The Crashers: They came, they saw, they failed
You were ready for the Tea Party saboteurs. And boy, did they fail epically. Saul Alinsky would be ashamed.
Grass-roots activists smoked out the infiltrators — and tagged them immediately.
Reader Celeste in Columbus, Ohio, sends photos of a great comeuppance. Check out the Captain Obvious crasher getting called out for attempting to paint their peaceful protest as an incitement to violence and faking a vile sign:

More members of the Crasher Corps in Sacramento via reader Rob. The red guerilla mask and sunglasses are really ingenious:

This fine fellow literally crashed the stage and was whisked away:

***
As for that Crash the Party loser Jason Levin, he’s been put on paid leave from his middle-school teaching job in Beaverton, Oregon, and the state education board continues to investigate:
A state board will investigate whether a Beaverton teacher was on his own time or using state resources while he organized liberals to crash Oregon tea parties.
On Thursday, Jason Levin was put on paid leave by the Beaverton School District.
Levin has gotten national attention for a “Crash the Tea Party” Web site that called for opponents to infiltrate the events and behave outlandishly. That raised suspicion he was doing political work during schools hours.
Beaverton School District spokeswoman Maureen Wheeler confirmed Levin was placed on paid administrative leave as of Thursday while they conduct an internal investigation into his actions during work time.
Behold: Self-sabotage.

Ed Frank sends video of Tea Party folks confronting an ignorant heckler trying to disrupt the D.C. Tea Party with his fantasy land chant that “no one’s raising taxes right now!” Reality check:

Save those “INFILTRATOR” signs. These people aren’t going to give up.

» Barack Obama: Can we call him a Socialist now?

“Useful idiots” that have to use emotion because they lack the logic or knowledge. Rule one for living, for them, is “if it feels good to me, it must be good”. Consequences are never considered. You’ll find them anywhere there is a camera so they can try to get their “15 seconds of fame”. Such people are failures in life, because of the emptiness inside.
Was there ever any doubt?
Seriously.

Ridicule is ridcule. Both sides use it. Don’t like it but it isn’t likely to change any time soon.
Great job we had 4 protesters at my tea party. i’d mocked them in my speech.
Hahaha – he’s surrounded.
“Hope for the rope” – there were Columbia University Professors there?
I hear crashers taste just like chicken
A good day… it even looks like the school teacher who started the lame (and from what I can tell ALL white) anti-TEA movement has been reduced to scrubbing the CrashTheTeaParty website and instead using it to hawk t-shirts that nobody’s going to buy. Hey, he’s got to pay the rent somehow after he gets fired.
I love the smell of FAIL in the morning!
You asked them what day of the week it was?
These guys have no idea what makes us so effective. They see signs and well-behaved and believe we are timid and stupid. We have one big thing going for us that they don’t have and explains why our ranks are growing in leaps and bounds: we are “cool”.
They are an embarrassment for the vast majority of Americans who identify with us and share our concerns. These libs are not going to discredit us with childish tactics. We represent the majority and are either related or are close friends with most other Americans. Our support is very personal.
But not with anywhere near equal levels of accuracy.
What a bunch of toolbags these libtards are.
Pray they don’t. They have hit rock bottom and started to dig. They still have the thug card to play. I hope they are smart enough to realize how much they stand to lose if they do.
Ridicule is ridicule.
And sabotage is sabotage.
One side uses ridicule and the other side attempts to use sabotage.
Tell us again how it’s the same.
Ummm, ridicule is not about accuracy, it is about making fun of your opponent. Exagerration and sarcasm are crucial. Yes, an element of the truth should exist, yet when the ridicule goes over the top and over the line it is what it is and serves to diminish the opponent, which is the objective of ridicule and not accuracy.
I’d wave at them and told them hi haters.
Just got back for the North Houston Tax Day TEA Party.
Estimated 10,000 attended. It was AWESOME!
I had my Infiltrator sign ready, but didn’t need it.
*I saw no infiltrators at a rally here in Tennessee; Although they are a small minority, we know they will continue to get their orders from within the White House, from ACORN, and from SEIU and other union thug groups, so we must continue to be vigilant, all the way to the ballot box!
Crashers were abundant at the downtown Chicago rally. People just surrounded them with their own signs and flags and crowded them out. One Tea Partier walked around with an “I’m a Plant” sign and put it above any crashers he encountered. Two female crashers allegedly stated they were part of the Coffee Party. All in all very nonviolent on our part. I’m very impressed by the maturity and restraint of my fellow Tea Party people. Big crowd with a LOT more black people and young people than last year. Word is spreading. We are making history one day at a time. Keep up the fight.
So that excludes the saboteurs signs.
Thank you. Next issue.

