Whitewashing black racism; Shabazz: “Prepare for war”
My column today blasts the MSM for its silence over the black racial demagogues of the New Black Panther Party and its ilk.
Before I get to the column, some context:
Longtime readers and viewers know I go way back with the poisonous race hustlers of the New Black Panther Party.
Two months after the 9/11 attacks, I reported on Muslim NBPP head Malik Shabazz’s disgusting anti-Semitic, anti-American diatribe at the National Press Club.
He has a long history of Jew-bashing, including gems like this:
“If 3,000 people perished in the World Trade Center attacks and the Jewish population is 10 percent, you show me records of 300 Jewish people dying in the World Trade Center…We’re daring anyone to dispute its truth. They got their people out.”
In 2006, we at Hot Air covered Shabazz’s jihad-pandering protest and call to arms at the Danish embassy in Washington, D.C. over the Mohammed Cartoons.
In 2007, Shabazz called me a “whore” on Fox News because I called out his racial hucksterism in the Duke lacrosse fake rape case.
In 2008, I reported on Shabazz’s election day threats to voters and have covered the corruptocrat Obama DOJ’s role in dropping default judgments against the Philly NBPP thugs ever since. In 2009, I reported on the “Colored Only: No Whites Allowed” sign at NBPP defendant Jerry Jackson’s house and the murderous rap propaganda posted by the NBPP Trenton chapter.
DOJ whistleblower J. Christian Adams blew the lid off the case in late June in the Washington Times and his appearances on Fox News with Megyn Kelly have provoked Shabazz’s poison tongue once again. Now, he’s threatening to go after limited government activists and moaning about “Zionist conspiracies” at Fox News.
In May, Shabazz told his black power cohorts to “prepare for war,” via Bunkerville.

Why haven’t national media outlets reported on the vile and violent rants of the New Black Panther Party (NBPP) thugs whose 2008 voter intimidation tactics got a pass from the Obama administration? Simple: Radical black racism doesn’t fit the Hope and Change narrative. There’s no way to shoehorn Bush-bashing into the story. And, let’s face it, exposing the inflammatory rhetoric of the left does nothing to help liberal editors and reporters fulfill their true calling — embarrassing the right.
This week, Justice Department whistleblower J. Christian Adams came forward with damning public testimony about how Obama officials believe “civil rights law should not be enforced in a race-neutral manner, and should never be enforced against blacks or other national minorities.” In the wake of Adams’ expose on how the Obama DOJ abandoned default judgments against the NBPP bullies for the sake of politically correct racial politics, a shocking video clip of one of the lead defendants in the Philadelphia voter intimidation case resurfaced on the Internet. It shows bloodthirsty King Samir Shabazz during a 2009 National Geographic documentary interview spewing:
“You want freedom? You’re gonna have to kill some crackers! You’re gonna have to kill some of their babies!”
These NBPP death threats and white-bashing diatribes are nothing new to those who have tracked the black supremacy movement. In August 2009, nearly a year ago, I reported on a sign on display outside NBPP defendant (and elected member of Philadelphia’s 14th Ward Democratic Committee) Jerry Jackson’s home. It reads: “COLORED ONLY: No Whites Allowed.”
In July 2009, I interviewed poll watcher/witness Christopher Hill, whom Shabazz and Jackson called “cracker” several times while Shabazz brandished his baton.
“They physically attempted to block me,” Hill recounted. He also saw a group of elderly ladies walk away from the polling site without voting while the duo preened in front of the entrance. “If you’re a poll watcher, you shouldn’t be dressed in paramilitary garb,” Hill said, as he wondered aloud at what would have happened if he had showed up in the same sort of costume.
In May 2009, I reported on the affidavit of civil rights attorney and poll watcher Bartle Bull, who witnessed the NBPP thuggery in Philadelphia and reported on billy club-wielding Shabazz’s election day boast: “You’re about to be ruled by the black man, cracker.”
In the fall of 2008, just days before he showed up to hector white poll workers, Shabazz told the Philadelphia Inquirer:
“I’m about the total destruction of white people. I’m about the total liberation of black people. I hate white people. I hate my enemy… The only thing the cracker understands is violence… The only thing the cracker understands is gunpowder. You got to take violence to violence.”
The desire to kill, subordinate and demonize white people is a staple of NBPP propaganda. An NBPP Trenton, N.J., chapter “block party” music video posted on YouTube calls on black followers to “bang for freedom,” “put the bang right into a cracker’s face,” and “if you’re going to bang, bang for black power … hang a cracker … if you’re going to bang, bang on the white devil … burying him near the river bank with the right shovel … community revolution in progress … banging for crackers to go to hell, we don’t need em.”
Chanting “Black Power,” Minister Najee Muhammad, national field marshal for the New Black Panther Party, and Uhuru Shakur, local chairman of the Atlanta NBPP chapter, issued a pre-Election Day 2008 threat to “racists and other angry whites who are upset over an impending Barack Obama presidential victory.” Said Muhammad: “Most certainly, we cannot allow these racist forces to slaughter our babies or commit other acts of violence against the black population, nor our black president.”
That’s rich, given that the only racists talking about slaughtering babies are the ones with New Black Panther Party patches on their puffed chests.
If a Tea Party activist threatened to kill the babies of his political opponents, it wouldn’t just be front-page news. It would be the subject of Democrat-led congressional investigations, a series of terrified New York Times columns about the perilous “climate of hate,” a Justice Department probe by Attorney General Eric Holder, a domestic terror alert from Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, and another Important Teachable Moment Speech/Summit from Healer-in-Chief Barack Obama.
But with the racism shoe on the other foot, Team Obama and its media water-carriers are exhibiting the very racial cowardice Holder once purported to condemn. Thanks to Obama’s feckless Department of Injustice, these black supremacist brutes are free to show up on the next national Election Day at polling places in full paramilitary regalia with nightsticks, hurling racist, anti-American epithets at those exercising their right to vote and at those protecting the integrity of the electoral process.

