Fundraiser for Fleeing AZ Illegal Aliens – Sarcasm Alert!
Illegal aliens in Arizona don’t like the new law that requires police officers to question the immigration status of individuals they reasonably suspect might be illegal aliens, and some are leaving.
Other cities and states don’t like it either. I’ve come up with a brilliant idea: let’s raise money to help Arizona’s illegal aliens leave the state to set up house in cities that have passed or are considering boycott resolutions against Arizona. The list of cities includes San Francisco, Los Angeles, Oakland, Austin, Texas (in time for SXSW 2011!), Boston, the nation’s capital, New York City, and Hartford, Connecticut.
We’ll raise funds to send Arizona’s illegals by train, plane, or bus, to a boycotting city—and only a boycotting city—of their choice. Look here…I’ve got my $100 bill ready.
Update: By the way, I’m being sarcastic! I want illegal aliens to leave the country, not just Arizona.

I’m not boycotting AZ and I don’t want more lawbreakers in TX. Those that are already here need to be packing their bags because I have a feeling that their welcome will soon be worn out.
Personally, I would rather use my money to elect politicians who will kick their asses back to Mexico and lock down the border!! Sending them to sanctuary cities only means they could sneak wherever they want to go in the U.S. I want them out of here!!! This country can’t afford them!
I don’t know La Shawn. It strikes me as though I were paying the doctor to leave the tumor alone, or at best move it to another part of my body. Count me out.
Washington DC is a poison. Being a city without a state, any (bad) policy it endorses spills over into VA, MD, DE, WV, and PA.
Please don’t send the illegals to DC.
What’s the difference between this, and panhandling?
You know all those “Will work for food” signs we see at the freeway, and mall entrances? It’s all B.S. If, and I underscore “if” any of this money goes to what it is intended, you can bet that the “middleman’s fee” will eat up over 90% of any such donation.
Pulling on the heart strings of humanity often traps the ignorant into giving in to emotion. That is what this is.
And, collecting or distributing money to perpetuate an ongoing crime is aiding and abetting, and is itself a crime, regardless of the emotional argument. Morons who deliver deserve to be fleeced.

Holder, this morning, commenting on the big drug raids around OUR country against the Mexican Drug Cartels claimed to be surprised by all the HEROIN captured. Nothing like complaining that you have mice, wasps, pigions in your house when you refuse to close the door.
Why not? You have to round up the herd somewhere.
It’s kind of like having a red light district, where all the prostitution, strip joints, and adult video parlors are located. Concentrate the police there, and leave the surrounding communities relatively vice free.
Like the Combat Zone in Boston, or Hotel Street in Honolulu, or Texas Street in Pusan (I’ve heard of it, yeah).
I see what your saying, basically putting the penalty for being tolerant of illegals on the boycotting cities, but does it really fix the problem?
Come Nov. I pray we take back control of at least the House and spend some of that monopoly money and build the damn fence once and for all. any gates in the fence swing one way…OUT!.
Well, if you’re proposing building a fence around DC, then I might reconsider.
On the other hand, it would be much easier and cheaper to build a fence across our southern border and enforce our immigration laws.
I think it would be best to send them all to the same place. San Francisco comes to mind. Then you can really see the impact of millions of people descending on a place and the havoc it would wreak on their economy. Then maybe they could pull their heads out and see the problem, not the political rhetoric.

These amnesty cities are the modern equivalent of medieval city-states. A city that is “too big to fail” that has so much power spread over a relatively small area is not what the founding fathers had in mind, I’ll guess.
Austin, San Fransicko, New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, etc. are the modern equivalents of Venice, Genoa, Trier, Augsburg, Sparta, the Vatican, or Hong Kong.
Sarcasim aside, La Shawn’s point really brings the hypocrisy of these cities into focus. Hey, LA/SFO/Austin etc, if you care about these folks so much why don’t you make arrangements to get them out of Arizona, where they are not welcome, and bring them into your more welcoming and kind environment? Or are you just going to make empty symbolic gestures?

I voted against an Arizona 1 percent temporary state sales tax increase put on the ballot recently, which was to fund schools, because it was to fund schools but didn’t address the cost of funding them for illegals as well. The tax increase passed anyway, but it is heartening to hear many are leaving the state, thereby funding the schools without subsidizing quite as much the criminal behavior of illegals sponging off they system as well. I see this as a great first step. The next step would be to excommunicate the destination cities, either giving them independence or just turning them over to the UN for safekeeping.
Trolls: this is another bit of sarcasm. I know we are no more going to excommunicate cities, no matter how great their struggle with logic, than we would be able to send illegal aliens to those cities. But we can dream, can’t we?

John Deaux, I was just corrected by Rahm Emanual, you are only a fugitive if you are being pursued and since the current administration (just like the last few) are not actually enforcing that particular law, you can not be charged with aiding and abetting. Hope that helps to clear things up.

Just read an article about the Dental Tech school at UT Austin. Seems Mexicans are being discriminated against in that they don’t get special treatment such as special leaves of absence,instate tuition even when they have too many hours to qualify and not passing them on through even if their grades are just one point below passing, etc. As a lawyer of the same persuasion said, “We’re going to stop this stomping on dreams!” Seems to me, we have coddled “minorities”
(they are fast becoming a nonminority) to the point where they no longer want to work for anything. They come here expecting handouts and planning on leeching from the taxpayers.
I say we start frog marching them back across the border. When the border patrol agent shot the illegal teen this week, Mexican officials illegally came into this country, picked something (a gun?) up and took it back across the border. No one from there obeys our laws. With the president we have, we are a laughingstock to other countries.
Afterthought and point of information: Local CBS affiliate did a news story on a bus that weekly takes illegals (that have been caught by police) from OK and TX back to the border. I do believe they thought it would start an uproar against the practice but I have’t heard one. This has quietly been going on for some time. Hurrah!!!!!!!
Send them *all* to DC, and set up tents for them on the national mall so they are there for everyone to see. They can become part of the Smithsonian. An exhibit on the stupidity of the government that sits at the north end of the mall.

If this were to actually happen, you would have to cut off all federal funding to these cities or we would constantly have to bail them out.
I think it is a crime for other states to bail out states that spend themselves into the ground by ignorant fiscal policies. California comes to mind.

I think shipping all the illegals to DC would be fine. 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has a nice high fence around it and we could get the National Guard to manage the perimeter of that fence. That way, all the illegal aliens could be kept in one place…

If, God forbid, the Arizona law is foreclosed by the courts, the State of Arizona should charter a fleet of buses, park them on the border and offer free transportation to LA, San Francisco, etc. Free box lunch, bottle of water and a one-way trip to a sanctuary city – how’s that for hospitality.
Send them all back to Mexico with guns so that they can overthrow their own government, and not ours.

1. End birthright citizenship.
2. Jail the employers including the HR staff for 3-5 no parole.
3. Fine employers $500K per illegal alien found to be working.
4. End all welfare and schooling.
5. Tax all remittances at 30% with the proceeds going to the fence.

A neighbors son, while in college, was asked if he wanted to aid illegals coming through the desert. Being a good, but misguided soul, he said, of course and off he went. If Homeland IN-security does not deport the illegal aliens Arizona sends them, then I would advise them to put them on a bus to Chicago or DC. Obama cares more about Chicago than DC, but Congress is in DC. Perhaps they could be given the addresses of “Safe” houses in thise cities, all belonging to Obama friends and supporters.
Unfortunately, I fear this all will push the Liberals to try to force an amnesty on America again, which as history has shown, does nothing to fix the problem. Any logical and sane person could tell you the illegal immigration will not stop until you physically stop it by securing the border.