Come on Michelle. I didn’t say anything on the Barack thread that was out of order. What gives?
corkie,
Dealing with this troll is like avoiding panhandlers. No eye contact, don’t engage them.
He’s never wrong and is willing to respond to each and every post directed at him in an attempt to drag out the conversation.
Great job!
The liberal media will just crop out what they want. Like the video claiming to be a white racist carrying an assault weapon at a rally. It was actually a black guy, lol
Priceless, classy and effective!
Bravo to the infiltrator squads! Quarantine the disease!
Notice that the only way to get racism, ignorance, and thuggery into a Tea Party meeting is to import liberal/socialist Democrats?
The sign was pretty pathetic too!
Not true. He hasn’t responded to one of my comments in over a year. He didn’t want me to make him look stupid anymore.
Both sides: I think you’re all a bunch of morons. I’m fairly young and cannot think of a single person to look up to. How sad.
Just a thought here. All y’all mocked my derision of the scurrilous Icelandic “people.”
But look at what they are doing now. They have literally shut down air travel for almost an entire continent, while conveeeeeeeniently having its main airport unaffected and in operation.
WHEN WILL YOU ALL WAKE UP!!! THEY HATE US FOR OUR FREEDOMS AND TEMPERATE CLIME!!!
I do have to say…
If I were to be an infiltrator (not that I would, dear reader), but hypothetically, if I was so pathetic and needy of attention that I had nothing better to do than insert myself into a situation or place where my viewpoint was totally contrary and unappreciated, and my tone derisivae and mocking, merely for kicks and giggles at the expense of fine upstanding individ–… uhhh…ahhh…forget it.

