Not surprised since most dhimms think New Mexico is part of Mexico and Alaska is a foreign country. We are paying dearly for “social” passing of students in the school system and unionized teachers that don’t know anything about the subject they teach.
I remember when they were testing teachers in TX (before the union got involved) and all of the teachers that failed screamed they were racially profiling! Guess whites can also be racially profiled. Who’d athunk it?

I fully agree with what Arizona does. I don’t get why certain people always get upset over ID cards or having to show proper documents. I have lived in Europe for some time and registration, IDs, and identifying yourself almost every hour as you go through life is par for the course. How else are we supposed to nab criminals, terrorists and other nasty people?
A “degree in Human Services from the Milwaukee Area Technical College” would explain everything.
Maybe she was confusing Alaska and Arizona, which after all, start and end with an ‘a.’ Plus Sarah Palin was the governor of Alaska so surely they have Nazi-like laws too that send illegal immigrants to death camps just like the Arizona law. So it’s easy to understand how a liberal could get them mixed up.

Ms. West’s response to being told that Arizona is on the border was actually priceless: She said that she “misspoke” and that she meant to say that Texas had the “longest” border and that since Arizona only had the “second longest border” with Mexico she doesn’t feel they should enact a law such as this one, if however, Arizona had the longest border she might think twice about voting yes to boycotting them.

Illegal immigration is very unpopular among LEGAL Mexicans and blacks here in CA. It is only the sweat shops and La Raza politicos who are pushing this. The elite US establishment is choosing to allow La Raza to speak for Mexican-Americans which is like allowing the slave owners to speak for civil rights for blacks.
And while she’s at it, she may want to read the US Constitution.

When I lived in the Chicago burbs, 2 neighborhood high schoolers were also geography challenged. One thought that AZ had beaches on the ocean and the other thought trains went to Hawaii. Eventually these kids grow up to join the walking stupid.

As an historian and history teacher, I HAVE to know and discuss Geography. Geography, while not my first love, isn’t that difficult. A couple years ago I actually prepared an 8th grader for the National Geography Bee. I wish adults had that kind of commitment to learning and educational growth that my 8th grader did.
It makes me wonder if we should rename the Dem Party the Party of Stupid. Stupid people abound in the Dem Party. That’s how they have maintained the power that they currently have.

Yes, and her entire, original, argument was predicated on Arizona not having a border with Mexico. So, now she’s trying to say that only if you have the longest border with Mexico should you be able to identify illegal aliens.
This is not just about geography. Ms. West has used no critical thinking in any of her arguments. What does a common border or the length of a border have to do with whether or not the county board should boycott Arizona?
My question is what is the Milw. County Board doing worrying about Arizona when Milwaukee is fast turning into Detroit?
I would suspect what happened to poor Ms. Peggy was the school curriculum was changed …instead of geography the lessons were on how place a condom on a banana without taring or puncturing the condom. From the number of unwed mothers it’s a safe bet not many passed that class either.
I actually had a one teacher tell me those classes teaching correct application of a condom on fruit was passed down from the school board…not the teachers idea…I called BS on that.
