I have an observation, and take it for what it’s worth…
I travel thru Little Rock daily. Obama signs and bumperstickers were EVERYWHERE. Nowadays, I might see one bumpersticker a week. The luster is lost.
I continue to be disgusted with the shameless shilling of the LSM.
It is my honest belief that opponents of this Administration’s policies are making serious advancement, based on facts, not emotion or flowery rhetoric, which is being noticed by the Gibbels and the rest of the Riefenstahl-like agitprop shop operating out of 1600.
Mr-Get-In-Their-Faces now implores that “the rhetoric be turned down”.
By not discussing the facts? I am sure that would be helpful — avoiding the facts and pesky questions like, where in the Constitution is the authorization to do almost every thing they have shoved through?
Mr-They-Bring-A-Knife-We-Bring-A-Gun would have us dial it back from eleventy — now is the time to press forward to twelve — we have them on the defensive.
Apart from that, I have a nice cup of Kenyan AA going, and we’re getting ready to go out to a community easter egg hunt later this morning.

I have a pet peeve. Even on Fox they are saying, “Happy Holiday” instead of Happy Easter! What the…! Easter is not a “holiday”. What an inappropriate thing to say. I would rather they didn’t say anything at all. A minor peeve, yes. But a peeve just the same!
Today I will be fixing the food to bring tomorrow. Sour cream potatoes and deviled eggs. Totally delicious and everyone devours them!! I have three Easter baskets filled will fun little goodies for my three little cherubs. It is sunny and warm (for April), my bleeding hearts are already blooming, Jesus has Risen, and life is good.
A Happy, Blessed Easter to all!!
Oh, and the Minnesota Twins are playing in their new outdoor stadium!!
No more homer dome. That is a blessed day.

Yes that bothers me too-at BEST they are cowards hoping to not offend the easily offended. For an unbeliever to act thus it is to be expected and accepted-for a Christian to do so is shameful. Are they ashamed of the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ? Christ is ashamed of those ashamed of him. So reply “HE is risen, HE is risen indeed” and perhaps, in Christian love, shame them out of their foolishness.

While getting ready to attend LDS Conf. broadcast at the local chapel, I had some thoughts about a trend I’ve noticed here and on other boards.
Yesterday I commented on the trend, and asked for feedback from those instigators. Since there seems little traffic on that thread and I really want to understand their motivation, (which seems at odds with their stated purpose…) I wanted to repost it here, but rather than do that, I’ll simply ask anyone interested to have a look at it here. I feel that if we are to repair the damage done we need to unify, which makes the question I raised there somewhat important.
I am exceedingly concerned because in looking over the situation I see that the “Republican-At-Any-Cost” people are again trying to drown out other’s conversation, engender panic so that we — the vast, conservative majority — will accept “any ol’Republican” who happens to have a little spare time to lie to us.
When I was a teenager, over 8 decades ago, I learned important point to remember: If the only reason a person can give for doing something is one with only a “fear-imperative” as its justification, and no supporting logic, it probably isn’t a good idea base your judgments on it!
We can see where we’ve gotten into trouble with this modus: if we had thumped the “R”s a few election cycles ago, instead of at the last Presidential election the leadership wouldn’t have orchestrated “The McCain” as its candidate. Those who castigate other people for voting their conscience in that election are arguing from weakness and generally devolve into “Thank you for BO!” finger pointing.
This is ridiculous on its face: If the “R”s cared about winning, instead of growing government, they wouldn’t have opened the primaries in various states in order to have a sufficient base to elect a candidate who’s strongest statement was that he had serious problems with his own party’s ideas — but thought that the Progressive-crat’s ideas were just peachy, and he had no problem supporting those planks. Or who said that O would make a “fine President”, probably better than he could. If this is the apex of R-”Leadership”, they deserve to lose each and every election forever — but we do not deserve the governance such a party would foist on us.
When I read people saying that “no matter what, we MUST elect Republicans!”, I am forced to wonder: Do they mean Republicans like McCain, or Romney (by-the-way: whose obvious Socialist “flirtations” are at odds with our Church’s statements on Communism and Socialism — which every President of our church railed against up to the time the IRS threatened to revisit the Confiscation Era…). Do they mean Repubs like Newt, who think Massive Oppressive Government – as long as the controllers have an “R” after their title – is dandy? Perhaps they want “Compassionate” Conservatism… You know, where we let the other side beat Conservative Ideas & Ideals senseless, never lifting a finger while they do that “Compassionate” person work of giving Conservatism a bad name?
Just what type of “R”s are we supposed to “hold our noses” for – Spectors, Snows & Jeffords-types?
I really want to know!
I want to know, because I’ve read General George Washington’s Warning. I’ve watched the two parties consolidate power and sculpt the laws to freeze-out any but their people. Did people REALLY believe that GWB hadn’t spoken with SCOTUS about McCain’s Jewels: CFR? That he was certain they’d be struck down? If you are The Chief Exec, under your oath YOU have an obligation NOT to sign laws you believe are unconstitutional and or damage the Constitution into law: that is why we have the veto, the pocket-veto & Congress voting to over-ride a veto! Are we such simpletons that we cannot judge a man by his actions? Are you kidding me?

