In Hypothetical 2012 Matchup, Obama in Statistical Dead Heat Against 2 Republicans: Nobody and Anybody
Kind of good news for the GOP — A Republican, Nobody, is in a statistical dead heat with President Obama in the 2012 presidential election:

Here’s a closeup photo above of the Republican candidate for president who’s currently tied with President Obama for the 2012 White House race.

Or anyone.
A new CNN / Opinion Research Poll out this afternoon of 953 registered voters nationally finds Obama tied at 47% with any Republican candidate. Gee, if only Wendell Willkie was still around.
The same poll also finds a clear majority of Americans now believe that Obama is a one-term president.
The CNN poll mirrors a Gallup poll from early February, which means the passage of the really super expensive free health care bill hasn’t done enough to push the president over the top against Nobody.
Keep up the good work, Nobody! I’m pulling for you, which is easy, because you’re… Nobody. Given the declining support for the Democrats, Nobody could be enough somebody to beat the Dems in 2010 and 2012.

I seriously doubt this will happen. America has a short memory and a “boiled frog” tendency to accommodate “sneaky” incremental mandates. I fear we’ll all be eating this thing because despite the feelings and anger out there, there’s totally no organization wielding it to repeal this monster. No organization, no leaders, nothing. Just more fatal internal bickering and jousting. And by Nov people will be wondering what the flames today were all about since the sky hadn’t fallen as they eat their new souped-up Medicare just ahead the new voters south of the border. Even if Obama loses in 2012, the destruction will have been done. Besides, there is every reason to believe he will simply form a government “in exile” and then there will no end to the evil he can do. He’ll have lots of money from America’s enemies. I wonder who they could be?
Let’s face it, we’re in a hole so deep the usual politics of “cycles of elections” are not going to do the job. It’s over. Like a good many South American countries, we’re heading towards military dictatorship. Let’s hope it’s one of the nicer ones.

Happy – I too was struck by how condescending the president was yesterday in Iowa (and has been throught his presidency). He ridiculed over half of the citizens of this country with his words and arrogance. Someone on his staff should strongly remind him that despite philisophical and political differences, he is still the President of the United States. Such behavior is reprehensible (and would be coming from a leader of either party. Man-up Mr. President – we expect and demand that you to act like a president!

For a head of government to visit the White House and not pose for photographers is rare. For a key ally to be left to his own devices while the President withdraws to have dinner in private was, until this week, unheard of. Yet that is how Binyamin Netanyahu was treated by President Obama on Tuesday night, according to Israeli reports on a trip viewed in Jerusalem as a humiliation.
After failing to extract a written promise of concessions on settlements, Mr Obama walked out of his meeting with Mr Netanyahu but invited him to stay at the White House, consult with advisers and “let me know if there is anything new”, a US congressman, who spoke to the Prime Minister, said.
“It was awful,” the congressman said. One Israeli newspaper called the meeting “a hazing in stages”, poisoned by such mistrust that the Israeli delegation eventually left rather than risk being eavesdropped on a White House telephone line. Another said that the Prime Minister had received “the treatment reserved for the President of Equatorial Guinea”.
I agree. But I suspect his plan is to divide this beautiful USA, not bring us together. And he is doing a great job of it.

Very well said!!! The fight for our sovereignty is a fight for our very lives. Just look at California. Why are they bankrupt? The illegals have overrun that state and are bleeding them dry. This will be multiplied by all the states if we allow amnesty. It will open the doors for all their relatives to pile in. The clash between American citizens and illegal aliens will ramp up this summer. This is where we will see violence, I fear.

As the President he had an opportunity and an obligation to start to try and bring the country together on this issue, which I agree with him is now law. I am like any population in history that has been bombed. It has only served to stiffen my resistance. But….. I will not take the bait and climb into the gutter. I will resist this new law on the basis its contents, cost, and impact on liberty. Snarky is no defense for why something sold as $940 billion is actually $2.4 trillion.

They will run on Repeal, but historically, they don’t have a track record of repeal. I think they will nibble around the edges, that’s what scares me.
I sure wish one of these parties would follow the Constitutional limitations placed on them. Everything they can do, without amendments, is in Article 1, Section 8. Look where we are today. The Federal Government is at total odds with the Framers Vision. Both parties created this mess. It’s hard to see anyone of them righting the ship of state.

