   Exactly!! So far, the government has had a lot of meetings and spewed a lot of good-sounding talking points that accomplished nothing! This administration is really good at that, with Obama’s endless “summits” and “break-out sessions”. A bunch of all talk-no action. The Bush administration did it too. It is time for ACTION and it looks like maybe, just maybe this time something will be accomplished. We’ll see. It doesn’t matter how many people rally around an issue…if the government isn’t interested, than forget it. So far, most of the State governments and all of the Federal Government have been uninterested in actually doing something, in spite of their empty promises.

    From U.S. Const. Art I, Sec 10:

    No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

    I think the situation going on in border states like Arizona or here in Texas clearly qualifies as “such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay,” especially since Congress and Dear Leader have shown they don’t give a…uh, hoot.

    Gov. Perry has taken some steps, sending Texas National Guard choppers and ordering TxDPS SWAT on standby. It would be nice to see all the border states do this and more and prepare to defend what Washington won’t.
