Nikki Haley clinches the South Carolina GOP gubernatorial nomination in today’s runoff.

The Democrat establishment in D.C. suffered a defeat in North Carolina, where the insiders’ choice, Jim Marshall, lost in a runoff to the state’s Secretary of State, Elaine Marshall, to face GOP incumbent Rep. Richard Burr.

Polls have closed in Utah, where two GOP candidates are duking it out for the Republican nomination to replace ousted Big Government GOP Sen. Bob Bennett.

And Mississippi voters are deciding on a Republican nominee to take on 2nd District Democrat incumbent Bennie Thompson.

Update: Congrats to Mike Lee, who won the Utah GOP Senate primary.
