Obama: US at War With ‘Sorry Band of Men’

Yesterday I spent much of the day near Detroit at a family member’s wedding and reception. That means I got to visit with a couple of relatives I haven’t seen in a long time and spend some quality time with them sitting in a car in the parking lot listening to the Michigan/Notre Dame game, so I didn’t run across this gem until this afternoon:
“They may seek to spark conflict between different faiths, but as Americans we are not — and never will be — at war with Islam. It was not a religion that attacked us that September day — it was al-Qaeda, a sorry band of men which perverts religion. And just as we condemn intolerance and extremism abroad, so will we stay true to our traditions here at home as a diverse and tolerant nation.”
“A sorry band of men”? Only Barack Obama could make a murderous global Islamic terrorist organization sound like the Bay City Rollers.
That’s just one step away from “wascally wabbits” isn’t it?

I am pretty sure Dear Leader misspoke again, as everyone knows the “man-made disaster” was caused by a gang of hoodlums.
This was beyond idiotic for Obammy to declare. He is not allowed to say “radical Islamic terrorists.” I dare him to say those three words.
I’m sure Dear Leader’s solution is to Taunt them a second time….

Who is answering the phone to participate in the polls? Most polls call landlines, which are constantly disappearing. When someone answers, do they tell the truth? I wouldn’t. I’m not sure the polls have been accurate enough. I think bho’s numbers are lower than printed. If dems are over polled, the number will be different. And just think of all the tricky wording to the questions. Some of the people who need to be voted out in the Senate aren’t even running this Nov. We have lots of work to do for this election and many more to come.

I know the feeling all too well, but take heart my friend. Watch the Obama approval polls. He’s spiralling in at record speeds. Lindsay’s advice is sound. America is bigger and stronger than these cretins. For the sake of my grandkids I need to believe it and work for it.

Unfortunately, Islam is at war with us. Even so-called moderate Muslims believe that eventually all unbelievers must submit to Islam or be killed.
That’s like saying, “It was not the Germans who attacked us on the beaches of Normandy — it was the Nazis, a sorry band of men which perverted German society.” While I’m hopeful that a majority of the German people would have preferred peace over war, they still sent their sons into battle. Their support for the war came out of duty to their country, fear of the Nazi government, or because they were deceived by propaganda. But we had to wage war on the entire country to defeat the Nazis.
Many areas in the world of Islam are becoming like that today. Either out of duty to Islam, fear, or propaganda, too many moderate Muslims are willing to provide moral and financial support to extremists like al-Qaeda and Hamas. Without this large base of support, these terrorist groups would fade away.
Suppose al-Qaeda pulled an ACORN-like stunt and changed its name to something like “Muslims for World-Wide Sharia”. Obama and the dems would announce that al-Qaeda was no more and the War on Terrorism was over.
I’m not calling for a war on Islam. I’m just saying that we shouldn’t pretend the threat is smaller than it is. Willful blindness does not enhance our prospects for peace; vigilance does. There are many groups out there, under various names, that are waiting for the right opportunity to strike at us again in the name of Islam. If we let down our guard, history will repeat itself. And when it does, the number of Muslims around the world condemning the attack will again be outnumbered by those cheering and dancing in the streets.

There is no other way to defeat this.
If there were moderate, peaceful muslims they would not hesitate to stand shoulder to shoulder with peaceful people of the world of all religions and work and fight to defeat the radical Islamic terrorists. They would not allow the use of their holy places of worship to the terrorists, they would report this kind of activity to the proper authorities of what ever country they were in. Denied sanctuary the radical Islamic terrorists would actually be a sorry band of men. They will not and cannot do this for several reasons. One big one being that they know better than us to fear these people, that they and their families would not survive long after such a “betrayal”. The peaceful muslims may well be saddened to see you, their friends killed, but in the end it is gods will, nothing can be done.
Also We the People are not doing such a great job of showing the loving peaceful nature of God, the brotherhood of mankind. We will not submit, but we will allow them to live among themselves? They may come here if they will live under our laws peacefully. If they want to live under their own religious law they should really stay in countries where their religion is the government and the law.
I too have seen zero evidence over the last decade of that often quoted “moderate muslim”. I have in fact seen far more evidence that bigfoot exists than I have seen that moderate muslims exist. Muslims are planting bombs in mosques and marketplaces the world over, killing innocent muslim women and children, and I haven’t heard a peep out of Imam Rauf, yet some guy in Florida says he is going to burn a Koran, and every muslim cleric from around the world is issuing fatwas and condemning this horrible act of christian intolerance. Screw them. We didn’t react in kind as a people after they killed 3000 americans because we believed there were moderate muslims. A decade later, not so much.
And I’ll bet when he said that, he had the smug, condescending look on his face.

That “moderate muslim” will generally go about business and life quietly, or perhaps, be quoted as disapproving of violent actions of radical muslims, but be assured, where Islam has taken over, you can strike the “moderate” from the description. At that point it’s either just “mulsim” or “dhimmi”. There will be no other choice or adjective necessary.
But don’t burn a Quran, or you’ll endanger our troops.

To use the term, “…sorry band of men.” is completely disingenuous. This is a large, organized, heavily financed group who operate out of sight, using the Al-Qaeda terrorists to carry out their attacks against fellow Muslims and infidels without impunity. There are groups of terrorist-supporting men who live in the shadows and let others do their killing. To make the statement that we are not at war is beyond the pale. Americans better start understanding that we are at war with an enemy who is prepared to die for their cause. Statements like THIS are why reasonable people believe Obama is a Muslim (and if so, he will always be a Muslim).
Not yet, anyways.
My concern is having the mosque (or any mosque) used as a training ground for terrorists.
