say “conservative” them mean “right-wing, extremist, homophobic, fundamentalist, fascist, angry, anti-American, lunatic-fringe, gun-nut, militia member.” And wouldn’t that be “green” too?
If there was a United Caucasian College Fund, I’d donate a matching amount to it. But there isn’t one. To have such a thing would be racist or something . . .

Off topic but this is huge…On Neil Cavuto today, he had the CEO of AT&T who is saying the health reform will cost AT&T over 1 BILLION dollars!! Other companies are also speaking up…Caterpiller, etc. They have discovered a section of the bill that pertains to taxing something that will be an enormous hit. Not sure what it is. I have a feeling that this 2500 page bill has a lot more hidden taxes, etc. in it. When this stuff starts filtering out, there will be hell to pay. NO ONE is going to like this…not even the poor!!

Yeah, scrap, I’ve noticed this stuff too and am a little confused. Why weren’t they screaming about this before the vote?
Saw an ad on Fox last night – an adoring recollection of Reagan’s visionary leadership. The sponsor was, um, GE?? I’m getting very confused, but that’s nothing new.
The CEO said he didn’t know what was in the bill. And that makes sense, considering that even Obama doesn’t know what is in it!! Things are just starting to come out!!
I am finding all this just a little hard to believe!
Caterpillar says Obamacare costs them $100 million in year 1. Now ATT comes to an even bigger shock. Where were these people over the last couple of years!
If CEOs and boards took their heads out of there bums they would KNOW the Obama agenda is going to kill them and America! If half the CEOs in America simply told the Obama and his minions to get stuffed and started legal action against any of these unconstitutional Marxist acts it would go a long way toward slowing or stopping this crap!
But instead, they ROUTINELY roll over! How do you get to be a CEO of a multi-billion dollar corporation and not have the nerve to stand up to this garbage? Don’t they have a DUTY to their STOCKHOLDERS?
I wonder if maybe some new taxes were inserted into the bill that took these large corporations by surprise. I don’t know why they are just now realizing this. Considering how much Obama, Pelosi and Reid loathe and despise big business, you would think the CEO’s would be informed all along the way and ready to fight.
Perhaps it’s in corporate America’s interest to get rid of the Donk’s, so that they can go back to sacking the economy without government skimming off the profits.
Deep down inside they are all liberals. When their corporations get attacked, they try to jump on board the gravy train to avoid punishment, and slobber for subsidies.

WarEagle82, One aspect of corporate operations that frankly is not being taken as seriously as it should is that of Corporate Governance. People can wind up on the ‘board’ without really knowing a thing about how the particular corporation even operates to profit, but rather they are picked because of how well connected to another board member (like ‘do they play Golf together?’). I’m serious about this.
This in turn has led poor decision making which only exacerbated the Financial Crisis of 2008. For example,no one at WaMu-including former Governor Dan Evans of Washington State (who was on the board at the time of this debacle)- really thought to ask or learn about what WaMu was invested in. So when the those MBAs (Mortgage Backed Assets) went bad for the Hedge Funds and banks, and trickled down, they really got creamed.
Addendum: Board members pick the managers-CEO, CFO etc, so if the board is derelict in ‘minding the store’, you can bet they will hire managers just as competent.

Basically, the CEOs of ATT and Caterpillar need to summon Waxman’s brainless self to their offices and explain to him why he won’t be in the US Congress next term! These people have legitimate rights and legitimate power and they fail to use it to advance the interests of their shareholders!
I am wondering just how smart these “titans of business” really are.
They should have known that all the various Obama proposals were going to cost them scores if not hundreds of millions over a 10 year period. They might have been off by 10% or even 20% but there is NO WAY IN THE WORLD they should be surprised with the precise numbers NOW. They have whole departments of lawyers and accountants that make these kids of projections! They should have been yelling about these devastating taxes from endless press conferences since December when the Senate bill passed!
ATT is going to have to lay off thousands of workers with these new taxes. Caterpillar is going to have to lay off hundreds of workers. And that is going to further sink the economy and cause more problems, not less.
What are these CEOs thinking? Why are they only telling America this now?
WE82, did you follow my link to Ed Morrisey at Hot Air? He explains that business leaders did try to enlighten the dunderheads in Congress about the cost of this monstrosity.
But Congress, in its [collective] infinite wisdom, decided they understood the economy better than businessmen. /sarc.
Again, they were, but the media were, as usual, too incurious to report what the leaders of business and industry were saying.
In short, the media were too busy sticking their noses up BO’s ar$e to bother with such trifling details.
We were at the Retire Dingy Harry Tea Party in Searchlight, Nevada today-wow, 50,000 screaming, cheering right wing hate mongers having a good time. Andrew Breitbart was there and raised the ante to $100,000 being the Bitter Clinger he is. As pointed out by some there were hundreds of camera and sound crews at the Democratic Caucus walk through and not one of them picked up any thing close to the Whiny John Lewis claim.
