House Floor Speech Meltdown of the Week

Yesterday, New York Rep. Anthony Weiner tried to channel Nikita Khrushchev minus the shoe and even some of the dignity, believe it or not. These outbursts aren’t rarities for Weiner, but this hissy fit was especially ‘roid-ragey.
Eyeblast sets up the clip:
Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) took to the House floor and threw a temper tantrum against Republicans equivalent to shutting off a video game on a four year old. His anger stemmed from Republican proposed amendments in heavily watered down liberal legislation. God forbid!
It resulted in this:

If I recall right, Rush said some sort of amnesty was tacked into this bill. King(I believe) said they d’s had three years to get this bill passed with the 9/11 thing in it and did not do it. These d’s are going down and they know it! They tack everything each one of them wanted from day one in every bill to see if it will pass. It seems weiner did not mention that d’s voted against this also. It is all the nasty r’s fault.

Yessirree. This is only the latest in the never-ending line of cynical, cheap, sneaky ploys of the leftists. The aid bill for first responders was tacked onto some sort of immigration bill.
Weiner is exactly that. His mockery of a sham of a mockery or outrage deserves a good slap upside his pointy head.
Stick a fork in that weiner…it is done! What an incredible display of “my way or the highway”. These progressives are crashing, burning, and going more and more insane by the minute. It is not pretty.
Lies are acceptable as a means to an end, and, well, it would be no secret to them. They desperately want more dem voters, dues paying union workers, and gov’t program clients any way they can get them….and as soon as possible to make sure they hold on to political power forever.

Why not just let the Democrats have big daily conferences with President Obama and decide what laws and dictates they would like to pass over on the country. No votes or bipartisanship necessary. Yesterday my 4 year old granddaughter had a similar meltdown. I told her to shape up or take a nap. She straightened up. This morning on Fox News Congressman Weiner was still having a meltdown.

Just listened to Weiner and Peter King on Hannity and Weiner still hasn’t stopped with the ranting.
His beef is that although the Dems could pass this bill without any GOP votes, he argues that the Republicans are being irresponsible by not throwing enough votes into the pot to get it passed.
So it’s not so much about passing the bill but avoiding having to own the bill. Gives us a little insight into how things get down in more “bipartisan” times. You know, “Gangs of McCain”? Kabuki?
The day after the ’08 election, I said, “Now the Democrats really have no one to blame but themselves.”
But their peabrains are still stuck in 2005. Newsflash to the Dems: you’re in charge, kiddies, and you’re absolutely living up to expectations.
I don’t listen to Rush that much, but I concur with him here. Look at your own party before you go blaming the minority leadership, Weiner.
HEY – Had Enough Yet?
Me too and Hannity held his own pretty well but I wished he could have been more specific re: 4 Dems that voted No as well as the 7 who were no votes. Also, he should have held Weiner’s feet to the fire to answer the question as to why they didn’t just have a regular up/down vote.
Regardless, Hannity brought out the Weenie in Weiner.

He is a certified lunatic.As I’m watching Glenn Beck, it’s occurring to me that America is going through a great awakening. It’s not about Democrat/Republican anymore and at the ground level, that is no longer in dispute. Only in the media, left and right, is this still partisan.
We are seeing everyday with our own eyes and ears exactly how arrogant and out of touch our government is. Dem and Rep alike, they are determined to usurp or undermine the Tea Party movement and both are failing. While the Dems try to define us as being the “radical extremist right” wing of the GOP, the GOP shrinks in fear while denying any connection to us. Why? Because they don’t want to be indebted to us after the election. Once returned to power, they will return to the same agenda they were working on in 2006 and 2008 when they got booted, the one that laid the foundation for what is now going on.
Has everyone forgotten that the very GOP being led by the very same leadership that was calling us bigots, right-wing extremists, purists, and so on, is about to return to power? We cannot afford to celebrate on November 3rd because we will again find ourselves fighting the Gangs of McCain.

I mean, growing up with such an unfortunate last name, he probably had to fight his way in and out of school, which may account for that schnozz of his. Thank God his parents did’nt think to name him Richard. Can you just imagine the hell a little Dick Weiner would’ve had to have endured at every roll call? Bad enough that gym teachers always tend to call their charges by their last name: “Hey, WEINER!! Pick it up, boy, yer lookin’ positively droopy!” He’s probably going through hell today as the other congress folk try to guess which is bigger: His nose, or his last name.

If Weiner thinks outbursts like these are cool to throw on the House floor, or on O’Reilly, I feel bad for his newly-minted wife.
