Who is Democrat Rep. Melissa Bean’s muscle man?
Regular readers of this blog remember the town hall-ducking tactics of Democrat Rep. Melissa Bean of Illinois. (Refreshers here, here and here.)
She now has a new method of shielding herself from taxpayers’ tough questions. The beleaguered Democrat has apparently hired her own muscle man to glower and menace troublesome constituents.

He realy had the squinty, scowly thing down. I am not sure what the point of the credit card slide show was – although Democrats do seem to think it is a hot button issue with Americans (wrong), more so than reckless, malfeasent government spending and debt.
I can understand if he was a body guard but Ms. Bean was under no threat whatsoever unless feeling uncomfortable is threatening to her. If so, she should find another line of work.
Granted, the guy’s a union thug and crossed the line BUT….
The guy with the camera was “bull baiting” Meilssa. He was shouting questions at her and interrupting the presentation. (was he doing this specifically to get this reaction ?) It makes a nice Youtube video showing how Dems intimidate calm citizens at townhalls, but this guy was disruptive.
(Howard Stern’s guys do this to celebrities all the time- ticking them off on purpose in order to get an angry reaction. Then they take that recording to illustrate what jerks celebrities are.)
His behavior warranted extra scrutiny, not to this degree however.

In a nutshell, a guy will hover over someone who wants or does ask a question to this female. It seems his size is to keep those quiet. This guy is there, as was the black panthers to keep the voters quiet. Others here, is this correct?

The first person he hovered over was a woman asking a question. If that were my wife, I’d loudly accuse him of trying to look down her shirt and call the police.
This is pathetic on a grand scale.She is a complete coward and gets to make decisions on all our lives.
First off, it doesn’t seem as if he intimidated anyone. Conservatives are a hardy bunch, at least the ones that I know, and aren’t typically intimidated all that easily.
Which isn’t to say that he didn’t try. He obviously did. But he failed.
All of the talk about punching him, etc. is silly. We are civil. We aren’t intimidated. And, of course, we are able to defend ourselves if it came to that.
Videos like this go a long way in keeping it from coming to that, which is awesome.
More importantly, they add to the increasing tide against the fascism that some (not all) liberals seem to embrace in ever increasing measure.
I’d love to know if Igor really worked for Bean, or if he was merely free-lancing. Let’s face it, a LOT of liberals have said that they will ‘infiltrate.’ This can mean just about anything, including standing over someone and glaring.
It would be great to see one of the attendees sue this thug for assault (aka “the threat of imminent battery.”)
Bean’s Schaumburg office claims the thug works for the library, and was there to “maintain order and security”. The library staff isn’t talking, and the library director isn’t answering his phone.
Who is this guy? Who hired him? What discussions did Bean have with the library director regarding security? Inquiring minds want to know.
A vote for any Democrat is a vote for Reid and Pelosi. They are just zombies.

He was clearly working the room at her behest. Did she look scared? Concerned? Did she ask him to stop and sit down? Did he not follow her out to her car, interferring with the cameraman asking her questions? He was her henchman, clearly!
And, his name is not Igor…it’s either Rolf, Hans, or Adolf…and he’s clearly a coward!
What is it about Illinois politicos and their propensity for thuggery, and intimidation? I suppose they are so devoid of innovation and ideas, they are forced to shove themselves down the throat of decency, and do it under the implied threat of harm.

This wasn’t a townhall but a seminar. If I want to know about credit cards I’ll go talk to the my banker. What garbage! Why didn’t this crowd just walk out? Why sit and listen to all this dribble? Or everyone could have quietly sat with a sign saying YOU’RE FIRED!!! The political elites have made it perfectly clear that they have no intention of representing us or listening to us, so why continue to listen to spin, deception and down right lies from them. Bureaucrats in Il have had a long history of deflecting complaints. What was in the tape is so typical. This candidate and other like her have been doing this for a long time. In Il, have a nice day/evening really means FU.