Might I suggest that in the event of a recurrence of the NBPP intimidators at the polling places, a similar show of strength take place? We should be on the lookout for these illegal practices and fight fire with whatever is at hand. When bullies are confronted they usually run or back down. And if they don’t then there’s always a video camera, or something more convincing.
We are rapidly descending into mob rule. Might as well get rid of judges and juries and allow the vulgar and violent mobs to make all important decisions.

Also I would suggest that if they are looking to kill crackers then they are wanting to start a fight or a war. What is wrong with giving it to them? Your elected officials can’t seem to get their act in gear, can they? If we let the thugs run the show then we have only ourselves to blame. Act locally and take our freedom to vote back. This is why I carry a gun. I believe them when they say they want to kill white people and their babies. It’s nothing to joke about. Hopefully the day never comes but if it does I want to be prepared to protect my children and my wife from these animals.
If the NBPP was in charge the entire country would be like Detroit in 6 months.
The DOJ dismissing a case based on race is a huge story. Even if they started killing “cracker babies” I’m convinced the MSM would ignore it until they were forced to make some half-hearted comments about it by Fox and other alternative media.

There’s no denying that ammunition sales remain ultra-high, and a huge swath of the USA – including the “blue states” – are armed to the teeth out of fear for precisely this type of thing.
But I’m not quite (OK, not even close) to the “bring it on” stage.
It’s hard to drive to work when you fear that your house could be burned when you get back – but I need my job. It’s hard to send my kids to school if I fear for their safety – but they have to get educated.
These are the things we have to inform our ignorant neighbors of. Obama’s foolish behavior could unleash the dogs of war, and that is simply intolerable.

I just did a search on the local ABC News affiliate’s website for stories on the NBPP and the appointment of Mr. Berwick. I, of course, found nothing.
These two issues are clearly in the publics interest to know about. Bias is one thing; supression is the other.
I have more research to do, but I am strongly considering filing as written complaint with the Federal Communucations Commission and informing the media regarding same.
I concur. FWIW, I serve alongside many minority Marines who are just as disgusted with the NBPP as they are with the KKK. Level heads will prevail if we view actions on an individual basis and not allow the race hustlers, from any camp, to succeed in baiting us. Of course that does not mean you should not prepare to protect your family/self. Prepare for war, pray for peace.