College kids, dead people, minority deadbeats, gays (which I don’t understand because they haven’t been served by this president), white liberal elites, women and Jews.
1. College Kids– I can understand this because I grew up in a college town and saw the kind of stupid and lack of information it takes to make an uninformed vote.
2. Minority Deadbeats– Latinos and Blacks who have been slaves to the Dem Socialists for a LONG time. Even though the Dems are the racists, they’ve been “allowed” to get away with the fact that they keep these people down with handouts, affirmative action, and race quotas. Minorities vote for Dems because they are enemies of the state like Dems. They do not have the best interests of the country at heart. It’s more about their handouts, livin’ on the dole, and being privileged pets.
3. Gays– I think this might change with more information. HillBuzz, run by moderate/conservative Dem gays are trying to “open” the conversation between the gay community and conservatives, moderates, and independents. As they’ve said, if gays just understood that conservatives aren’t bad people and if conservatives could understand that gays are a diverse group, it would go a long way to taking this group out of the Dem voter role. Another factoid that one of the Hillbuzz posters have pointed out: Blacks have a higher proportion of gays in their community compared to other races and this is why blacks despise gays.
4. White liberal elites— they make up about 20% of the population (maybe less). These people are hard core socialists who may consider themselves “progressives” but that’s just a label change. I have a brother-in-law who is a Dean of Education in one of the New York state universities and he’s a “useful” idiot to say the least, along with being a cafeteria catholic. These are the kind of people who can’t look past ideology. I’d like any liberal to tell me that having debt that will soon be 90% of our GDP is healthy for this country. Of course they can’t. Wait until colleges and universities start laying off employees because of higher healthcare costs. Oh, the irony.
5. Women– One of the most saddening groups. There are many pro-death chicks who vote Dem on one issue: abortion. This is my sister-in-law. Abortion has become some sacred cow to the Dems… they’re proud of killing babies (especially black babies) and population control. The jokes on them because there now not enough workers to pay for Social Security or Medicare. Also some of the more rabid, uninformed voters… can be easily lead by their emotions. I’m sorry but Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton never supported their cause being coopted by socialists and political ideology. A voting right (like the Civil Rights Act) has been turned into a complacent privilege that many women don’t value and never will. The suffragettes would be ashamed of women today (I know I am). I vote on what’s right for the country, not my womb.
6. Jews– Another group that is pretty saddening. Younger Jews especially. Important to Dems because of their fundraising abilities and wealth. My sister is married to a member of one of these families, liberal Jews who have forgotten their roots, have thrown Israel under the bus, have forsaken their religion, and are ruthless to the core. Some are “concerned” about American-Israeli relations (AIPAC) but most do not. Most aren’t even practicing Jews (my brother-in-law). There is also a communist bent within this community that is always at odds with their views about their culture and family (look at the Rosenbergs). Probably the most commited group of ideologues along with white liberal elites.
7. Dead people– Dems often manipuate voter rolls in many states where voter rolls haven’t been updated or maintained well to reflect deaths in the community. They don’t mind using fraud (ACORN) to win elections. They’ve proven that what Americans have to say about the future course of the country doesn’t matter.
We need to start calling Dems what they really are: Dem Socialists. There are 75 members of the Democratic Socialist Party in the Congress. The progressives who like to compare themselves to FDR, Truman, and LBJ but they’re even WORSE. These people care nothing for our Republic. In fact, they’ve brainwashed people into believing that we’re a democracy to open them up to the possibility that it’s time to do away with relics like the Constitution and our Representative Republic. Americans are so uneducated about how our country was formed and how it functions it won’t be difficult to convince them it’s time to mimic social democracies like France and the UK who are nothing more than socialist countries.
We have a tough road to hoe because socialism isn’t a bad word anymore, not to the Dem Socialists and not to a majority of Dems, and portions of Independents and Republicans who think practicing it is okay.

