Fire and Brimstone, Dogs and Cats Living Together
I think I have just crossed over to some weird, psychedelic dimension. Surely, this must be a sure sign of the armageddon. The end must be nigh.
I find myself agreeing with this:
President Obama can give hundreds of speeches, trying to reconcile contradictions that are irreconcilable … dreaming of the magic of his well-articulated phrases. . . (Obama) makes concessions to personalities and groups totally lacking in ethics and draws fantasy worlds that only fit in his head and that unscrupulous advisers, knowing his tendencies, plant in his mind.
Written by none other than Fidel Castro.
I’m starting to think that maybe the Mayans were right.

You know it’s bad when even Castro thinks you’re a whackadoodle.
Well, remember when either Fidel or Chavez said Obama was to their left?
Hey, even Fidel knows what color the sky is.
Well, it seems the health issues that fidel is said to have, has not affected his mind too much! He sees this bho as I do!
L
Fidel knows a puppet when he sees one.
*Cue the Twilight Zone music*
LOL…I would love to see the newsrooms of the old media after this one hit their screens. They are probably in pure panic mode right about now as the one is being unmasked by one of their other liberal heroes….
You’re traveling through another dimension — a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of absurdity. That’s a signpost up ahead: your next stop: The HOPEYCHANGEY Zone!
In an experiment gone horribly wrong, Good ol Boy politics collides head on with Hope-n-Change at approximately the speed of light. An intense political fusion reaction is initiated, and accelerates outward, enveloping the political universe – and morphing it into a bizarro parallel universe where light illuminates nothing and darkness shines…
And Fidel Castro is my friend. Sigh.
Like how spending money you don’t have will lead to prosperity?
Like how the Government taking over the (fill in the blank) industry will make it better?
Like how raising taxes will stimulate the economy?
How do you say “duh!” in Commie?
Well, Castro may be a Commie but he is a smart, perceptive Commie.
Nuking Iran would be the ultimate “Wag the Dog” moment!
Castro also said this about our President.
“[The President]” the Cuban president noted, “is more and more mistaken, less and less serious, more and more demagogic, and more and more a political schemer [politiquero],” he added. At this point, the head of state remarked that he is holding back a large number of adjectives, “not because he does not deserve them — he does — but, rather, to save time and energy.”
He is so mean!
I think I heard Michael Moore spontaneously combust.
Well, let’s remember since Coming to power, Castro has spouted vitriol against, um, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, HW, Clinton, W and now Barry. Let’s call it a habit.
That’s true, but he used to love The Won as a kindred spirit. This has got to have Glover and Penn in a major head spin.
Even a stopped clock is right twice a day.
I suppose that is why he called Obama “conceited” and “superficial” last April?
LOL! Made me think of that old YouTube video of an exploding whale.
Castro has remained in power all this time not because he mailed in he renewal certificate each year. He has made sure he has NOT done the things he ascribes to Obama.
The underlying theme of Castro’s comments is that despite all the bluster, Obama is inherently weak. When predators sense weakness……..
Val,
This just proves that the Earth is round and that if one ventures too far in one direction, eventually one returns from the opposite side. Castro’s idea of unethical groups likely includes the American businessmen, the folks in Honduras that dared to defy Hugo Chavez, and the world’s favorite scapegoat-Jews. We can read that statement and include Castro, Chavez, and Ahmadinejad among those unethical individuals who do not deserve American consessions.
The world is round.
From the man famous for his 12-hour speeches.
That must have been a LOT of adjectives!
I know! Amazing, isn’t it? I’d love to hear what they were supposed to be, considering he is a credible critic.
Let’s be honest – Castro is no longer the only socialist on the block. Jealousy rears its ugly head!
Ok, how does it go? The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
Should we expect to see Rush and Fidel sharing a brewski? That would be the Twilight Zone.
Obammy IS having a rough couple of weeks, isn’t he?
Which reminds me of another strangely sourced statement I’d have to agree with about SOS Hillary. “Mrs Clinton…is by no means intelligent…and a funny lady. Sometimes she looks like a primary schoolgirl and sometimes a pensioner going shopping”.
Can’t argue with Kim Jung Il there.
Here’s some adjectives I think C-Man was considering using in his comments about Obeyme:
Arrogant
Pissy
Snobbish
Weak
Girlie-man
There are so many more, but for the sake of time and energy…..

No, but I’m sure Rush would appreciate some Cuban cigars.
Wait…Who said he was talking about Obama?
As would Monica Lewinsky….
No, that was just an undigested bit of beef, a blot of mustard, a crumb of cheese, a fragment of an underdone potato.
There’s more ‘gravy’ than ‘grave’, John Deaux?
Actually, the mystique is over rated.I picked up some Havana’s on my last trip to Hong Kong. Most cigar types think Dominican’s are as good or better. Just sayin.
If Bho could just stick with the truth, he would have these problems. Now if he could believe the truth when it slapped him up side the head – no wishful thinking..
Swede,
Most of todays “havanas” are havana in label and box only. Generals and others in charge of tobaccoo industry in cuba sell the labels to foreign cigars growers or ship the labels and boxes to little plots of tobaccoo growing land they own themselves in other counries. real cuban cigars are as hard to find in Havana as they are in the rest of the world.
Perhaps Mr Moore had a wafer thin mint?
Chap, I followed your link.
Now find links where Castro praised Reagan and I’ll really be impressed.
Praise him? heck, Castro saved him!
This is no surprise
I am not a communist and neither is the revolutionary movement. –Fidel Castro, 1959
Why there you are, you little scamp! why aren’t you over on this thread defending your heroes?
BTW, it doesn’t help Doug’s case, or yours, that he also said this:
Agreed – I like Ashtons and Fuentes myself.
Oops, make that “Val’s case”. Too many guest bloggers.
Mmmmm…actually my case was that Castro is a tool that will say anything provocative that suits him at the moment and thus should not be taken seriously at any point.
So actually that does help my case.
I am a Marxist-Leninist and I will be one until the last day of my life. — Fidel Castro, 1961
How does anyone know if Castro means what he says? Socialists use words for effect, to serve ulterior motives that rarely have anything to do with the actual meanings of the words. Castro’s statement does not make him my friend, and the only reason why I don’t want him to die anytime soon is that his expiration during the Obama Administration would mean worldwide broadcast of our manchild President weeping uncontrollably, with a daughter asking “Daddy, when are you gonna put a sock in it?”. No one needs to see that.
I can’t believe I find myself agreeing with Fidel Castro.
This may be the only time…
… or perhaps Mr. Creosote?
“Better get me a bucket.”
How does Teh One plug this hole?
At least Castro made sense in his observation about Obama.
So far, Obama has made none on anything!
