May God Bless Mr. Rosas.
Since the killing of Agent Rosas nothing in the Border Patrol policy has changed. The conditions along the border have gotten more violent and there are bounties on the head of EVERY Agent. The drug cartels are operating openly in the border cities and have brought their violence within feet of the US border and still our borders are NOT secured.
Agent Rosas did die in vain because there is no will in DC to protect the US or its citizens, or the valient and courageous Border Patrol Agents who are on the front lines.
At a meeting of Sens. McCain and Kyl with Border Patrol officials in Douglas AZ, in June, we were told that it is too dangerous to put the Agents right on the border, driving the border road as visible deterrents to illegals. So instead they are stationed miles from the border to catch them AFTER they come across. That is the policy of DHS.
Come November remember Agent Rosas and rancher Rob Krentz, another American citizen murdered by illegal drug dealers, and vote your outrage at the ballot box. Every sitting Congress person has blood on their hands for these killings. Send a message and send them all packing.
The libtards want to pull the troops out of Afganistan, Iraq, and close Gitmo. Okay. Let’s “redeploy” them to the U.S./Mexico border.
Problem solved.
(Though I’d rather they stay where they are and just send each border state’s National Guard to the border.)
By Choice,
I agree. God please be with the Rosas family.

Obama and this gubmint protecting Americans from ALL INVADERS.
I know what you mean but this sounds better:
“Obama and this gubmint protecting
AmericansALL INVADERS fromALL INVADERSAmericans.Aren’t these people just “undocumented” Americans? /sarc off.
And, may he rest in peace and God bless his family.
Go here, if you’d like to see a great political cartoon of Juan McAmnesty.
I get so mad at our Federal government that uses such fine Americans as fodder in the slimy underhanded drive to mindlessly and illegally import millions of unskilled/under-skilled laborers. There is SO MUCH not RIGHT with this situation. God Bless agent Rosas, his family and all the fine folks of the US CBP.
Having a border secured with the full might of the US military would do a lot to prevent such deaths. It is well past time to bring order to border and make all those seeking to come to the US do so the right way — eg. the LEGAL way. If you can’t or won’t come here the legal way, I don’t want you here — period.
RIP Agent Rosas – and please forgive us for the charade our government puts on.
May God grant His peace to the Rosas family…
So in all honesty, we have given away US land to the drug cartels. Sounds like we are setting up tribal territory similar to Pakistan.
Let’s take ByChoice’s suggestion…if this is the best Congress can do, we owe it to Agent Rosas and the entire CBP to vote them the he– out of office!
RIP Robert Rosas Jr. On behalf of my Government, I apologize for our lack of due diligence that contributed to your untimely death. May God and you forgive us.
Rest in Peace Robert Rosas.
Now you’re in a Place that has REAL border security!
With all the protestors out against Arizona, this is very timely..just not important enough to make it to prime time news. Shame on them.
I pray for God’s peace and loving embrace of all the border patrol agents, innocent civilians and police officers slain by these 3rd world thugs. I pray their families can forgive us and our government’s failures. If the border is not secured we’ll all be living in a narco state within 20 years.
Excellent tre!
A second memorial? What, was this guy some sort of hero like Michael Jackson?
Just kidding folks! That was sarcasm aimed at the morons who worship MJ.
Rest in Peace Robert Rosas.
I’m sorry. It shouldn’t be this way.
We are blessed by God to have such men.
Sooner or later, there will be a massive shootout on the border between the cartels and/or illegal smuggling. Americans will be killed. That maybe the time when people will grab their guns and finally decide to take matters in their own hands. A lot of people on both sides will be hurt. Politicians will scream racism and breakage of the law, to no avail. It will all come to a boil with the people sick of the cartel violence and illegal crossings.
FYI: Border Patrol Agents are not stationed away from the border. They are deployed near and deep, all through the desert, wildlands and urban areas.
The Border Patrol Agents are out there detecting, tracking and apprehending illegals of all sort.
There are “X’s” where they watch select areas, but most Agents are either on foot, in SUVs, on ATVs or horseback, scattered all over the desert and wildlands, defending this great nation.
Of course they catch them once they cross into the United States. They can’t “catch” them if they are still in Mexico. That is why we need a detection system in place–to detect the illegals before they cross and detect them when they cross. . .electronic detection systems are out there (sensors), and more advanced systems are underway (RPVs and SBInet).
The Agents need better tools to anticipate where they need be (it is a huge desert).
May this officer rest in peace. His sacrifice will not be forgotten.
Unfortunately, you may be anticipating a potential future.
I’ll say prayers for his family, friends and our messed up country.
RIP Officer Robert Rosas, God bless you, your family and all others in uniform and out that try to protect and save America. I refer to the front line people not the swarmy bureaucrats that allow these American service people to work areas more dangerous than need be.
I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Mrs. Rosas yesterday. What a strong family.
It was so nice to see so much support from the local community, I know she appreciated that.