Even if Obama wasn’t born there, why would Michelle consider that his home country? He is the President of the UNITED STATES. Shouldn’t that be the “home country” of the POTUS?? I pray every day for his defeat so we can start mending this beautiful country that he has broken.

I’m sure there will be an excuse for what she said, but for anyone who cares to do a little research, there is overwhelming evidence that Obama is ineligible, for more than one reason.
Amazing how this is allowed to stand, and even conservatives won’t pursue it, or worse, try to slap down their fellow conservatives that are willing to try to force the truth from the “Mystery president.”
There is nothing more important, not health care, not cap and trade, not amnesty…nothing is more important than forcing the truth on this issue.

Obama does not know how to tone it down. He is still on his daily campaign mode. He has not learned how to lead, how to take responsibility for his policies and actions. I do not believe he is learning on the job. He is all out to make life miserable for all of us. Haven’t yet seen any change or improvement from the ugly path he is taking. Doesn’t he know that change has to start with him? The good change, that is. None of his ideas are applicable to our capitalist and free society.

I agree, and it is troubling that even our hostess, MM doesn’t want to address the issue. But I guess the ridicule by the left has been effective. They are so good at that!! We can cut a little bit of slack for Fox on the issue of ‘Happy Easter’ – because Passover doesn’t end until April 5th (I think).
Other than that, I’m having a great day wearing my bunny sweater and getting ready to brave the hoards of shoppers at Costco. Do king crab legs sound good for tomorrow on the bar-b-que? I’m not doing a leg of lamb because it’s leftovers grow in the refrigerator.

I thought of that too…it is still Passover. So why not say “Happy Easter and Happy Passover”? ANYTHING but “Happy Holidays”!! Or nothing at all. I know people just want to do the right thing, but we are allowing the looney libs to dictate what is acceptable to say. I refuse to give in to their garbage.
And yes…King crab legs on the barby…wow!!! We are having ham and I love it. But crab legs sounds amazing!
What are some of the food traditions in your families…everyone? Just curious. Do most of you have lamb or ham? We have ham, sour cream potatoes, deviled eggs, some kind of vegetable casserole, fruit, raw veggies and dip, bing cherry jello mold with cream cheese
pies, and a huge Easter egg hunt for the kiddies. Weather in Bloomington, MN tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and about 60 degrees. NICE!! Tomorrow will be a POLITICAL-FREE day!! Too many moonbats in our family and we could end up killing each other…not a nice thing to do on Easter Sunday! 
Interesting comment yes-also very reveling on who these people are: Internationalist ashamed of America and her history. In the case of the Obama’s throw in Black Nationalism and “a certain perverse pleasure in resenting his mother’s race” and you have a POTUS who wishes to lay America low. Add in “for the first time in my life I am proud of America” and you know you are in a fight for you very life.
These people ARE friends of Bill Ayres and fellow leftist. The Obama’s and their court would have no problem at all building the camps to “kill 25 million unrepentant capitalist“: to them it is but a matter of timing and logistics. Yes that Christian Obama who denies Heaven and the Deity of Christ. If the Obama’s would relocate to the country of his choice he would not be missed.
We might not “prove” anything, but I don’t believe it’s impossible to literally force an open discussion, in the media, of this issue. All we need is enoough people to speak out about it and demand that the discussion occur.
Succumbing to Akinsky and shutting up is not the way to handle the most important Constitutional issue of modern times.

As soon as someone says “birther”, it sets off warning signals and is associated with “flat earthers” and “9/11 truthers”. That is what they wanted and that is what they got, even though there is NO comparison.

Actually if Jews and Christians calculated the phases of moon and both followed the Biblical instructions for calculating the date for Passover, and also therefore Easter, the dates would always coincide(The Crucifixion occurred during, or at the end of, the Passover celebration). The Last Supper was Christ and the Disciples celebrating the feast of unleavened bread for Passover.

