Rep. Mike Pence Has a Question for the President

In light of the fact that all problems are solved in the United States and our debt and spending are under control, President Obama yesterday pledged $400 million in U.S. aid to the Palestinian territories. The money was pledged during a meeting between Obama and Mahmoud Abbas.
Obama said he would not meet with the CEO of BP because “he’s going to say all the right things to me, I’m not interested in words, I’m interested in actions,” so it’s nice to see him have such confidence in Abbas to be honest and forthright in his ultimately successful attempt to get his hands on hundreds of millions of American taxpayer dollars.
Cassy Fiano calls it a “terrorist stimulus package,” and if it is, the only reason for optimism is the hope that a terrorist stimulus will work as well as the stimulus package. If Sheriff Biden is in charge of making sure the aid works as intended, Abbas is screwed.
But remember, the $400 million is just a “down payment”:
The Obama administration’s promise of aid includes money to increase access to clean drinking water, create jobs and build schools and affordable housing. State Department officials called the projects “a down payment” on the U.S. commitment to improving life in Gaza.
Last year, U.S. officials pledged a total of $900 million for Gaza and the West Bank, but acknowledged the difficulty of distributing the funds, especially because Hamas controls Gaza and is considered a terrorist organization. The aid announced Wednesday may be distributed through organizations performing relief work, State Department officials said.
Sure. This aid will be different… it won’t be handed to the guys in the “Hamas” shirts, but rather to the nice folks wearing the “samaH” shirts (inability to recognize a t-shirt turned inside-out is a time-honored skill that’s been handed down through generations of United Nations aid distributors).
Rep. Mike Pence of Indiana isn’t happy with any of this, and asks Obama what I’d consider the rhetorical question of the week: “Whose side are you on?” (h/t Cubachi):
Here are some things the media doesn’t report about Gaza. It ain’t all misery and Israeli-induced dispair.
According to exit polling on election day 2008, 78% of Jewish voters went for the US presidential candidate with a background that suggested he would empathize with the Muslim point of view (and I’m putting that so mildly that it borders on beyond sarcasm). I’m not Jewish, so if three-quarters of American Jewish folks don’t mind, maybe I shouldn’t be as concerned as I am. We’ll see what the numbers look like after the 2012 election.

While as usual this is a great post by Doug, and I agree completely, I can’ believe there hasn’t been a post about politics in my hometown of Greensboro, NC (home of the Civil Rights Museum at the downtown Woolworths on Feb.1 St – so named for the Feb 1 sit in in 1949)
Yeah, this assault happened during the daytime. We might not have rockets, but fists can be daunting at a political event with your family. I used to be a DD for drunks in the evening. This is a pretty tough area politically and I’ll bet the puncher will win a lawsuit for his racist face oppressing the black fist. The NAACP will be all back up in here demanding that the civil rights of the attacker were violated.

We all know the answer. The President’s political actions speak louder than any blather he can deliver by teleprompter.
In reality every dime he spends is money he does not have; it’s just that much more debt on the backs of our children. So regardless of who is to receive the give-away, I think the right question to ask is HOW does putting our children even further into debt going to improve their future let alone their chances of digging out of that debt?
A country with massive debt is not in a position to help ANYBODY, friend or enemy.
Piece by piece Obama is chipping away at the future of our country. This November is one good chance to stop him.
Pence has it right and he is right to question Obama’s allegiance to the America and our allies.
So when is it legal and appropriate to remove a president, physically if necessary, from the White House. I’m talking law enforcement walking in and perp-walking him out?

Obama really looks like he is out to destroy the US and Israel by his second anniversary and then just coast for the last two years of his term. You have to admire a man with a plan.
I plan to do everything I can to insure he is a one-term president.
Maybe a new slogan to fire up Obama’s base for 2012.

As soon as Arizona, or any other state, passes legislation requiring candidates to submit proof of their constitutional eligibility to hold the office they are running for, he will decide one term is enough.

Obama decisions to date certainly show to a large degree, that he was not raised with American ideals, nor was he taught to believe in American traditions.
It is clear to me, anyway, that he was raised NOT as an American, but in a bifurcated way; one side steeped in Islam, and the other in Marxism. Neither path was infused with the idea of American exceptionalism, rather the indoctrination of victimhood, class warfare, with socialism intermixed with African Islamic Marxism brain-washed this poor little skinny kid whose parents both abandoned him.
Is it any wonder this man is so screwed up, angry and bitter? He’s bound and determined to make America pay for his miserable childhood. I don’t feel pity for him, I find him dangerously deceitful…a thin-skinned incompetent with the power to destroy everything this country fought for since it’s inception.
This country needs to be free of this tyrant in the making.
Abbas is only the latest in a long line of losers our foreign policy mavens have foisted on American taxpayers. He is such a coward, he needs foreign approval to hold even indirect talks with Israel. And Obama trusts him to further the peace process? Let’s see Rep. Pence rally Congress to block the $400 million.
Let Turkey donate that $400 million.
BTW, if Turkey is turning radical Islamist, isn’t it time to start having a discussion about their membership in NATO?

On the date of the partition of Israel, the Arab nations told all Muslims living in “Israel” to leave so that the would know anyone before their armies was a Jew and could be killed. Good plan, but their armies collapsed and left the fleeing Arabs homeless. The Arab nations have never admitted that this was their problem because 1) the people were not of their ‘tribe’ and not worthy, and 2) was a continuous visible reminder of their failure.
