Like most Americans, I’ve had enough with this administration’s policies. I was fed up and fired up.
I am even more so in the wake of the most moving gathering I’ve ever been privileged to be a part of.
At one point, some of the people attending the Rev. Al Sharpton’s “counter rally,” coined “Reclaiming King,” stopped me. I guess they must have been judging me by the color of my skin not the content of my character, because they asked if I was going to come join them.
“No, I won’t be there,” I told them. “Why?” one of them asked with a grimace on his face. I looked at him and said, “I want to be where the Lord is and the Lord is in this place.”
One of the older black women in the group asked me if I felt like I was “selling out” for being one of the “tokens” in the Beck rally crowd?
I laughed and said “Ma’am, Al Sharpton is a pretender. He is going to tell you to pretend that the color of your skin matters. He is going to ask you to ignore the now overwhelming proof that 50 years after the Civil Rights movement, blacks are now destroying each other faster than the KKK could have dreamed.”
As I walked away, the group stood frozen, not knowing how to reply.
Three cheers for hope and change from independent-minded minorities revolting against their self-appointed civil rights “leaders.”
It’s a long time coming.

The left is terrified that the God of our fathers is not front and center neatly contasting with the left’s self-worship.
Sharpton is a cynical huckster, getting rich by fomenting race-based animus on behalf of a cohort of people who have deliberately been kept ignorant and in poverty by the very “compassion” that has been sold as “helping” them. Race-guilt is a huge industry and blacks are not the victims of anything but that. I hope this is the thin edge of the wedge of blacks awakening to that sad truth.

I’ve said it before; Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are not fit to tie Dr. King’s shoes. Any blacks who attended to Beck rally are not “tokens”, but rather human beings who recognize this.
Mr. Hudson is simply an intelligent man with a great deal of common sense.
These race-hustlers are not self-appointed. They are selected by a lazy and elitist establishment. How did La Raza come to be accepted as speaking for Mexican-Americans? Certainly not by the Mexicans themselves.
For over forty years, they were an unpopular extremist group operating mainly at college campuses. Then suddenly, because of illegal immigration, both parties suddenly realized that Hispanics were soon going to be a dominant voting bloc in America and so joined with the Chamber of Commerce (the modern day slave owners) to seek out a politically-expedient solution. Tada! the unpopular and extremist reconquista LaRaza becomes “legitimatized” and Mexican-Americans are now headed to being the permanent American underclass. The “pathway to citizenship” will be a 13-year gauntlet for these people to be exploited, repressed and eventually kicked out if they don’t unionize.
So they will unionize and we will have another American era of union violence only this time, wedded to “racist” masks.
When I was a very young man, one of my first jobs was a carnival barker. I would stand near an attraction and shout loudly to get everyone’s attention and then try to convince them to come and spend money on what ever attraction I was in charge of at the moment. After several weeks of this, I had perfected various methods of effective speech and body language that worked very well on the crowds. In effect, I had mastered one of my first real money-making jobs, a con man. This is what Al Sharpton and his ilk really are. Me, I left the carnival after one summer, went on to college and a great military career. Al Sharpton? He never left.
Yep. And I predict Beck will hold out the olive branch and “Rev.” Al will soon appear on his show. He knows he’s finito.
Al Sharpton had the opportunity of a lifetime if he had embraced the Restoring Honor rally instead of holding his own counter rally. He truly showed the content of his character by clinging to the notion that MLK’s message was racially exclusive and ignoring the fact that Beck’s rally was all about taking MLK’s words to heart. I noted on the day of the rally that Lincoln’s words “A house divided against itself cannot stand”, rings so true in the case of race relations in our time. Sharpton either didn’t get that or chose for his own agenda to ignore this truth. Either way, his leadership in the black community should be regarded with suspicion. The fact that he could only draw 3,000 like minded people to his counter rally as opposed to Becks hundreds of thousands, shows that the message is finally, slowly dawning on the black community.
Just like his liberal enablers, Sharpton is becoming more irrelevant every day. I’m not sure why people like O’Reilly continue to give him a platform to spew his race hustling rhetoric. The good news…every time he opens his mouth, the country moves further right and that’s a good thing. Maybe I just answered my own question about O’Reilly?

I’m proud of Beck and all of the people that participated in the rally. Sharpton & Company are waning and they know it. The mid-term elections in November can be the turning point for our country and for people that are serious about America and its unique opportunities for all races, colors, and creeds. We’ll see, won’t we?

Remember Al’s Tawana Brawley lies, and how Jessie took in $10 million? in his Rainbow Push Coalition to help deserving Black Students with university costs. As I remember about $200 thousand was actually used for this noble purpose–the rest–98%!–went into Jessie’s wallet. As I remember a lot of it supported his mistresses’ life style.

A black caller methodically shreds Sharpton and The ‘Baiters for nearly a minute, then the uncomfortable host cuts off the call, sips his coffee, and goes to the next caller who picks up where the other guy left off. All the while Sharpton (nice diet Al – looking good. SlimFast or South Beach?) has this deer-in-headlights look of shock and awe. ROFLMAO

These victimhood pimps, whether it’s race pimps like Sharpton and Jackson, or La Raza, or religion pimps like CAIR or just all purpose pimps like ACLU, they all have one thing in common. If the gubmint didn’t feed them, they wouldn’t exist. GRANTS feed these (_*_) and I surely hope that when the new congress comes in it will defund these grant piggies, and change the tort/class action laws regarding compensation back to a fee based structure, with loser paying winner, and losing law firm paying winning lawfirms bills. If you are too poor to file for bankruptcy and pay your lawyer his fee, the law says you are out of luck. WHY IS A CLASS ACTION ANY DIFFERENT? WHY IS A CAR ACCIDENT ANY DIFFERENT? In the car accident, IF YOU HAVE INSURANCE, the insurance companies lawyers go to trial. Slip and fall, PULEESE. We have to get back to a system where our legal system is to provide justice, not be LOTTO.
I’ve decided that we’re been going the wrong direction in our defense of name calling, its done nothing but encourage the left to do more and in ignoring them or defending ourselves, they declare themselves the winner, no matter how the ensuing debate goes.

What would the black community say to a Congressional White Cacus or WAACP, or even a White Miss America pagent. The truth was in the pudding with the University of South Carolina Student Union mess.

The shame of this Doesn’t have anything to do with MLK, which is straight to the point coming from the restore honor rally.
The shame belongs in the madness that comes from the prepubescent level of maturity that can’t allow any, credit where credit is due, other than what suits their own single minded sickness, that lives in the collectivist, progressive, Democrat, heart.
And, if you think about it just a little bit, the inability, the refusing, to give, credit where credit is due, is the root of racism.
The Media have consistently and continually referred to the Tea Parties as “mostly white” and the Restoring America rally as “predominantly white”. The Media have consistently tried to paint opposition to Democratic Socialist policies as being racially-motivated against Obama, the “first black President”.

Here’s the thing….those who happen to not be white but who actually reason and think things through, who know socialism and communism when they see it, and have a strong commitment to God, country and family are NEVER heard from. These patriots are sorta crying out in the wilderness, so to speak. But, they’re out there….we conservatives need to identify them and encourage them to show up at Townhalls, Tea Parties and the like. They’re looking for a platform even though they know they will be ostracized by the non-whites in their communities.
It’s about time the black community woke up and started seeing these race hustlers for what they really are.
