Campaign Gimmick of the Year

By Doug Powers  •  August 24, 2010 01:55 PM

**Written by Doug Powers

Republican Marty Lamb is running for Congress in the 3rd Congressional District in Massachusetts, and his campaign mailer contains something most voters can use these days — A barf bag:

If this doesn’t work, the next logical step is toilet paper.

Perhaps we should save those for the Democrats – I’m hoping they’ll need them when Midterm results come in in November.

Reminds me of the stickers I still have. You place them on the push-knobs of the electric hand dryers in public restrooms. Sticker says, “and now a word from congress”. Think I’m bring em out….

    Sooooo who is this guy?

Via beforeitsnews: RINO Alert: Republican Marty Lamb’s Conversion to the GOP Last Fall

Seems he’s a real estate attorney, no political or leadership experience, switched to the GOP just last fall and has a record of supporting Dem candidates.

Is he the answer to the pukers in Congress or will he just become another one who “sucks less” than the dems? I guess I’d rather see substantive stuff than slick gimmicks – but I gues it got attention, so I could be wrong.

A Massachusetts republican, not necessarily a conservative. Still, a vote against Pelosi for Speaker is worth something. I wish him well.

I’m thinking clothes pins for the noses of those of us voting for Chris Dudley for Oregon governor. Upside: he does seem to be a fiscal conservative. Downside: He’s pro-choice. He gives the usual “abortions should remain legal, but limited” waffle. Which makes me wonder: If abortions are morally neutral, why should they be limited? I’d like to see a true fiscal and ethical conservative on the left coast. I think I’ll be waiting a long time.

One of my favorite local radio hosts here in WA ST delivered a porta potty to Olympia back in Feb 11th of this year. That “barf bag” is WAY TOO SMALL for me–I get really sick every time I get my next Comrade Obama (PBUH) speech or action. Not to mention his socialist / marxist / statist congressional ilk.

Can you order these in 55 gallon size? That should do for a week or so. The AMERICAN PRAVDA “news” makes me a lot sicker than the bad Army food did many years ago–at both ends.