Please continue with your ramblings Chap.
Meanwhile… pass the Contador Red Rioja.
I’m not a moron. Look up to me.
I still have no answer from our hostess on the comment problem.
Of course…. I shouldn’t expect an answer anyway.
I liked the sign saying: “This person is not part of our group”, with the red arrow. Leave it to conservatives to come up with the coolest imaginative, and most effective signs. I can’t wait to join up next month when I leave the wilderness for civilization!
Okay.
I don’t have any Rioja, Contador or otherwise, to offer right now. But I do have a charming Georges DuBouef Morgon Domaine Mont Chavy. Don’t let anyone tell you Beaujolais can’t make good wine. And don’t judge the entire region by that swill known as Beaujolais Nuveau. I buy exactly one bottle of that every year, and invariably end up regretting it.
Heard the Rally in Manhattan had some ACORN people and that the most of the spattering of Anti-Tea Party Protesters seemed drunk (that coming from a bartender who can spot a drunk pretty quickly) and their vocabulary was limited to mostly profanity.
Although I disagree with some of what you post… remember our CBO spat last year?… I know you are MENSA material.
What year is best? Also… are we talking with a little chill or room temp?
I’ll be here all night. I’m a little depressed this evening. I had to do some layoffs today. My industry has been hit hard. It hurts me deeply to let good people go. I know their families. My kids play with their kids. We have cookouts together. I probably won’t be sleeping tonight. Might as well shoot the poop.
The video is priceless. Typical Obama follower, no one is raising taxes, because Obama said so in his latest campaign email/sppech. Waaahhhhh! Waaah!
I am going to bed, but I do want to address one thing. What we consider “room temperature” is too warm for reds. This is about 72 degrees. At this temp, any bitterness and acidity will be pronounced. Most reds will taste much better at around 63-68. The lighter the red, the cooler on that scale. You don’t need to whip out a thermometer. Just stick it in the fridge for about 15-20 minutes. I actually like to go a bit cooler on that scale and then see how the wine develops as it warms a bit.
Same thing with whites. If they are served right out of the fridge, they will be so cold so as to kill any nuance. So take them out of the fridge about 15 minutes before serving. And I like to keep then out of a chiller for the same reason as I said above. It is interesting to track the flavor as it gradually warms a bit.
Thanks for the tips Chap.
Oh, and sorry about your day. That, no doubt, sucks.
If you want to explore Beaujolais, which is a very approachable red wine for people that don’t think they like reds, skip the basic stuff (which tends to be gamey and uninteresting) and spend a couple dollars more on a Beaujolais-Villages, which is blended from the grapes of the 10 or so best villages in the region. And, for a few dollars more, you can get a Cru Villages, which means it is from one specific village. Morgon (which is what I was drinking) is one. Moulin a Vent is another great one.
Chap…
Thank you sir.
Infiltrator.
Molon Labe ( Μολὼν λαβέ )will quite make your day.
Chap, I don’t know if you saw this before when I posted it. When you mentioned that you live in the general vicinity of D.C., I wanted to bring this place to your attention.
For Montgomery County, it has a very good selection and the Friday Night Flights are the reason I developed my love for Argentinian wines.
And the protesters were so adorable! They tried so hard to make a difference. Hope they got a medal for the attempt.
You need to switch to Italian wines and dental hygienists.
Not that there’s anything wrong with your dental hygiene, it’s just that this one…never mind…
True Chap. Iceland has always been a plot.
Clueless or a liar this lad needs a nap. If he doesn’t learn to control himself he might grow up to be a troll.
And thanks to Iceland for shutting down Europe’s Airports; can you good people do anything about California?
None have an original thought…only followers.
We, on the other hand, are guided by our constitution, and proceed forward with originality that flows out of our will to be free.
We had two liberals try these stunts at our TEA Party in Greensboro, NC…
..(one held up a “White Supremacist” sign)
….Their signs were taken down and the police took them out immediately.
…It was a joke of an epic fail that did nothing to douse the patriotic spirit of thousands of people standing up for the Constitution.
…..Hundreds and Thousands of people saw Patriotic Americans standing up for their beliefs across the country…not “racist, nazis’s”……
…..very bad day for the democratic party. There manufactured “racist, militant” tag took a severe beating yesterday in the eyes of Americans.
You mean that’s not you in the embedded vid? (the poor fellow’s parroting the same line as your tax comments). Dang, I thought we had our first Chap video footage.
Well, if Katla goes off, it could cause problems as far as California. And it will make temperatures drop worldwide as well. Everyone wins!
Great gobs of Giggles this morning and a bag of kudos to the TEA people who had signs ready for the infiltrators. A great early morning surprise …thanks
We had one young guy holding a sign that said, “Stupid” with an arrow pointing toward us.
We also had one drunk who had taken his teeth out so he wouldn’t lose them after drinking who, while weaving back and forth said, “God bless Obama”.
The only interaction with them was when I mentioned to the young guy that the Constitution is not stupid and he ought to read it sometime.
I love the signs pointing to the infiltrator posted here. Awesome!
Liberal “logic” I know it’s not quite logic if there is no reasoning attached?….anyway in this case the liberal “logic” is really out there
