“Have your facts:” Megyn Kelly vs. Kirsten Powers on NBPP thug case

I’ll let you provide all the commentary, with only one observation: Kirsten sank to her lowest and most ignorant low with her “scary black man” snark at Megyn — who showed amazing restraint in the face of being accused of racial demagoguery by a fellow Fox colleague who has no grasp of the basic facts and import of the DOJ’s corruption in the case and who demonstrated complete cluelessness about the poisonous, violence-promoting history of the NBPP.

If the NBPP story did get full disclosure coverage in the lamestream media, then the country would howl that this fetid, violent group of miscreants and sociopaths would have a dotted organizational chart line directly to the West Wing of the O-hole White House.
It is imperative that this story be followed to its bitter end so that when people in the USA do wake up fully to what O-hole is attempting to do “off the books” with czars and political hit squads, that there will be ample documentation for reposting to fully illuminate what they have missed while sleeping through the first 19 months of O-hole’s presidency.
The impeachment will be sweet. I say Holder will step down after the elections in November. And for those of you who think I am crazy, may I remind you that I called O-hole’s coming out as a Moslem during the first part of his term. Has he left any doubt? ROFLMAO

And, O’Reilly is going after Sarah Palin. Hmmm? I’m starting to have doubts about how innocent any of these dustups really are? Contrived for more market share? If so, someone/somewhere will leak it and their credibility is in the toilet.
The fact is no one knows which voters saw the thug and were intimidated away from the voting station. And that is why this is illegal because it keeps people away from participating. This is indefensible and shows clear bias in the very institution that MUST be above bias, the DOJ. Otherwise our nation is no longer a nation of laws and capriciousness rules the day.
I always wondered why this clueless woman was given the opportunity to espouse her ignorant opinions. Maybe they will finally realize she is useless.
Megyan -on the other hand is one sharp lady –I only wish the men on Fox were equally tough when questioning and delving into political issues…

Megan Kelly does get away with alot because she is so great looking. Although she is probably correct on the issues she is talking about, her shrill manner is not very pleasant and the screeching level of both Megan and Kirsten is annoying. I have no interest in a cat fight unless I am watching old Raquel Welch movies. Then, I confess, I rather enjoy it.
For intelligent commentary, I watch Fox News when the great Bill Kristol is on. Bill never loses his cool the way Megan does. Through his sheer intellectual firepower, he reduces liberals like Juan Williams to pablum.
Megan is screeching and howling while Kirsten is whiny. There is lots of heat but no light. Just compare this catfight to when Bill Kristol enters the scene. Within about 30 seconds of completely calm discussion, Bill Kristol has demolished the liberal position. Granted , in a contest of looks, well you would give Megan the decisive edge. In any contest of who you want to represent the conservative position in debate, then Bill Kristol wins hands down. There has not been such a brilliant conservative as Bill Kristol since Bill Buckley was in his salad days. Fox should give Bill Kristol his own hourly show each day.
Megan Kelly is a bright, articulate lawyer who bravely goes where some men fear to tread. I love this gal!
I watched this slap-down with much glee, as Kristen squirmed, squealed, and tried projecting…to no avail. I wish all patriotic Americans would stand up with the truth like Megan does, day in and day out, without taking a step backwards! Kudos, kiddo!!
I think the new black panthers are not looking for racial equality. They are looking to turn the tables and have black dominance over whites.
We aren’t fighting racism only to have it switch to blacks being racist against whites. Why is this group even allowed to exist, much less have a dotted line to the White House? Here was a chance to punish them and knock their racist organization down.

Megyn Kelly is a harpy shrew. She is not that intelligent, and not very thoughtful. She fits the current mold of Fox ‘eye candy.’ Sadly the more intelligent, and professional women are relegated to the edges. Fake blond, tall, mouthy, gets you a top spot on Fox.
As for O’Reilly he is a liberal and always has been. When Obama started to run for the White House, O’Reilly shifted the tone of his show. He has gone out of his way to NOT criticize Obama while appearing to be “moderate.” It’s a bunch of bull.