(He quickly slid around the corner and disappeared like the snake he was, but his glee was nauseating, particularly in light of the day’s ongoing events…

Why isn’t media focusing on the real issue underlying the New Black Panther position regarding the intimidation of “black” voters at the polls? Think about this;
Why would “law-abiding” black (or white, or yellow, or brown) voters be intimidated by any police officers at a voting place?
The answer is, they wouldn’t!
Police officers do not approach people at random, for no reason, and ask them for their ID’s. It’s illegal to do so. It is only done when people are detained for questioning regarding the violation of some law. Period.
The idea that black voters (with no warrants out for their arrest,) would be targeted at a polling place is rediculous! One caveat, however; If a known criminal is seen by a police officer near a polling place, and the officer knows there is an outstanding warrant for his/her arrest, the officer is obligated by the law, to try to affect an arrest. But, that is far different than posting officers at a polling place, randomly IDing voters to check for wants and warrants, with the intent of suppressing the voter turnout.
Finally, police officers are not posted at polling places. Why would they be? It seems to me that the only people, regardless of race, who are truly afraid to go vote, are those who are paranoid CRIMINALS who have outstanding warrants, or are paranoid militant racists who are still living in the 1960′s.

I am very upset about MSM silence on these thugs and the Justice Department’s anti-white bigotry in fulfilling its responsibilities.
I am also very upset about the MSM’s silence on the NASA-foremost-mission-to-build-Muslim-self-esteem matter.
And not only is the MSM silent when they should be howling, but all of us here recognize that they do always howl when they have nothing of substance but think they can do damage to conservatism, as when they made such a big deal of the fabricated use of the N-word by Tea Partyers.
Obama’s presidency has been such a disaster that we have broken through the MSM’s wall of silence and propaganda on a number of issues. But over the long haul, we cannot win a political struggle that is this unfair. To prevail, it is essential to win the center. Most of those folks in the center pay very little attention to public affairs and are much more apt to be influenced by the MSM than by the truths that conservatives are spreading here on the net and on talk radio and Fox News.
If the MSM continues to be solidly on the side of the liberals and to crowd conservative opinion out of the media that most people hear, then we are going to end up settling our political differences in this country with violence. We are already living in somewhat of a Stalinist environment where there really is not a free political conversation; there is a massive wall of propaganda and denial of inconvenient truths by the extremely partisan MSM. The propaganda and censorship is not quite as bureaucratically structured as it was in the USSR but it is the same thing. Effectively, the MSM are a propaganda arm of big, liberal government.
Personally, I have no plans to do anything unlawful or to suggest that anyone else break any laws. But I will shed no tears when someone on our side has all they can take decides to see if they can make their points with guns and bombs. I bet that would get some MSM coverage.

I thought there might be some kind of self-policing by the MSM to catch their fellow Lame-o’s in not revealing the truth when they hear it, or when they don’t bother to report a news-worthy item because it might upset the OBomination in the WH.

Roland, I was thinking earlier today about that question of what it is in the liberal mindset that leads them so far astray, notwithstanding that many of them are highly intelligent. I think that they have the disease of “malignant optimism.”
We are used to thinking of optimism as being a good thing. But when it is detached from reality, it is not good at all. You have to be a starry-eyed optimist to believe that we are going to bring all the people’s of the world together in love and harmony and that, as classical Marxist theory predicts, government will melt away, as it will be so unnecessary.
How can anyone look at the record of government inefficiency and incompetence and imagine that it is going to be the vehicle for a streamlined, efficient, cost-saving, nationalized medical system? You have to be borderline psychotic in your optimism to believe such things.
Being a conservative is not that much fun. It means making realistic assessment that more often than not make us a little glum. But libs just sing Imagine as they dream about Utopias never, ever achieved in the history of mankind. And they ignore the fact that Utopian movements have generally ended up with murderous — if not completely genocidal regimes — as they find their schemes not working out and decide that they need to be more and more coercive.
But libs believe in a sunny future, “change we can believe in,” don’t you know. And they believe that they are smart enough to arrange it. Yep, optimism can be a serious mental disorder when it gets out of hand.

Good post Ignatius… Adhering to a “keep your enemies closer” idea, I just finished reading St. Thomas More’s “Utopia” (wherein he actually coined the term, btw, which is translated “Nowhere” or something to that effect — the book was written by More in Latin so modern translations feel quite fresh. The belief is that the only reason some are successful is that being the right race has allowed wealth to spontaneously to occur with no hard work or failures along the way.
