“Wake the F**k Up Michelle Malkin, You’re Black;” Update: NAACP grievance-palooza! Tea Party is “threat to the pursuit of justice” for all; NAACP shuts off webcast; Tea Party resolution passes

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 13, 2010 01:19 PM

Scroll for updates…NAACP cuts off webcast, lights out on Tea Party debate

Soooo…does this mean I can join the NAACP? Because I’d really like to bring some diversity of thought to the community of colored people:

What is it with all these progressives obsessed with my skin color?

***

Speaking of the NAACP, I’ve been monitoring the convention proceedings all morning. You can follow along on my Twitter (of Color!) account.

So far:

Earth-shattering civil rights resolutions have included:

*a resolution “supporting Native Americans” (which one member objected to because Native Americans were “slaveholders”);

*a resolution enshrining “DIVERSITY” as the NAACP’s top educational goal;

*a resolution banning the use of Tasers by police (which one member, a black female police officer, objected to because it would result in a blanket ban that takes away law enforcement alternatives…but whose objection was met with dead silence);

and

*a resolution opposing the closure of failing government schools (which one member pointed out was filled with grammatical errors).

Waiting for the resolution condemning Tea Party activists.

Much more on that to come.

***

5:51pm Eastern. The Tea Party-bashing fest has finally begun. The resolution calling on “all people of good will” to “repudiate” the “racism” of the Tea Party is now being debated. The resolution says the Tea Party movement is a “threat to the pursuit of justice” for all.

Member wants to qualify that only “some” are racist in the Tea Party movement instead of “all” because CNN criticized Obama for issuing blanket indictment of the Tea Party movement.

Another member objects to demand that Tea Party “expel racial instigators,” says it violates free speech principles.

6:00pm Eastern…NAACP member calls for officials to shut out press…webcast shut down.

6:21pm Eastern. NAACP = Keystone Cops. Read here.

In case you missed it, here’s the St. Louis Tea Party’s preemptive rebuttal to the the NAACP.

7:15pm Eastern Out of sight, but not out of mind. The anti-Tea Party resolution passes. No text available of the measure.

Oh, and I have some bad news for the NAA(L)CP. Free Negros owned slaves in America!

Maybe the NAA(L)CP can start by paying reparations to themselves…

The fact is large numbers of free Negroes owned black slaves; in fact, in numbers disproportionate to their representation in society at large. In 1860 only a small minority of whites owned slaves. According to the U.S. census report for that last year before the Civil War, there were nearly 27 million whites in the country. Some eight million of them lived in the slaveholding states.

The census also determined that there were fewer than 385,000 individuals who owned slaves (1). Even if all slaveholders had been white, that would amount to only 1.4 percent of whites in the country (or 4.8 percent of southern whites owning one or more slaves).

In the rare instances when the ownership of slaves by free Negroes is acknowledged in the history books, justification centers on the claim that black slave masters were simply individuals who purchased the freedom of a spouse or child from a white slaveholder and had been unable to legally manumit them. Although this did indeed happen at times, it is a misrepresentation of the majority of instances, one which is debunked by records of the period on blacks who owned slaves. These include individuals such as Justus Angel and Mistress L. Horry, of Colleton District, South Carolina, who each owned 84 slaves in 1830. In fact, in 1830 a fourth of the free Negro slave masters in South Carolina owned 10 or more slaves; eight owning 30 or more (2).

According to federal census reports, on June 1, 1860 there were nearly 4.5 million Negroes in the United States, with fewer than four million of them living in the southern slaveholding states. Of the blacks residing in the South, 261,988 were not slaves. Of this number, 10,689 lived in New Orleans. The country’s leading African American historian, Duke University professor John Hope Franklin, records that in New Orleans over 3,000 free Negroes owned slaves, or 28 percent of the free Negroes in that city.

Never underestimate the depravity of the left. They are fully capable of sinking so low as to tear the fabric of the space/time continuum.

If so, can I join the NAA(L)CP?

Actually, IIRC there was a time when anyone, regardless of race, could join if they supported the original aims and goals of the NAACP. Don’t know if that’s true today.

My wife’s nurse for baby #4, Imelda, who was, of course, Ilocano (I asked, and I was right) also went to Sto. Tomas, which required Spanish language courses, which turns out to be very helpful for Filipina natives wanting to be nurses in Texas.

Helps Monsignor out as well, he says la Misa en Español.

