Video: Pete Stark pisses all over voters concerned about border security

By Michelle Malkin  •  June 29, 2010 12:48 PM

Just when I think Pete Stark Raving Mad can’t sink any lower in his vulgar contempt for voters, he sinks ever lower again. (Review Stark’s Greatest Unhinged Moments here and here.)

At his latest encounter at a town hall, Stark Raving Mad mocks Bay Area constituents expressing outrage at our lax immigration policies. To a member of the northern California Minutemen, Steve Kemp, Stark snarks:

“Who are you going to kill today?”

In response to concerns about violence at the porous, unsecured border, Stark retorts:

“Our borders are quite secure, thank you.”

(Related: Unreality-based Janet Clownitano tells a Washington crowd, “The plain fact of the matter is the border is as secure now as it has ever been.”)

Watch the whole thing:

This is what the bloated arrogance of entitled incumbency looks like.

Since the border is so secure how about Stark and the rest of the open-borders crowd, including all of Congress and White House, being required to relocate to the Arizona border … minus all the security they normally have so they can see what the real world is all about … after all … if it is so secure at the border there should not be any concerns … right?

I don’t remember reading of any California Minutemen being responsible for killing or robbing anyone. But I have read about lots of Frisco’s ILLEGAL ALIENS (not “undocumented immigrants”)doing the same with cars and guns. We don’t visit SF any more.

People deserve the gubmint they vote for. The people of California deserve to be robbed, raped and pillaged by illegals and creeps of all stripes, because they don’t enforce their laws, and they return these thugs to the streets over and over. Blacks in L.A. and Oakland must really enjoy having their people murdered in the streets, because the juries of those locals continually free these thugs to kill again. You want justice, do your part. The police can only arrest thugs so often before they recognizethe futility and go eat donuts while mayhem reigns in the streets.

Saw a great comment on Fox News last night regarding this and the SCOTUS 2nd Amendment opinion. The commentor noted:

The Left admits it cannot secure the border. However, they assume if they disarm all of the law abiding people in America then they can keep guns out of the hands of criminals.

Remember that at your next town hall meeting with your Lib Democrat representative.

Elected officials like him are the reason the Tea Party is going to vote them out.

When I say Tea Party, I’m not referring to those who have dubbed themselves offical spokespersons for the movement. I’m talking about all like minded Americans who don’t attend Tea Party meetings or even give credence to an “official” tea party. These are the people just waiting for the elections in order to vote people like Stark out and put people in who have like minded goals of less government, reducing the spending and removing anyone or anything that looks like it has a socialist smell to it. We’ll spot a fraud and anyone who pretends to have the same values as the majority of us clod hoppers in conservative America.

One of the most effective ways to hit the target, figuratively speaking, is to use a scatter gun and remove them all. As far as I’m concerned, if it’s a Democrat running for dogcatcher, he doesn’t get my vote. Neither does the RINOs among us.

We’re out here and we’re patiently waiting.

    and this is related.

Jan Brewer in a new TV ad stands in front of the new warning signs placed in Arizona by Obama’s administration.

The ad shows the governor standing next to one of the warning signs in the middle of the Arizona desert, 80 miles from the border and, according to the ad, 30 miles from Phoenix. The signs have in recent weeks drawn attention from border-state lawmakers who say they demonstrate how unsafe the region has become. In the ad, Brewer noted that she recently met with President Obama, who “promised that we would get word” on the administration’s border security plan.

“Well, we finally got the message — these signs. These signs, calling our desert an active drug and human smuggling area. These signs warning people of danger and telling them to stay away,” Brewer said in the ad. “Washington says our border is as safe as it has ever been. Does this look safe to you?”

The ad ended with a confrontational message: “Washington is broken, Mr. President. Do your job. Secure our borders. Arizona and the nation are waiting.”

I love how she closes the ad.

In your incompetent, traitorous face Barry.

Probably, having been unused, politically, for some time, or at all, they’ve shrivelled up and are currently in a perpetual state of dormancy and any prior knowledge of their function has long been forgotten.

    Rags,

I agree with you on term limits. What will be the unintended consequences of term limits if ever implemented? We can be sure there will be unintended consequences. Some of those consequences might be shifting power from elected officials to a pseudo-bureaucracy of permanent congressional staffs. Or, that power might devolve to the executive branch bureaucracies.

Neither of those outcomes would be good and either might turn out to be worse than what we have right now. How term limits are implemented would be a key consideration.

One other point that has come up, specifically regarding JD Hayworth and his stupid ads. We must remember that all congresscritters are equally corruptible. However, not all concresscritters are equally corrupt at this moment in time.

It is likely that anyone elected to congress will become more corrupt over time. Term limits provide some potential relief.

However, in the relative case between Hayworth and McCain, the latter is already utterly corrupt. Hayworth is relatively speaking less corrupted now but the longer he is in power the more corrupted he will certainly become. We, the people, need to exercise oversight at the ballot box closely to insure he doesn’t succumb to “Washington-itis” too quickly. When he does, he needs to get retired.

Hayworth is not perfect but he has got to be better than McCain on a whole range of issues. But, we need to carry a big stick to remind him who he ultimately works for. And we need to constantly remind him that his position is predicated on performance. [Geez, that almost sounds like a LOTE argument...]

Rep. Stark actually lives in Maryland in a $1.7 million home which is one more reason he is out of touch with his district.
