Not All Dems Are Running From Obama

Illinois State Treasurer, Democrat Alexi Giannoulias, is running for Senate against Republican Mark Kirk, and this is one Democrat who isn’t hiding from his association with, and support for, President Obama and his agenda.

Here’s Giannoulias’ ad. If there was ever a time when somebody was unabashedly proud to show off the security camera video from the time he helped his buddy chain an ATM machine to his truck and yank it out of the wall of the bank, this is it:

If I ran the Mark Kirk campaign, here’s the ad I’d start airing immediately in response:

Family legend has it that my great-grandfather owned the garage where
Al Capone had all of his vehicles maintenanced (Probably the only person that Al Capone trusted).

My suspicion is that if Al Capone took one look at this bunch of Chicago goofball yahoos (Obama, Emanuuel(!), Jarret, Blago, Giannoulias),
    he’d reach for the…………..

Sharon Angle in Nevada is running an ad where Reid is hugging Obeyme like their kin…the commentary says Reid is too extreme for America. I really liked the ad, although I had to look right at Obama’s mug.

According to the ad, AG isn’t taking any “special interest” money. So how is he financing his campaign? Maybe Obrainless is paying him to be his buddy. Everyone else is running from O like he has the plague.

Also, if a democrat says he’s not taking “special interest money” in a campaign, it’s seen as respectable and honest. When a Republican says that, the press immediately tells everyone that he’s buying the election.

If you put only your own money into a political campaign, how can that be buying the election? You are not beholden to any special interest groups and isn’t that what Obrainless just said is a good thing? So, if you take money from anyone, then that group IS buying the election. Kind of like how the unions paid for Obrainless. Nudge, nudge. Wink, wink. Say no more.

As always – Typical. Liberal. Hypocrites.

In the end, you have to tailor your ad to your audience. AG knows that Illinois is a libtards-rule-for-life state.

There will be a long list of (now) happy Obama minions who will go down in history as the foolish screeds that they are. There is no avoiding it. It will be the same with him as it’s been with all failed governmental catastrophes. God help us!

How is a dual citizenship crook even running close to a mere moron? Oh yeah, it’s Illinois. Alexi doesn’t even have the American pride to become a full U.S. citizen and give up his greek citizenship, yet Illinois would make him a U.S. Senator. He and his family are armpit deep in graft, corruption and outright theft, yet he is qualified to be a senator (as long as he is a democrat). Kirk is just a mealy mouthed politician who’s great sin is that he said he won a military award when his command won the award. Haven’t we all made some statement that imputes more attention to our action than those of our colleagues. I built that bridge, when the company I work for built it.

Obama: “Alexi’s not funding this campaign with federal lobbyist money, not a dime.”

As with Bill Clinton, you always have to look very closely at what he doesn’t say. He doesn’t say that he isn’t taking any sort of special interest money at all, just not from “federal lobbyists”.

Lobbyists are just middlemen. It makes no difference if you don’t take money from them, if you take money from people whom the lobbyists hire themselves out to. All you do is make yourself a lobbyist.