Kirsten Powers lost her argument the minute she opened her mouth. OT (just slightly), I have in fact listened to white liberals pooh-pah Rev. Wright with respect to Black Racism.
I think the idea that ‘racism needs to condemned across the board’ was never really endorsed by liberals in the first place; it was just a ruse to slip in their true agenda, IMO.
Actually, no. IIRC, and searching this site for the first reporting on it might bear me out but, I believe one of those who complained of what those thugs were doing was actually a democrat poll watcher who had been doing that for years.
Also if I recall, there were about 4 affidavits signed by witnesses, with the above mentioned poll watcher being one of them.

True, but even that is kind of moot when it comes to the law, RepVet. If KKKers were to dress up in their hoods&sheets, burn a cross and wave weapons around at a polling place, it wouldn’t matter if there were no black folks within 1,000 miles. Such actions, as in this case, would still be illegal.
Megan Kelly Is bright and gorgeous. There is no arguing about that. But for sheer intellectual firepower, she is no Bill Kristol. Bill Kristol is this generation’s Bill Buckley. That’s true – in addition to her experience as a litigator Kelly has a hard news background, while Kristol has no such experiences from which to draw. He’s capable enough to appear as a Sunday talk roundtable guest, but lacks the experience and ability to sit in the big news chair, much less carry a regular broadcast.
Similar to the outrage after our President merely suggested that the USSR take down the Berlin Wall.
Too bad Megyn isn’t black. Seems you have to be black AND a woman, preferably gay, to get any traction with liberals. No one else has a valid opinion. Conservatives hold everyone to the same standards. This is something liberals cannot and won’t do. Observe Kirsten…exhibit one.
Kirsten Powers is a great example of what is wrong in our nation. Party affiliation is more important than right or wrong and worst of all is more important than this country. If Bush did discriminate than it is more important than ever for this administration do the right thing to establish justice. Obama is a man made disaster all by himself!

I always thought the Kristen Powers was one of the more reasonable spokesmen for the liberals. Unfortunately, as with most liberals overtime, she let her mask slip and exposed a very dark and ugly side of her thinking.
Under pressure, she thoughtlessly used a racist epithet to describe a very serious situation. She spent the rest of the time trying to crab crawl away from what she said. She deserves a vacation with Obama, probably at Christmas which he doesn’t celebrate.
Interesting. Kelly reminds me very much of O’Reilly in his earlier days (when I liked him better) when he did not brook any spin whatsoever, and called out guests that tried to spin in no uncertain terms. Powers is usually an articulate guest who I have seen numerous times. But we are talking about ideological blindness. Liberals will NEVER own up to black racism, no matter how obvious the example. They just see the world through liberal blinders.
Perhaps it is self-serving to say this, but I really do not think conservatives always do this. My “wake up and smell the coffee” moment was when Bill Clinton was protected by the vast majority of Dems during the Lewinsky scandal willing to sell their souls for purely political reasons, when I knew in my heart that had Clinton been a Republican, I still would have wanted him impeached. My feeling is that Conservatives just want the debate to be honest and fair. Liberals could not care less about honesty or fairness. They want the game rigged in their favor.

Now, more than ever, character matters. I don’t see how anyone can spew this political nonsense with out it violating one’s own sensibilities, unless they have little character. Character gives substance to credibility. Without it, people are simply liars. The left doesn’t like being called liars, especially when the are lying. If they had character and integrity there would be no need to cultivate deception. The bloom is off the rose and the sunlight is coming.
I have watched the debate again and again and it never gets old. After her performance, Kirsten Powers should be fired and end up working for a Penny Saver paper somewhere.

A thought that came to mind while watching this was of the father coaching a little league team who, to be sure to avoid showing any favoritism, treated his own son harder than anyone else on the team.
What we have with the DOJ’s actions towards the NBPP/voter intimidation case is the virtual opposite. The DOJ is bending over [almost] backwards to treat the NBPP with kid gloves though stopping short of dropping the charges entirely. (The DOJ probably thought dropping the charges would have been tad too obvious.)
