Charlie Crist: The depths of political lame-assery
Really. I don’t know what else to call it. But in just seven brief, fleeting seconds, Charlie Crist manages to show us what the rock bottom of political lame-assery looks like: Smug mixed with deer-in-the-headlights fear mixed with vulgar, instinctive political calculation, topped with a sickly orange glow.
Just watch. With an empty stomach, of course:
“No reaction” to the Arizona immigration enforcement ruling.
Dear Florida: Please, please deliver the proper reaction to the execrable Crist at the ballot box and wipe that orange smirk off his face.

Our governor’s primary race is also unbelievable. A gazillionaire vs a career politician. The mud that is flying has already turned into an avalanche. We are buried up to our eyeballs. Heaven help us. This is where “none of the above” applies.
On a lighter note….I love Marco Rubio. And can we clone Chris Christie (sp?).

This guy turned on Republicans at the blink of an eye in order to maintain his power and position. He is a backstabber. How anyone could vote for a turncoat like that amazes me. Look at Spector, he blows in the wind whichever way to get elected and even changed parties after being elected as a Republican.
Now Crist is going down that same road. Who knows what this clown believes. If you vote for him, you don’t know what you will get.

I really liked Charlie Crist when he was the host of “Tales from the Crypt”.
Tanning bed doesn’t produce that orange glow. He is evading the tax by going “spray on” like John Kerry– with both tax and tan.
I liked him when he was helping Frodo and Sam find their way to Mordor. But then we found out he was only after “MY PRECIOUS”
Is he one of those Reptilians? Put Crist next to Obama to alleviate the fly problem.

The betting on Intrade has Crist at a better than 50% chance of winning.
And McCain is at 90 over JD.
I used to think the American electorate was going to need a great deal more pain before they would begin to realize they can’t keep voting for elitist, big government multiculturalist types like Obama, Crist and McCain yet still expect anything to actually change for the better.
It appears no amount of pain will be enough. The more pain, the more the mindless herd runs toward the big government butchers of freedom.

The Republican Party sure does a good job of picking RINOs. Crist goes right along with Specter. This whole thing doesn’t make Jeb Bush look particularly good if he ever intends a presidential run – which I hope never happens.

Good Job?? Picking and supporting RINOs is the primary mission of GOP national leadership. They reluctantly, if at all, support real grass-roots conservatives – and only when the candidates are far too popular to dismiss or ignore. Which is why I NEVER funnel financial support through the national GOP organizations. I support candidates directly,
Exactimundo! Nor do I. The quickest way for any politician to loose my support, is when they stick out their hand and ask for a donation. I research, and give, without having to be asked, to those I feel worthy of support.
The same goes to all those “charitable” organizations who call asking for donations. DO NOT CONDUCT FINANCIAL TRANSACTIONS OVER THE PHONE. That is, unless you want to fund the businesses running the fundraisers! Or, if you want to risk your information falling into the hands of crooks.
Like Hawkeye says…fund your support DIRECTLY…no middleman needed.
He looks like a few folks I saw at Sea Girt last weekend…….Sometimes I dont know whether to snicker or feel sorry for them….They dont look healthy and they’re begging for skin cancer. I have just heard on the radio that Rubio trails this fool by six points,if the election were held today.I wish to apologize for the morons here in Florida who think Crist the better Senator. They must be the same morons who are in love with Bill “the space-cadet” Nelson since he somehow gets re-elected every 6 years.
I apologize also to the true fools and morons out there that I may have offended by comparing them to Democrats since you all are basically harmless. The Democrats do actual damage.
That is a display of total arrogance. He doesn’t feel the need to say anything and he doesn’t car how it looks to be mute on such a substantial issue. That’s why he starts to smile immediately after he gives his answer.
Makes you want to step up on stage and beat the hell out of him and then ask him if he has a reaction now.
Right now Crist is leading Rubio 39% to 34%, according to the poll I saw on my local news last night. Those of us from Florida need to get out there and get the word out about Rubio…we will be in a mess if Crist wins in November. My fear is that Rubio has run of steam.

Don’t let a poll fool you. Remember some polls showed JfKerry ahead in Oct. 2004, but he got a shock in Nov. People who trumpet these things want you to be scared and perhaps not vote. Don’t be fooled.
