US Taxpayers Foot the Bill for Pro-Palestinian Ad Campaign in Israel

Last month, a California Congressman distributed talking points among the ranks stressing Obama and the Democrats “unprecedented” support for Israel:

The July 22 memo from Rep. Howard Berman (D-Calif.), chairman of the U.S. House of Representatives’ Committee on Foreign Affairs, declared that the backing from Obama and the House Democrats have been unprecedented.

“I think you will find [this document] useful to make the case that House Democrats and the President are as good if not better than any Congress or Administration that has come before,” Berman, who is Jewish, said in an e-mail to Democrats in Congress.

Meanwhile, across the ocean:

Washington is funding an ad campaign in Israel featuring billboards of Palestinian officials asking: “We are partners — what about you?”

The campaign launched Sunday includes the faces of senior Palestinian Authority officials Saeb Erekat, Jibril Rajoub and Yasser Abed Rabo, and Riad Malki, Palestinian foreign affairs minister, Yedioth Aharonoth said.

The aim of the campaign is to persuade Israelis that peace partners on the Palestinian side truly exist, and calls for support of a two-state solution, the Tel Aviv newspaper said.
[...]
The campaign has raised a few eyebrows in Israel.

“We are talking about a Palestinian Authority campaign funded by the American government,” an Israeli Foreign Ministry official was quoted saying.

The UPI reports that about $250,000 US dollars have been spent on the billboard campaign in Israel (I’d ask how much is being spent to send the same “we’re your peace partner” message to the Palestinians, but I’m guessing I know the answer).

Let me guess the break down of the cost by the Palestian Authority was $50,000 for the billboard and $200,000 for the Palestian Authority to give Hamas to buy more rockets.

Leaving aside, of course, that it’s so over-used by this administration that it’s nearly lost its meaning altogether.

Here is what I got for the word unprecedneted:

    –adjective
without previous instance; never before known or experienced; unexampled or unparalleled: an unprecedented event.

So it looks like perhaps this is another Clinton depending on the definition of is moment. Perhaps what he meant is that this type of support of Isreal is unprecedented in the fact that no other administration has had such tepid support for Isreal.

What is it with Liberal Jews? They held out hope for a reform in National Socialist Germany and were rewarded with Dachau and Bergen Belsen. Soviet Russia gave them the pogroms and Siberia. American Jews are inexorably drawn to “progressive” Socialist movements that invariably betray them.

Never do they consider Conservative alternatives because Conservatives don’t have a bent for the redistribution of others’ wealth. Redistribution is the center of “compassion” and “social justice”. Bizarre. Obama and the Democrats will sell out Israel in a heartbeat if they could.

Berman would perfectly fit the role of the frog in the parable of the Frog and the Scorpion.

I’m thoroughly convinced that Barack Obama’s idea of “peace” in the Middle East is equitable to removing every Jew from that region, and handing it all over to the so-called “Palestinians.” Of course the Muslims there would continue to butcher EACH OTHER (not to mention “kafir” scum like Christians or women not wearing burkas), but that sort of thing can be tolerated, so long as it’s kept in their own backyard (even if “their own back yards” are in cities like Oslo and Paris).

In another 50 or so years, “peace” will reign over all the earth, simply because the earth will be ruled by Islam. People will still be butchered, either because there will be some who refuse to submit to Islam, or there will always be Muslims who believe in killing their own, simply because they don’t follow Islam in the same way, but there won’t be any real opposition to this rule, and thus, there will be “peace.”

I know that Obama would have no problem with the notion of an Islamic world (even though he’s an “apostate” himself); however, he has a misguided notion (as do all hay-wired liberals) regarding what Islam would do to them. I mean, submission to these people isn’t simply bowing and telling them they’re in charge now. Submission means that they aren’t going to enjoy their potentate-like Hollywood lifestyle anymore, because that lifestyle will be banned in a Sharia law-run government.

Peace at any price has always been a tenet of the liberal, and if a few million Jews die for the sake of Middle East “peace,” then so be it. I mean, who are a few Million Jews when compared to lasting “peace” for the whole world? It’s just that they are blinded as to how this “peace” will effect the world, and for a huge majority of them, it will mean throwing their atheism, Darwinism, and Marxism on the trash-heap, and embracing the ravings of a deranged Arab “prophet.” Liberals are leading humanity on a course of mass suicide.
