Dem Congressman: Pelosi Might ‘Get Sick and Die’

Heading into November, it sounds like some Democrats have grown tired of running from the politically toxic Nancy Pelosi and have instead decided that the best strategy is to start coughing on her a lot to see what happens.
From Greg Sargent at the Washington Post:
Yesterday I noted here that some House Dems in tough districts are now aggressively distancing themselves from the Obama/Pelosi agenda, with some Dems taking direct shots at the President and the Speaker.
Blue Dog Dem Bobby Bright of Alabama has raised this to a new level, joking to constitutents that Pelosi might “get sick and die” before he has to support her again for Speaker, a local reporter tells me.

So I called the reporter, Cosby Woodruff, and he gave me Bright’s actual quote.“He had been asked a question from the audience about his support for Pelosi,” Woodruff told me. “He said, `Let’s wait until that comes up. He listed a long list of reasons why Pelosi might not run for Speaker of the House.”
“The last one was, `heck, she might even get sick and die,’” Woodruff told me.
Well, that’s one way to give Pelosi a fleeting moment of regret for putting the government in charge of health care.
With any luck, when the next Congress convenes early next year, it will be the results of November’s elections that relieve Pelosi of her gavel instead of any successful spell Bobby Bright managed to cast with his Queen Nancy voodoo doll (eyelift voodoo kit sold separately).

Well, she already is “sick” (between the ears), and she already looks dead, so it’s not like it’s an illogical idea or anything.
A vote for ANY democrat is a vote for Pelosi, Reid and Obama. There is NO such thing as a moderate Democrat or Blue Dog.
I really dislike Pelosi and her politics, however, judging from her overall appearance now, I bet she was quite hot when she was younger. Just saying, whenever I see her that is the first thing that enters my mind.
DC needs to be swept completely clean of socialists, progressives, big gov promoters and anti-Constitutional elites. If the GOP is not committed to massive cuts in spending and big gov programs, they can go next. The GOP had better be prepared to repeal obamacare, rein in the czars and override any vetoes meant to preserve the progressive agenda. Restore the Constitution or get out of politics.

Only one problem, Doug – Congress expressly exempted itself from ObamaCare. Don’t know if that applies to Congressional funeral expenses, though.
The only way should would loose her seat is if her constiuents felt like she had not got enough of the liberal agenda passed or Che Guevera himself were running for her seat.

The whole idea of a “blue dog democrat” is a lie made from whole cloth by the MSM. The media wants uninformed or semi-informed voters to think that there are actually some democrats who have conservative values – it is a bunch of bull. If someone is running as a democrat, I am going to assume they support TOTALLY a socialistic, big government agenda and have no compunction about destroying our Constitution. There are Republicans who fall into the “blue dog” group–and they should be hounded out of office as well.
And, since Bill Clinton, absolutely no character and no integrity.

Dare we say that even democrats have seen the water below them now. They walked the plank for Nancy and Barry, but have just been falling and hence no pain since then. But now they see the water, and they know that water is going to leave a mark when you freefall that far. The rinos need to wake up and see the water also, or they too can be replaced. Say what you’re going to do, and do what you say. NO MORE “I’M GOING TO TO BRING ABOUT WORLD PEACE.”

No, it is not. My point is that those same words, in that same context, coming from a Republican, would have been interpreted the same as, for example, Wanda Sykes publicly stating that she hoped Rush Limbaugh’s kidneys would fail.

With Nazi Pelosi, I might find her attractive if she wasnt trying to destroy this Country, and lie through her teeth everything she speaks. A while ago, an incumbent only voted about 30% of the time. So the challenger created an ad that showed a couple of officers and a bloodhound searching the state capital for the incumbent. They never found him. The incumbent lost and it was attributed to this specific ad.
However, asking a question of an empty suit is exactly like asking a question of a socialist. You get the same response.