“lets show up the TEA people as a bunch of racists…they don’t seem to have any racists….so we will send in some of OUR racists and have them try to blend in with decent people?….”
Is that a typical liberal plan totally devoid of reasoning or what?
Epic fail of the left!
Another “sign” of what is to come in the next few Novembers!!!
“We won’t be fooled again!”
… (The Who, out of context, but pertinent)
Love the smack down of the maroons by the Tea Party Patriots.
Great signs to weed them out from MSM’s discerning eye for this type of buffoonery.
Infiltrator = Infiltraitor.
What is the advantage of Italian hygienists?
We’ve gathered that.
Can’t vote straight either.
PRO TIP: If you’re wearing a man-purse, you’re not fooling anyone at a conservative political rally.
As as usual with the libs he uses name calling because he can’t debate the issues.
A National Day of No Work should be coordinated. It cannot be a sick day or vacation day – taxes are still taken out because workers are still paid. This has to be a No Pay Day. This will be hard on a lot of people, like me, but I can pinch the pennies to do it. Every single person takes a no pay day. One day, only one day – watch the vermin in Washington scream.
The infiltrating wine snob gets too much deference here. Unless you’ve read some of his older posts, you should be more careful with your affections.
Well, it looks like pressure on the school system has produced a reaction toward this nut case (Jason Levin). Glad to see it. I hope he losed his job.
Boone’s Farm’s Tickled pink is another fine wine you should explore. I would advise you to stay away from MADDOG 2020
chicagojedi@24
I was also there. The thing was that ‘our’ made no bones about who they were. I just loved the broad with the ‘abortion liberates women’ sign. When I asked her how abortion liberates unborn women she gave me an angry look.
I should have said ‘our plants’.
Proof-reading is my friend.
Boone’s Farm’s Tickled pink is another fine wine you should explore. I would advise you to stay away from MADDOG 2020
Night Train is another fine wine. Its has an after taste of a good Riot while its emboldened and aggressive subtleties are not overshadowed by its impudence.
It’s really kinda hard to get enraged about wine preferences, happy2behere.
Naw, you’re taking Chappy wrong, happy – think of the title of documentary on the “global warming” scam; “Not Evil, Just Wrong”. And on non-political topics that don’t involve taking the Left’s party line, his 2 cents can sometimes actually be pretty good.
Oh nooooos! Someone thinks I am a wine snob! Never mind the fact that I rarely, if ever, discuss wines with a price point of over 25 or so dollars (because what is the point? Most people don’t ever spend that much on a bottle outside of a restaurant. And if you think that stupid thing between WarEagle and I over Barbera d’Asti has anything to do with snobbery, I can assure you, it does not. It has everything to do with my genuine animosity toward that empty shell of an individual and his rudeness and dismissiveness of advice he himself solicited.
Anyway, the real wine snob here is WarEagle’s BFF, YTZGal, who said she would never be bothered with a wine that scores ONLY an 87 from Wine Spectator. Never mind that that is a very very good score that probably less than 10% of their reviewed wines achieve.
At least I give solid, approachable advice. Ask her for a wine pairing and she will give some silly, rambling lecture about how you clearly are a pseudo-intellectual because you have some notion that some wines generally actually do taste better with certain foods, and that you can never truly know a good wine pairing until you have made sweet sweet love with the vintner in the actual soil from whence the wine came.
I’m not sure if I’m outraged that he is being paid to not work, or happy that he is being paid to stop indoctrinating kids with liberal tripe.
Oft times Chap, I’ve wanted your opinion on a semi-sweet that I absolutely love. It’s only $12.00/bottle and it’s grown locally. I’m no wine connoisseur but I do like this stuff…
Funny thing. I used to detest wines that even hinted of sweetness. But my tastes have definitely changed in that regard. I can thank German Reislings for that. But unfortunately, I am still woefully uninformed about what is good out there in semi-sweet land.
But I will say this about local wines. I don’t know where you live, misscheryl, but the quality of stuff from outside Cali/Oregon/Washington is actually pretty good, and getting better. About a decade ago, I went on a tour of some Virginia wineries and walked away relatively unimpressed, especially for what seemed to be consistently $18-$25 a bottle. But even in just that short time I have noticed the quality increasing. And just a few weeks ago I tried some wines from a local vineyard in MD and was pretty impressed. Maybe I had low expectations.
I still do think you pay a bit of a premium for local wines, but if the vineyard is careful about what grape they use and what style they make (i.e., don’t try to be California) there certainly is some quality out there in unexpected locations. Last high end restaurant I went to here in MD, actually had a Rhode Island wine on the list (Sakonnet Vineyards, which I have visited. Very pretty, OK wines).
Chap, I live in Oklahoma and this winery is called Tidal Schools. They have many, many kinds of wines, merlots, chardonnay, and some award winning wines as well. My personal favorite is called “Oklahoma Sweet.” Maybe someday you’ll get a chance to try some of their wines. Who knows, when Oklahoma seceedes you probably won’t want to live up north anymore knowing how conservative you are. Oh wait….
“secedes” I thought I fixed that.
Purple – I dont get enraged over wine, as I do not drink any alcohol, preferring to keep the few brain cells I have left.
Of course, the infiltrator is entertaining and should stay in the blog. I just cringe sometimes when a few here embarrassingly gush over the witty retorts and dont see the subtle condesenion.