The Passover is the first part, followed by 7 days of Unleavened Bread. The Last Day of Unleavened Bread is also a holy day.
Jesus died on the same day, time, as the Jewish people were killing the Passover lambs. That served the purpose for all future Passovers: no more lambs to be killed, or de-leavening one’s house. He did it for us.
I can’t tolerate BOR anymore. I quit watching him over a year ago. Happy Easter weekend everyone!

Whatever the reasons, and I suspect the story is involved, the consequences are all too apparent and dire. If you want to be on Fox and certainly if you want to have a gig on Fox, you will either say nothing or adhere to the Official Line: Islam is peaceful, Islam is your friend. Sure there is an incredibly tiny group of “jihadists,” whatever that is, who do bad things, but they will go away soon. As soon as Isreal does, in fact. “Conservatives” such as Glen Beck, Charles Krauthammer, and Michael Fumento (who desperately wants to be welcome on Fox) all now the spout the line. “Right-wing” Fumento will even add a dash of Tea-Partier hate for you to sweeten the deal.
Juan McCain wasn’t some secret plot to nominate a sure loser. First of all, Bush’s popularity was low, and since his VP was Dick Cheney, who was old, had multiple previous heart attacks, and had no interest in being POTUS, there wasn’t an obvious pseudo-incumbent.
Aside- if BHO keeps “assasination insurance” Biden in 2012, he plans to serve like FDR, for life. Serve being not quite the right word. Rule, I guess, is better. I suspect he’ll go the old socialist/corrupt PRI model in Mexico, which worked until the split between the corrupt and the Marxists became too great, and the party splintered into the corrupt PRI and the Marxist PRD. He’ll handpick a successor. Obama is race obsessed, it appears. Deval Patrick. Jesse Jackson Junior? Maybe a real dimbulb like my Congresstard, Sheila Jackson-Lee, so he can continue to be de facto ruler behind the scenes. Keeping Biden means he isn’t planning on stepping down.
Back to Juan. He was one of two RINO-ish candidates. Giuliani wasn’t a good natural campaigner in New Hampshire, and put all his eggs in the Florida basket. Open primaries allowed ‘moderates’ and some Dems in certain states to vote, and they mostly voted for the media darling McCain.
Now, Huckster was a social conservative but a big La Raza Open Borders liberal and economic populist, (he made a miraculous conversion on open borders), Romney talked the conservative talk perfectly but didn’t walk the walk when governor of Massachusetts, Fred got in late and half hearted, and real conservatives like Duncan Hunter didn’t have money or exposure.
3 men claiming to be conservative splitting the conservative vote against one moderate/RINO.
The National GOP had nothing to do with it.
Now, the lesson of open primaries should have been learned, and if Steele is as useless as he appears, and we still have open primaries, if Obama doesn’t have a serious (not Kucinich or Gravel) challenge from within his party, Democrats will again have a prominent role in picking our 2012 candidate.
But unless they choose Olympia Snowe, which means I’ll get drunk til I pass out on election night and not bother voting, and consider what country to move to when my hangover lifts, I’m not voting for some Ron Paul approved liberalatarian in the race to split the anti-Obama vote and give Obama four more years to destroy America.
Haven’t done it yet, but been meaning to send a second fax to Dr. Coburn, begging him to form an exploratory commission for 2012.
I sure don’t want to vote for Romney in 2012, but I sure will if he is facing Obama in November.
I won’t give more power to the new Stalin just to teach Lindsay Graham and Juan McCain a lesson.

The lovely and talented Mrs. Malkin struck me as rather shrill and strident when she’d be on ‘The Mclaughlin Group’.
But since one has to yell to be heard over Eleanor Clift, who never ceases to interrupt, it was hard not to be loud and shrill.
Plus, Mrs. Malkin has a few more years of maturity on her side. Yet is still lovely and talented.
She is at her best when some libtard is shrieking at her. She is the voice of reason. Give her O’Reilly’s slot, I say.

I’ve grown tired of BOR. Still watch from time to time but don’t make a point to tune in. After BO mopped the floor with BOR in that pre-election interview, he is not as strong as I thought.
Fox Entertainment TV is viciously pro-Demonrat. Murdoch is in it for the money.
He was a Hillary fundraiser.
But being the only center/center-right cable news channel when all the broadcast and cable news channels are somewhere between center-left and over the top left (MSLSD) and about, or slightly over half, the country is center, center-right or right in their politics, half the TV watching market undivided is a sure money winner versus 5 or 6 channels splitting half the market.
I’d imagine Fox stays generally center/center-right.
I wonder if some of the less insane members of the Kos Kiddies Klub feel about Olbermann the same way I do about O’Reilly?