Represented beyond their numbers at most church groups and functions. Majority Hispanic parish, but we have the original Germans and Poles who lived out in these parts and established the parish, plus transplanted Yankees, US born Blacks plus people from Africa and the Caribbean, Vietnamese (although there is a majority Vietnamese parish not too far away with a native language Vietnamese service that attracts people who would otherwise be in our parish) and Indians.

Since native born Americans don’t go into the seminary in the numbers needed, possible a partial result of a gay mafia coming into power in many seminaries in the 60s post Vatican II (which also resulted in most of the priest pederasty cases. Very few actual pedophiles, mostly gay men who molested post-pubescent boys), most of our native born priests are older, and we’ve had Kenyan, Spanish and Filipino born priests saying Mass in our church since our old school Irish-Polish American pastor retired several years back.

Back to the NAACP. Not quite 50 years now since the end of Jim Crow laws, the American version of apartheid. Not a Black person alive who isn’t a seasoned citizen who can even remember those days. No reason for an NAACP anymore, except people pay dues and people get paid salaries, why our great grnadchildren will be posting about the NAACP in 2110, I suspect.

Back to the Filipina ladies and our annual church bazaar, I love me them Shanghai Lumpia with banana ketchup…

This August will mark the 47th anniversary of that historic speech. Martin’s “four little children” aren’t little children anymore.

They have grown up. Have we?

Have we grown up enough to turn Martin’s dream into reality?

Do we judge people not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character?

Some of us do judge people by the content of their character,
and I find the content of Krista Keating’s character rather disgusting.

Let’s all grow up and live in a color-blind society, why don’t we?

We had a torpedoman who was half-Black and half-Filipino.

We called him Spadro. He loved it. Sewed it onto his poopie-suit, until a politically correct XO made him take it off.

Except for the turds who enforce Congressional districts in former Confederate states, like Texas.

Ciro Rodriguez won Henry Bonilla’s seat after LULAC sued Texas over the shape of the Congressional district. It was already a majority Hispanic-American district, and Bonilla was of Mexican ancestry. Ciro has been on U-Tube lately for getting in a woman’s face who called him on his bulls**t about hell care and the CBO.

But Bonilla was a Republican, so SCOTUS, with Anthony Kennedy, the coin flip, providing the majority, ordered Texas to redraw the district to make it a safe seat not for Hispanics, but for Democrat Hispanics. (The old seat was too rural/suburban, and US citizens of Mexican ancestry who live in their own homes or on their own farms and ranches just weren’t reliable enough voters). Now the district, about a 10 hour drive on I-10, and across the Central and Mountain Time zones, includes enough urban San Antonio and El Paso to make it a safe seat.

The solution to this ultra-right domination lies in building the broadest, most inclusive unity among our multinational, male/female, multigenerational working class, starting with the labor movement, racially and nationally oppressed people, women, and youth. We must unite lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and straight people; professionals and intellectuals; seniors; and the disabled; and the mass peoples movements including the peace, environmental, health care, education, housing, and other movements. This all-peoples front to defeat the ultra-right is in the process of developing, learning, and being tested in giant struggles for peace, to protect social programs and services, to win health care for all, and to win control of all three branches of government from the right wing.

It was liberal white professors at the University of Hawaii who started the Native Hawaiian Sovereignty and Hawaiian Nation movements back in the ’60s. They claim that the overthrow of the monarchy in 1898 was illegal. And they want the Crown lands returned to the Hawaiian people. This is despite the fact that they could be punished by death for fishing in the king’s pond, hunting on royal land, or standing on the king’s shadow.

Basically, the native Hawaiians want to be treated just as well as the American Indians.

Krista scares me because she is so archetypical:

Her Christian name (she probably is atheist) is Krista, which is really just a feminine nickname of Christian. It’s like Buffy, or Cyn, or Vickie.

She actually has been honored by a taxpayer funded University for some “totally bogus” Major and her, like, thesis. The college she attended should have its creditation removed, and then be used for artillery training.

Hip-Hop isn’t culture; it’s an absence of culture. It’s the result of Barry Gordy moving Motown to Los Angeles in 1970. In my short lifetime we’ve gone from “My Girl” and “I Second That Emotion” to “Baby Got Back” and “Who Let the Dogs Out.”

She’s from the Bay Area, which is Ground Zero for New Age Hedonism. In Texas and Oklahoma, nice girls don’t kiss on the first date. In California, nice girls don’t do fellatio on the first date.

She will never forgive her parents for being White. I would be surprised if, assuming she likes boys, she has ever had a Cracker boyfriend. That’s a big assumption.

She will probably get a teacher’s certificate and carry on with her task of re-programming America’s youth.