As for me, when he equated gay activist Harry Hay with Thomas Jefferson a few months ago, it was just too much. But gush away if you so choose.
Condescension, missed the misspelling, sorry.
WOW h2b – no condescension in your post.
At one time my feeling about chappy was way-way right of yours, but over a period of several years my feeling towards him has changed alot. If you think of him as “The devils advocate” of the blog u’ll probably change your way of thinking about him.
P.S.
This article is racist and it’s GB fault.(MSNBC are you watching)
Was that the one where I said was that it is pretty hypocritical for posters to condemn someone for apparently finding some wisdom in a person who was also a member of NABLA, when plenty here find a slave owner inspiring.
And then, as I recalled, everyone scrambled to justify Jefferson’s behavior, and thus their contradictory position on his worthiness of admiration, through a moral relativist argument (“It was legal at the time!”).
Is that the one?
Well, that’s what folks are BSing about here – wine. Happy, I think if you leave your grievances about something that a commenter said in “Thread Z” in Thread Z, you’ll be much “happier”.
I suspect everyone here has had a disagreement with everyone else here at one time or another. But it’s not a healthy thing to pack such things in an emotional suitcase and carry it around forever.
Besides, why would you want to give Chappy (or anyone) your goat to keep on a personal basis? When you do that then they win and you lose.
So what I’m sayin’ is while getting steamed happens to most all of us, letting go is a wise thing to practice.
How do you feel about Hitler making the trains run on time?
Has anybody mentioned Bali Hai or Boonesfarm Strawberry yet? Now them wuz some fine-drinkin’ wines.
Ha! I can remember stuffing a pack of Boonesfarm Apple wine in the vent box of my ’66 Mustang and it would be all nice and frosty by the time I got to the High School parking lot! Mmmm! Mmmm! Mmmm!
Ohhh-yeah – add a sixpack of GBX and that brings back some memories!
I wonder if the same phenomenon is present on the right? I’ve yet to hear or see anything around folks on the right “infiltrating” the rallies/protests/clusters of the left-leaning.
There’s something about that side of the spectrum that simply can’t tolerate opinions that are contrary to their own.
Case in point, this blog. MM allows folks who vehemently disagree with her to comment with impunity here but yet you can’t truly find the same of the left without finding yourself banned.
Why is that so often the case?
I think it’s really pretty simple, Major. Liberals are driven by emotion, whereas conservatives prefer reason and logic. Emotional-based arguments do not tend to fare very well at all against rational, reason based ones.
You’ll find the very rare exception to that rule (i.e. a conservative who argues from emotion or a liberal who can keep his emotions in check long enough for a sentence or two). But such would be the case of the “exception that proves the rule.”.
Apple wine! Oh I had forgotten all about that stuff. Apple wine…hahahahaha! Thanks for the memory RC!
How do you feel about Jefferson owning slaves?
Yes, it was that conversation. The same where one where I did not defend Jefferson’s slave owning, and where you said you would explain (Harry Hay advocated for NAMBLA) your reasoning further – and you didn’t.
Thus, my subsequent cautionary posts. As for those who have chimed in, the above speaks for itself.
Sorry I think it was Mussolini who made the trains run on time.
Happy,
I went back to the thread and realized I did leave you hanging. Sorry. For what its worth I just posted a response based on what I think I was going to say, to the best of my ability.
No fair, I axed you first!
Making sure the trains arrive on time was a byproduct of his oppression and subjugation. Not a good in and of itself. Therefore, not an appropriate analogy. That would be like pointing out that Hitler eradicated Alzheimer’s Disease among the Jews. Well yeah…but only because he killed them all.
What we are talking about is whether you can compartmentalize two separate aspects of a person, to ignore the evil in favor of an independent good.
To follow up, a better analogy would be whether one can objectively admire Hitler’s art. He wasn’t entirely untalented in that regard.
But in any case, neither Jefferson or Hay should really be in the same discussion with Hitler.
Hot Air has a video of a guy who crashed the rally in St. Louis MO. Supposedly a white supremist. Hard to figure if he is the real deal or not.
Now the ones shown here are clearly leftist.
Sometime between now and November, there will be a incident of some kind. It cannot be avoided. Should that occur, hopefully it will be instigated by the left and well documented by cameras. It will have to be in order to make it impossible for the MSM to ignore.
While the dinosaur media might not ignore such a story, they would spin it their way regardless of the evidence. They are in control of the cameras that provide the footage they report on. They can make the pictures look exactly like they want them to. There are still millions of useful idiots in this country that believe that what the dinosaur media reports is what actually happened.
awwwww…
I see atheling thinks it is okay to enslave people so long as you feel somewhat conflicted about it.
That is super progressive of you. I am sure that Jefferson’s tortured conscience was really comforting to those black folks he owned.
I also think it is absolutely adorable that atheling thinks Sally Hemings was just a pretty face that was super excited about being Jefferson’s “hostess” rather than a SLAVE that had no ability to effectively object to her use as a hostess or sexual object, whether she was willing or not.
What legal rights did she possess under Jefferson’s ownership, atheling?
At least I am not an apologist for slavery, you pathetic tool.