But rest assured, real Americans will awaken from their catatonic state, elect someone with some leadership ability and some vision of how the world should be, and we will rise from the ashes that Pbo and pals have created in their destruction of America.
America is more than people. It is an idea, a dream, a goal. No “leader” can destroy that. They can make it hard to succeed, but victory must be our goal, and if that victory comes incrementally – by defeating ignorant and wrong thinking congresscritters and senators first, taking back the legislative branch and then electing a President of the United States who loves this country more than a photo op, or a chance to suck up to any special interest group, foreign power or personal goal – then that is what we must do. Nothing worth having comes without effort. That which is obtained cheaply has little value. It is only those who have lost their freedoms or who have fought for freedom who truly appreciate the cost and worth of freedom. N’est ce pas?
On a bit of a religious note: Happy Easter to all. Remind your children why it is a day for joyous celebration – He is risen. And I do not mean the obamessiah!

Was it displeasure or an absolute moral impossibility to vote McCain? Not voting McCain was only part of the problem-staying home altogether and we lose both chambers.
But I wonder if McCain had of won would we be better off? Are his proposals only somewhat less radical and more likely to pass? A more efficient, cost effective statist in not all that attractive. Many of us voted for the less radical Richard Nixon and he expanded every one of LBJ’s programs, stopedp the bombing of North Viet Nam when we had the punks on the ropes and sucked up to China.

The global fascist regime wouldn’t be very productive. The elites grossly underestimate how much of the world’s wealth is produced by so few. They would soon find themselves fighting among themselves to thin out the top as the riches dwindle. The main attraction of wealth distribution to these people is as a way to buy themselves into power. But collapsing economies quickly run out of wealth to redistribute, especially at the top this the need to cull the ranks who feel entitled to the lion’s share.
Once there is nowhere to run, people will resist and ultimately stand and fight. It is the same principle that makes armies fight to the death in places like Normandy.
The future for the world will be very grim if America as we know it ceases to exist. Better that we stand and fight today when we can still win without bloodshed.

Fox News is not right wing, it may appear to be when comparing them to the soups channels and other cable news programs. Fair and Balanced, may be depending on what program your viewing, but they are not right wing.
Folks we need to face that “things” are going to be all over the place in the run up to 2010′s elections and 2012′s. Basically believe nothing you read or hear. Get busy locally, support folks locally, pick conservative candidates to support for federal offices in 2010 and 2012 and work for them and contribute to them. And then STAY THE COURSE.
Do not get caught up in all the distractions that are going to grow in intensity and frequency.
Keep in balance and do not let the momentum of the conservative movement spin itself into destruction.

Barack’s own campaign web site referred to “his Kenyan citizenship“. His wife calls Kenya his “home country“. And the Official Report of the Kenyan National Assembly Wednesday, 5th November, 2008, said:

Thanks…I believe the speech is from 2006, which explains why Mrs. O has no problem saying Barry’s home country is Kenya. The conversion to being born in Hawaii did not begin until after presidential aspirations were well underway, sometime in 2007…after that openly stating Barry was born in Kenya became a no-no.

Two things are required to put the eligibility issue to rest:
1) Official documentation, certified by and released under seal from the State of Hawaii, proving that Barack Hussein Obama II was born at Kapi’olani Medical Center in Hawai‘i at 7:24 PM on August 4, 1961, to Barack Hussein Obama and Stanley Ann Dunham Obama.
2) If a hospital birth certificate verifies Obama’s “birth narrative”, then the Courts (up to and including the Supreme Court) must weigh in on whether someone born on U.S. soil, to parents who are not both U.S. Citizens, can be considered a “natural born citizen” of the United States of America.
If both 1) and 2) happen in Obama’s favor, then this issue is over.
Until then, it is very much alive.
So far, Obama has failed to verify his “birth narrative”. There has been no official, original documentation released to prove that he was born at Kapi’olani Medical Center in Hawai‘i.
Yes, there is the COLB that was produced at and by the Obama campaign headquarters in Chicago, but many believe that is a forgery, and it does not prove that Obama was born where he claims (at Kapi’olani Medical Center).
Also, the COLB says “date filed by Registrar”, not “date accepted by Registrar”. That is significant, and suggests that a family member, not a hospital, reported his birth to the state. I believe that that reported birth was not “verified” to the state of Hawaii until the U.S. House of Representatives passed H. RES. 593.
I see that Stevens will retire soon from SCOTUS. I wonder what tax-dodger/left-wing activist will take his seat?
