Pots, kettles, Maxine Waters, and a reminder about Democrats egging on Code Pink; Updated: “Riot is the voice of the unheard”

By Michelle Malkin  •  April 2, 2010 11:29 AM

I heard one of the funniest April Fools’ jokes yesterday: It was career Democrat demagogue Maxine Waters moaning about the “loud” and “vulgar” voices of the Tea Party movement.

You can watch the video here. Haw, it’s a snort-inducer.

In case you need a reminder about Waters’ history as one of the loudest, most vulgar voices in the House, read my retrospective here.

Waters repeats the tale of Emanuel Cleaver’s spitting incident — which, um, Emanuel Cleaver refuses to tell himself.

As for the laughable claim that Democrats never encouraged the Code Pink mob, reality check:

2005 – Democrats gave disruptive Code Pinkos tickets to Bush inauguration

2006 – Shame on Lynn Woolsey

***

Update: More on Waters’ demagoguery.

And Waters incites the anti-war mob, via NakedEmperorNews — “Riot is the voice of the unheard.”

Great quote sent to me in an email ~

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the presidency. It will be easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to an electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails us. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president. ~ Author Unknown

You have to understand the historical underpinnings (though really irrelvant excuses today) going on here. It doesn’t matter to most/majority of black people how Dems treat them so long as it’s not your closet Archie Bunker redneck, gun-crazy (KKK code-word), Daddy Warbucks master race suppressor Republicans. The operative word/card here is COMPASSION. Race mindset is — who’s your best social savior — who REALLY cares about you; the party that provides you a parachaute/mattress in food, medical and (soon) housing — or the other party that only wants to strip those rights — er, goodies away and leave you hanging (homeless) in the wind? Really — does it take rocket science to tell who’s the baddie here? In a subtle warped way, American socialism via Obama is a kind of defacto “reparations” for the sins of whitey in the past — and you all STILL bear their stains. It’ll never fade. “You all OWE us big-time forever!” (– cut to all the scarred back slave footage to inject more white guilt ans appeasement). Dems, libs, and Chris Matthews and company are aces in constantly scraping this social/historical scab and never letting it heal. It sure didn’t help Conservatives when the biggest brownie point the Dems ever got was a 1st black prez in their bonnet when Republicans could’ve OWNED this claim way back with Colin Powell (yes, I know how he turned out — point is he could’ve been OUR 1st black prez while the iron was HOT had the party REALLY pressured him over his wife). Because of Obama, even claiming to be the party of Lincoln falls lame as a Republican party recruiting point to black Americans. And it’s going to get MUCH MUCH worst as Obamaism hooks this country on free goodies till it’ll never get out. It’s working. Right now the REAL test of the Tea Party is whether that fire will be hot enough by Nov to make any difference at the polls much less repeal. I regret to say I severely doubt it. The fix is in and plunging deeper. The Frog is boiling folks and it’s happy and grateful.

Sorry for any errors, I’m just gushing this on the run.

California’s Primary Election is on June 8.

Here is the list of California candidates:
    http://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/2010-elections/june-2010/june-2010-candidates-list.pdf

Alas, neither Rep. Maxine Waters nor Rep. Lynn Woolsey has a Democrat challenger for the Primary.

Republican K. Bruce Brown will be running against Maxine Waters in November.
For more information see Bruce Brown’s website:
    http://bbrownforcongress.com/index.html

There are 2 Republicans running in the Primary to oppose Lynn Woolsey. So we need to make sure the strongest Republican wins the Primary on June 8.

    1) Jim Judd
    http://www.jimjuddforcongress.com/

    2) Michael Halliwell
    http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&gid=44562266396

    In addition to the Republicans:

Joel Smolen is running as a Libertarian.
    http://smolenforcongress.com/

Eugene E. Ruyle is running as a Peace & Freedom candidate.
    http://www.RuyleForCongress.net

Take a look at the rest of the candidates who are running in California. Pick your favorites and show them some support so we can clean the House and the Senate in 2010!

I love Maxine “those aren’t looters, those are mama’s trying to buy diapers for their babies” Waters.

Her constituents could burn her district down 50 more times and she still wouldn’t snitch on them.

What a profile in courage she is.

I couldn’t find a transcript of what Maxine Waters said on morning joe, so I transcribed some of it myself. Here are some of the choice quotes:

Host: “What exactly outlandish behavior? Specifically what do you mean by that?”
Waters: “The shouting, the over-running of the Capitol, the sneaking in of Tea Party participants into the basement of the Capitol, the name calling, the spitting, all of that.”

When democrats provide tickets to Code Pink to sneak them into the Bush inauguration so they can disrupt with “shouting” and “name calling”, it’s not “outlandish behavior”. You see, when democrats do it, it’s a patriotic exercise of free speech.

“The Tea Party emerges as not only outrageous, but they have turned up the volume in ways that even Code Pink have not been able to do.”

If the Tea Party has “turned up the volume”, it’s only because they are more popular and vastly more numerous than Code Pink. In Maxine’s world, the more the country supports you, the more “outrageous” you must be.

“But I was out on that balcony. I went out to stand and watch to see what was happening. … I was amazed, I really was. I didn’t say anything to anybody. I just watched. The Republicans were out there having a great time. They were laughing, they were waving the American flag, they were egging them on, and I thought that was outrageous behavior. I really did.

    – Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA), Mar 31, 2010

Only those of Maxine’s political persuasion would find it “outrageous behavior” to have a good time laughing, waving the American flag, and egging on others to do the same. It would be an entirely different story if the crowd were having a good time burning the American flag. That would be entirely acceptable and appropriate political speech according to the left.

Just the 156,748,675th exhibit of why a corrupt press is the most dangerous threat to our democracy; more of a threat than any terrorist group. When a political party can lie and demagogue without the slightest fear of challenge by our North Korean style media, it makes it much easier to engage in that fraudulent behavior. When the media itself lies and demagogues, the we are really in trouble. This is where awe are right now.

Code Pink should be called “Code Astroturf”.

Notice how they suddenly are absent now that Obama is running the wars? We are STILL in Iraq and Afghanistan…

The only one of them that was actually honest was Cindy Sheehan. She still opposes the war for her own insane reasons, but at least is consistent in still opposing it now that such opposition is inconvenient to Obama.

Which of course caused the decreasingly “mainstream” media to drop her like yesterday’s Clinton sex scandal. When she camped out in Crawford the media showed up by the hundreds. When she protests the war today she can’t even get enough attention to get arrested.

Didn’t Maxine Waters, I cannot remember the details, make a movie concerning a Government train loaded with guns and ammo deliberately parked in her district so the thugs would rob it thereby causing Government sanctioned gang wars?

Code Pink is nothing more than a left-wing radical group whose sole goal is a communist/marxist nation, with them in charge, of course. Anti-war protests are a means to an end,as is recruiting people, filling their empty heads with garbage, and putting them out as “useful idiots”.

Likely I mentioned this B4 but here’s a perfect example of a similar attitude:
House on a high traffic street here in Kansas City area planted one flag for every soldier killed in Iraq. Flags, sadly thousands were right along the curb. As soon as BHO was elected – not a flag in sight.

Before Maxine Waters got elected Congressman, she was a bag lady pushing a shopping cart around South Central collecting scrap metal and newspapers.

That is how she got elected my friends. People that live in So Cal will know what I mean.
