The Barack Obama Experience — Taxes: Bold as Love
**Written by Doug Powers
On Monday I wrote a bit about President Obama’s now semi-notorious “they talk about me like a dog” line that was supposedly improvised during a speech in Milwaukee.
As it turns out, some intrepid researchers are speculating that Obama might have been channeling a line from the Jimi Hendrix song “Stone Free.”
I was skeptical at first, but it kind of makes sense, because another line in that song is “I got to, got to, got to get away” — perfect for somebody who just came off several weeks worth of vacations.
Not only that, but the Hendrix song “Spanish Castle Magic” would cover the first lady’s Antoinette-esque trip to Costa del Sol.
“Hey Joe” creates a nice parallel with Vice President Biden, and “Purple Haze” has the SEIU written all over it.
If that’s not enough, Obama is left-handed, and so was Jimi. I’m officially creeped out!
If you’re still not convinced, consider the fact that Jimi Hendrix once also recorded a song called “I will not extend the Bush tax cuts” — or so I hear.

Brilliant!!
I immediately thought of “Stone Free” when I read B. Hussein Obama’s comment the other day.
Glad I was not alone.
Castles made of sand fall into the sea.. eventually.BHO is still living in a room full of mirrors.
Actually, I speak kinder of dogs…..
(Bassets Rule!)
……and drool!
“I will not extend the Bush tax cuts”-Bush Did it! Liberal manta for generations. I never heard of Hendrix until he was dead, missed out on the whole Woodstock moment, but Bambi does seem to be channeling old cold Jimi big time.
Bets on how long until Pam Geller admits she was wrong about Malcolm X being Obama’s father and instead insists it’s jimi hendrix?
This whole business gives me an idea for what me a fine moniker for Obama. If you recall the dictator and voodoo-drenched “Papa Doc” of Haiti, a country whose condition we will be emulating, I think “Papa Dog” fits the president perfectly.
Link, or lie?
Excellent, Doug…!!!
Why do I have the feeling that if someone went back through every speech Obama has given you could find that he ripped the lines off from someone else?
We might all wish that were so. Hendrix was an Airborne trooper.
Obama pare was a serial woman abuser, bigamist, alcoholic Communist who killed himself…probably after taking some other people’s lives.
Didn’t LBJ pick up his beagles by their big ears?
Got to see Jimi play it live…ooops that dates me doesn’t it…barry can’t even give credit where credit is due..
I think Jimi’s song “Are You Experienced?” is relevant to Obama’s presidency, too.
Barack Owebama experience. Someone tell me this has just been a bad trip.
Michelle’s trip to the former Islamic Caliphate, touring of Islamic “castles”, and meeting with meetings with several high-powered Arabs was all part of the Obamas’ endorsement of the Cordoba Initiative.
(For those who don’t already know, the Cordoba Initiative is the group behind the Ground Zero mosque.)
Taxes, Bold as Drugs
Tire tracks all along Americas back, I can see you have had your fun Barry.
If BHO starts referring to Cap And Tax as “Electric Ladyland”, be very afraid!
Obowmao singing along to “Purple Haze” with Rahm Emanuel: “Excuse me while I kiss this guy!”
Doug, the first reference I saw to Jimi Hendrix was by our friends at Powerline.
I saw Jimi Hendrix at Ft. Worth in 1968 and, Barack, you ain’t no Jimi Hendrix.
Owebama

My two favorite names for Teh One! Very clever!
You meant “Wind-Power/Alternatve/Solar/Geothermal Ladyland”, right?
Public sentiment about the US government is at an all time low. Most Americans are close to ready to take up torches and pitchforks to march into DC, not just republicans. Though Obama is leader of the clown brigade, it’s not just about him.
It was a wink to Eric Holder. Holder is a big Hendrix fan — “Purple Haze” is one of Holder’s favorite songs. They are under siege for their policies and Hendrix’s jaunty tunes provide relief from “Washington politics poison”:
They are the ones the world has been waiting for.
There.
FIFY!
Right. Sorta like how history has shown that Lenin, Stalin, Mao, FDR & Jimmy Carter were right?
Don’t forget LBJ! His ‘Great Society’ legislation has ruined the Black Community.
Ever wonder about the origin of The One’s refrain “We are the ones we have been waiting for”? Wait no longer — here’s the answer.
A couple of years ago I noticed that the adolescent socialists likely took “Yes, we can” from a one-time line inserted into the refrain in the ?”return”? (don’t know what it’s called, but occasional late 60s – early 70s songs had one) after the end of the CSN&Y song “Chicago – We Can Change the World”:
We can change the world
We can change the world – Yes, we can
We can change the world
Etc….

Didn’t Bambi’s line about Americans being mutts come from the movie Stripes?
If I were more tech savvy,I could find the answer myself, but when it comes to PCs,I’m still a moron..Kind of like Bambi when it comes to the economy or health care, foreign relations, the Constitution, energy, bowling, umbrellas…
Ever seen this video?
