What Would Jesus Do? Vote Against Nancy Pelosi, For Starters

Nancy Pelosi recently told the Catholic Community Conference that she has a duty to pursue public policies in keeping with the values of Jesus.
Pelosi repeatedly referenced “The Word.” She didn’t, however, tell anyone that the word is “crazy,” but this video makes that quite evident:
Kind of like watching Jack Kevorkian trying to gain the trust of attendees at an AARP convention, isn’t it?
“The word was made flesh” — unless that flesh wasn’t wanted for any reason whatsoever.

When progressives start quoting scriptures, Beck’s caution about social justice in the church begins to make sense. Pelosi is no Catholic and, for that matter, neither is John Kerry.
A true Catholic knows it’s a sin to tell a lie. A Catholic-for-the-sake-of-political-expediency like Ms. Pelosi continues to lie and lie and lie. Perhaps she believes that, in her place, Jesus would lie, too. Perhaps she believes that, in her place, Jesus would look to her as His role model. Gross.
One of these days Nancy will be leaving Washington D.C., turn around, look back at the city, and turn into a pillar of salt.

Taking the Lord’s name in vain is not just a prohibition against cursing. Pelosi is taking Lord’s name in vain in this instance.

I find the Bible to be the most profound work of mankind to date even while being born without a shred of spirituality. You have to be brainless not to recognize it. As a traditionalist, I find the fact of Catholicism compelling and somehow satisfying, similar to Elisabeth II; dependable cultural icons. Theology study with a nun holding an associated doctorate is inspiring. On the other hand, some of the most thoughtless, anti-American and culturally destructive individuals on the planet are the Catholic religious. The best thing the left can do is continue to belittle and marginalize that faction. If they ever team up, the country will be in a world of hurt.

I couldn’t get through the whole thing when O’Reilly showed it on his program last night. She never once uttered Jesus’ holy name. She reflects everything that is horribly wrong with people who have been in Washington’s inner circle too long.