As a military spouse, I thought I would pass this along. I had strong suspicions that this would start happening and it has. I just heard yesterday, when it broke, that the Air Force is now shedding as many jobs as it possibly can. Anybody who has been in the Air Force less than 6 years and less than 12 years (this is directed toward young lieutenants, captains, and majors) and Lt. and full bird Colonels who are over 20 years of service are being urged to retire or are being “forced out.”
The explanation: equipment cost overruns, healthcare costs (Tricare), and personnel mismanagement (something the Air Force is known for). The Air Force has been going back and forth between cutting and not cutting people. This will hurt many people in an economy that is so severely degraded that these folks will have trouble finding jobs.
Don’t even think this isn’t happening in the other branches either. There have been hiring freezes all over the place so that it’s been hard for civilians like military spouses to get a leg up in the system. There has also been a shift from active duty personnel doing basic things like maintenance, personnel management to contractors and then to GS employees finally doing it (to save money). In many instances, such shifts have not benefitted the military and have made things worse.
Take into account the “softening” of DADT and more personnel will leave the military (which is what Gates and Mullins want). A high ranking general in the Army spoke out against Gates’ and Mullin’s policy shift (the Pentagon had promised to take its time and examine DADT for the next 9 months why the hurry?). The general asserted that most of the military do not support the “softening” of DADT, contradicting what Gates and Mullins said (they’ve asserted that such a policy reversal is overwhelmingly supported). The general was rebuked and told that if he didn’t support the policies of the military he was free to “leave with his feet” (in other words resign). This is the kind of leadership we now have in the military where a general stands up for the military and is treated so shabily.
The military is being forced by the Obeyme administration to cut people and reverse DADT. This isn’t coming within the military. It’s coming from the White House.

The “great uniter” is the biggest sham in history. His pretty “health care summit” was nothing but a Potemkin Village of deception (thank you Paul Ryan, for fixing that!).
This administration is nothing but lip service and fig leaves.
Prediction: As Hope-a-Dope’s poll ratings go further underwater this year and next year, Hillary will challenge him in 2012 — and win the donk nomination, based on a “Only she can save us from disaster in November.”

I don’t think teh won quite gets that he is not in Kenya, Indonesia, Hawaii or chicago anymore and he is not a gang leader. He is supposed to be the President of the United States. Not the black president, not the socialist president, not the democrat president. He serves us all; he works for all of us, and if he can’t handle that, he either needs to resign or be fired.

Flyoverman, I’m with you on all your posts, but have to part with you on this one. McCain and Graham are leopards whose spots are indelible. They cannot change because it is in the fiber of their being to pander for votes, no matter what. Their amnesty credentials alone disqualify them as conservatives, and no opening of their eyes is going to change their plan to decriminalize illegally crossing our borders.
Furthermore, Graham traded closing Gitmo for military tribunals for KSM and his buddies. He’s just another mover and shaker and I trust him as far as I can throw him. McCain I think is honest, by contrast, but he just can’t stand up to the left. His walk doesn’t equal his talk.
They both have to go.
We need fresh warriors if the GOP is to take this country back to its freedom roots.

It’s too bad NO ONE had the guts to ask Barry Soetoro to prove his eligibilty.
The Senate passed a fig leaf resolution to say John McCain was eligible, even though he’s not, partly to cover up Soetoro’s ineligibilty. Oddly enough, they cited McCain having TWO citizen parents (part of the original meaning of Natural Born Citizen) as the reason he qualified. He was born in Panama, not on a military base, that’s what makes him ineligible. Barry only had one citizen parent, his father was a foreign national. Not a Natural Born Citizen, even IF he was born in Hawaii.
We were given TWO ineligible candidates in the last election. I am proud to say I did not vote for either of them.
The people who refused to hold their noses for the despicable McCain are not the ones who are responsible for Obama. The RNC rigged the primary calender and used Rudy and Fred as diversions to make sure he got the nomination.
It’s Romney’s turn next, ya know…..
And it equally bad that no one has the guts to do anything about it now, Anyone who will take the time to do a little research will soon see that Obama is absolutely not Constitutionally qualified to be president. It’s not a hard thing to do.
Yet even “Conservatives” like Beck, Hannity, Rush, Ann Coulter, and even the courageous lady who runs this website, will not discuss Obama’s obvious lack of eligibility.
This issue is more important than any other…yet it is ignored, left and right, by the media.

I believe that Mc Cain was born in the Canal Zone, which at the time WAS US territory. If you have conclusive proof, like the name of the hospital and/or something that says it was outside the zone, then I will listen.
As regards PeeBO – I will absolutely agree that by virtue of his fathers’ non-citizen status, he would not be a natural born citizen. I am just wondering if the REAL reason he won’t show his b/c is that he is an illegitemate, bastard child of a mother who was sleeping around. Of course, that would mean that he is capable of feeling shame, and that is not anything we have seen thusfar.
And you realize that IF it comes out that he is an illegal president, it all has to be rolled back. That will be a mess, but it must be done.
Yes, the U.S. Constitution is very much worth the “mess” that will occur when the truth is finally revealed.