If there is a curvacious, beautiful young woman in a colorful dress walking around the room, approaching people who are asking questions out of line, is she a thug also?
I don’t get this “thug” thing.

1) In a place with numerous people in the room, it isn’t a bad idea when a musclehead approaches you in an intimidating manner to raise your voice and call attention to his actions so that the entire room is aware of the problem.
Of course, in many cases the public are sheep and will not take a stand against such tactics.
However, there are occasions in which there are tough, no nonsense men, and no nonsense women in the room who will unite and take the thug out.
Believe me, one musclebound thug against a few tough, no nonsense men and women would lose.
Of course, after watching this scenario in the video tape I am thinking, perhaps if anyone attends those type of meetings, they should bring mace and tazers with them so they can zaap the thugs who try to intimidate them and who try to curcumvent their right to speak.
The thug is the guy with the buzzcut, who unequivocably violates a woman’s personal space while she is asking a question.
In civil court, where you only need 50% of the jury to agree with you, what he was doing is battery. My Cousin Vinny could get a guilty-verdict on this guy.
You can hold your breath, twist your undies, and stomp your feet – but it doesn’t change things. That man obviously assaulted that woman by deliberately – and with malice – trying to intimidate her while she asked a US Congressman a question.
The fact that he failed would actually factor into the case, since the defense would claim no intimidation – but they’d lose.
She’d win in civil court – presuming he had any $ to begin with, which is unlikely.
So, is Melissa Bean, D-Il, in a safe seat? Is there a hope of throwing her out? Why didn’t someone get this bullet head’s ID?
The guy did not have anything on his person identifying him as Security. He was intimidating by his look and action of leaning close to or standing close to anyone who asked a question. He was clearly in her camp because anyone in the audience who asked her a question, this guy was all over them–but careful to say nothing and touch no one. This horrible congressperson engaged in intimidation tactics with her own constituents – how despicable. She practically ran to her car when the meeting was overl. C’mon folks – we don’t like our so-called reps and they obviously don’t like us. We must rid ourselves of these rulers.
A woman just called into the Dana Loesch show in St. Louis and said that he told her she would be removed if she had another outbreak after she made a comment about Fannie and Freddie. Apparently Bean had stated that no one in government had said that F&F were not stable. The woman stated that in 2009 Barney’s Frank had admitted that F&F were not stable. The woman stated that the guy was very threatening and intimidating. She also stated that he was an employee of the library where the event was held. I think the public should demand he be terminated from his public job and Bean needs to be ousted.
She is a Democrat in a very conservative part of Chicagoland. I don’t live there any more, but unless things have changed dramatically I would not assume her seat is safe.

I was just reading up on her opponent. He’s a Tea Party candidate, and the NRCC won’t help him because he beat their favorite candidates in the primary.
He’s a teacher, and a member of the Heartland Institute. After reading about him, I wish I did still live there so I could vote for him. He seems very very conservative.

This woman is trying to control the dialog. She knows that her constituents are angry with her, knows that she can’t be honest, so she’s ducking questions and intimidating anyone who tries to stray away from her narrative. Absolutely sickening… No wonder the Dems are running scared…
Folks, don’t forget. We are talking about Illinois, the home of political bullies and truth cowards. This is reminiscent of the ward captains maintaining order in Chicago during Capone’s time and a tradition that continues today.
This is what not what the Democrat party has come to, it is a revelation of what it has always been. First, the Democrats were the party of choice for the KKK and their penchant to hang blacks for even looking at a white woman or daring to walk into an all-white restaurant. Now, they are doing the same thing except now, the object of their hatred and scorn is anyone conservative or a member of the Tea Party.
Under the guise of progressive policies, the regression into the Hitler mindset is astounding but not surprising. In Illinois that type of behavior is considered to be assault and is unlawful. Furthermore, it took place on public property which in Illinois raises it to aggravated assault.
Unfortunately it is still a misdemeanor when done to any ordinary citizen. It would become a felony if done to a politician, however.
