A Sheila Jackson Lee Twofer

This week brought us a Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-umb) twin-spin of lunacy, race hustling and a dose of geographic ignorance.
Jackson Lee, who continues to champion the cause of securing American women the same rights that women in China, Algeria, Afghanistan and Rwanda enjoy (okay American ladies, altogether now, “Thanks Sheila!”), was in typical form at the NAACP convention this week. The convention was held in Kansas City, which of course isn’t far from Omaha — home of the beach where D-Day began after the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.
First up, we find out that Jackson Lee hasn’t had a refresher course in geography since at least 1975, if ever:
Democratic Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee — who once famously asked where she could find photos of the American flag that Neil Armstrong planted on Mars — yesterday insisted, in stark defiance of basic facts of history, that “today we have two Vietnams, side by side, North and South, exchanging and working. We may not agree with all that North Vietnam is doing, but they are living in peace.”
Here’s Sheila in all her… whatever it is:
Jackson Lee had previously referred to “countries like Europe.” Wait, it was President Obama who said that — nevermind.
Sheila Jackson Lee may well have ended up mentally challenged due to her oxygen supply being cut off for an extended period of time after choking on a deck of race cards she’d accidentally ingested, but she’s still not afraid to play with that deck:
And I thank you professor very much. I’m going to be engaging you with those very powerful numbers that you have offered on what the tea party recognizes, uh, or is recognized as. Might I add my own P.S.? All those who wore sheets a long time ago have now lifted them off and started wearing [applause], uh, clothing, uh, with a name, say, I am part of the tea party.
Did the wacko on the moonbat pulpit with an undying loyalty to the party that just wept as they buried a beloved former Klansman say the Tea Party traded in their white hoods for Brooks Brothers? Jackson Lee of course isn’t alone on this.
She can talk about fashion all she wants, but it’s almost impossible to accessorize stupid.

I understand it makes people feel good to give the mentally retarded jobs. But this woman has to go. She is a disgrace.
Honestly though I am not seeing to much hope of her being voted out. In order for that to happen, the voters that elected her have to be at least slightly aware of what she is saying and doing when she somewhere other than the campaign trail.
More proof that there needs to be some kind of standard met before people are allowed into a voting booth.
That district would be less embarrassed if they would elect a farm animal to Congress.

I wish there were a cable network that would pull this kind of material together, and simply ridicule these politicians until they admit their stupdity or are forced to run from every camera.
Call me racist, but you could run 24-hour network ridiculing almost every member of the Black Congressional Caucus. I single them out because they represent some of the safest House seats in the country. And I’m unwilling to believe that blacks are so stupid to vote for these clowns. They are the overseers of the Democratic plantation–Rangel, Jackson, Clyburn, Waters, and so forth. Let’s get over the racism and ridicule these people for what they are–incompetent idiots.

Now if she were a Republican, it would be running regularly on the Comedy Network. Then again, she wouldn’t even be in office.
She is in a heavily gerrymandered district to ensure she has a majority Black base and will never lose.
Texas Lege Republicans were finally in power after the 2000 census, and redistricted out most of the gerrymanders that caused Texas to be over-represented by Democrats in the US House as a percentage of Dem voters.
But because of fear of the DoJ and the Civil Rights Act, they were careful to carve out seats for Lee and an equally stupid Marxist up in Dallas. LULAC didn’t like a majority Hispanic district, because they elected a Hispanic Republican, Henry Bonilla, so LULAC sued Texas, and with Anthony Kennedy flipping the coin, ordered the district re-jiggered to stretch from El Paso to San Antonio, picking up more urban Hispanics, as the Americans of Mexican ancestry living on farms, ranches and in suburbs couldn’t be trusted to vote correctly.
Now the seat, in a long skinny district over 400 miles long and covering 2 time zones, has Ciro Rodriguez as its representative.
But Blacks basically vote like mindless automatons, and will always vote for a Black candidate, no matter how stupid, incompetent, or dishonest, if the opponent is a cracker. Just a sad fact.
Look at Marion Barry.
Lee holds that seat until she retires or dies.

Ignorant is also what they would be if they think I am the kind of person to apologize for things I say. Again, if I don’t mean it, I don’t say it. Frees me from having to act like a scuzzy politician and give little non-apology apologies.
I tend more towards a, “If you don’t like what was said, grow a thicker skin,” mentality.

Part of the Civil Rights act basically has given courts a say-so in how states of the former Confederacy, like Texas and Georgia, draw districts. The states draw the districts knowing a group like LULAC, the NAACP, or the Justice Department can sue if they haven’t carved out enough safe Black seats.
So people like Cynthia McKinney and Jackson-Lee have safe districts, majority minority, lots of high school drop puts, lots of unwed mothers, lots of people who don’t work and feed at the public trough. The Looter Class, if you’re familiar with Rand.
The country as a whole would never elect these turds, but districts of complete losers are a requirement in the Southern states, and they select representation that reflects the district.

Keeping people trapped on gov programs and getting elected to expand those gov programs will not cause minorities to get on a path to prosperity. Poverty breeds poverty because the individuals conducting the programs want job security, so their goal is to maintain the poverty. Until the black caucus realizes that, it will continue to use the race card.

Thats probably the best question of all. She is a horrible example of a human being but is a leader in her community. Don’t they have Fox news there? Are they so jaded they think they need to elect such a lousy human to front their victimhood? Do they not have a choice there? Are they so entrenched in the Democratic theme of Republicans are for whites only but we are for you, that they can’t think for themselves?
Are they not informed that their situation is not getting better under her leadership and its time for a change and hope? Is that really the best they can do? Don’t they have primaries there? Is she running with no primary opposition? They can not find anyone even a little better? So sad for them and so sad for us as a society.

Why a challenger doesn’t just run clips of her speeches and campaign on a “she’s dumber than a box of rocks” platform is beyond me. Maybe all of the politicians in her district are this stupid. Could it be she’s the most intelligent of the bunch?

As my learned brother-in-law, retired PhD in chemistry, has been known to say about his own education:
“I earned by BS (B**l S***t degree), my MS ( More S***t degree ), and PhD (Piled higher and Deeper degree) just so I would be “qualified” to teach at my local community college. Doesn’t mean I really learned anything unless I wanted to.”
You can’t fix stupid, and apparently you can’t vote it out of office. She’s on a par with the majority of her constituents, who seem unable to listen to what she says. For some voters, the race of their representative is the most important qualifier.
Alas, a majority of her constituents, equally ignorant, probably agree completely with what she says.
Oh, yes, and the sad thing is, she has a political science degree from Yale and a law degree from the University of Virginia. How is that possible? What does that say for an Ivy League education? She’s obviously dumber than a post. Even lawyers should have been general knowledge than she does.
